  • For today's Free Tutorial, I'd like to offer a selection of wirework techniques which can be used to create a bezel to keep a cabochon safely attached to a frame.
    I use these primarily in pendant, ring and bangle designs, but they can be used anywhere you have need to secure a cab. Each technique can also be used to create a halo effect around the outside of a frame too.
    Most of them are super easy but one requires just a little extra practice to create an even design.
    I hope you enjoy them, I still find use for even the most basic bezel technique after nearly 7 years of working with wire, and these options provide a great alternative to spending hours weaving complex or wrist ache-inducing wire woven bezel strips.
    Have a beautiful day, love, Jem xxx

    I need to shape to my wire but it is so thick and I did not I was trying to shape of zig zag pls can you help me

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  Год назад

      Your best bet is probably to get heavy flat pliers and turn right angles at regular intervals.

      @@JemHawkes it is not heavy it is thick like 2 mm

    • @JemHawkes
      @JemHawkes  Год назад +1

      2mm is a very heavy gauge wire, it's useful for structural work but I wouldn't use it for zig zag shapes.
