Nice, loved it
Another beautiful ring to add to my collection. I really enjoy your tutorials. Very clear and simple to follow. I have a file on my computer where I keep links for tutorials I use, categorized by Rings, Earrings, Bracelets, Pendants, Wire Wrapped Cabochons, Briolettes, and Beads. When I'm ready for my next project I choose stones, then look for whatever item I want to use them in. (Yes, OCD!)
What a great idea!
Love it!
Cool guide!
I love your classes. Absolutely love this ring. I’m new to jewelry making and you’ve taught me a lot. I also live your bracelet. Is there a tutorial on how to make it? 😊 thanks.

Cute ring! I love the pearl bracelet you are wearing in the video. Is there a tutorial video for it?
Nice and Beautiful 👍👏💯🎉
Good job
Love the multistrand pearl bracelet you're wearing! Is there a tutorial for it? I made the other leather and pearl wrap bracelet yesterday, your instructions were on point as usual and it came out exactly as I planned! Looking for a few more similar ideas as I love this type of jewelry the most! ❤❤❤🎉
I do love making g rings also, I have a beautiful loosely wrapped (at the base) large real pearl ring that made years ago that I adore!
Super!
Lovely ring thanks but please I want to see how you made the pearls bracelet you are wearing. It looks gorgeous.
I love your bracelet ❤
Really enjoy watching video 👍🏻very much useful by chance do have lots of stone so we can used it 🙏🏻 thank you very much 🙏🏻
Susan, I just love your tutorials & have tried quite a few of your ideas. I love the pearl bracelet you are wearing in this video. Do you have a tutorial for it? I would love to have a go at making it ♥️
I would love the tutorial for the bracelet too.
Hi! So does anyone know how to do a flawless wrapping with the 26 gauge wire when trying to attach the crystal stone? I am trying to get mine to stay tight, and it seems to loosen as I wear. It also does poke out... having a bit of trouble there.
I’m just getting my tools and supplies for jewelry making. I’ve watched several of your videos and subscribed. So far, your tutorials are the best. You show every step and explain why you do things a certain way. I love that! It’s challenging to find the center drilled stones for rings and earrings though. Any ideas where I can purchase them?
Wyn, thanks so much for your wonderful comments! Most of the bead supply from JTV will have holed drilled in them. Here is a link to our current inventory: www.jtv.com/category/jewelry-making/beads/_/N-1547377695#!/category/jewelry-making/beads/_/N-1547377695?No=24&Nrpp=24?mcid=XSOjsyt
Good luck and thanks for watching!
I love this idea :-). I also love the bracelet you are wearing. Have you done a video on that as well ?
always cut off the ends of the wires so that the tip is on the outside and not inside the ring, because even if you crush it so that it does not scratch, it will loosen slightly after some time and start scratching
good video
I love this style. I've been stuck on making wire wrapped rings the same old way but haven't made a bezel ring before. I'm anxious to make one. Also, kind of off the subject, what is the purpose of a half drilled stone?
Can't wait to see what you come up with! A half-drilled stone can be used for a lot of things. Lots of people use them to create stud earrings so you don't see any metal on the front of the stone. Good luck!
I think this would be fun if I could buy the 14kt rolled gold 20 gauge wire for jewerly making as it would last longer.
hi, love your work just a question can you please show us how did you make those pearl bangles that you wearing in the video, any link of how to make those?
YESSSSS
Hi, just subscribed to your channel and I like the way you take your time to explain. Can please make a video on your hand chain you are wearing...
These are lovely and I'd love to try making them, but gaunge still confuses me (I'm European, we use mm). Is that AWG or SWG? When talking about ga in jewelry making which conversation chart to mm should I use?
Lindo!
Awesome tutorial, thank you so much!!! Just curious, is there a good place to buy these initial supplies??? Like the ring mandrel and the bead mat??? I'm just starting so I'm sure I'll buy a little at a time, but I'd appreciate any suggestions!!! Thanks again for a wonderful tutorial!
Hey there, yes! Here is a wonderful bead mat: www.jtv.com/product/sticky-bead-mat-appx-5-5x3-25-/JMBKIT595?mcid=XSOjsyt
JTV is currently out of stock of our ring mandrels, but while we are restocking, you could use a large highlighter or some other household object to create your ring shapes!
is it also possible to use 24 gauge wire with the 6mm beads?
Beautiful ring. How much do you suggest to sell this Ringg for?
Would love to know how to make a bezel ring using the slider beads from the May 9, 2023 show.
wondered why your video was blurry, lol...... forgot i was wearing bi-focals. great video!
Do you have a video for the bracelet you're wearing? It's adorable!
Hey Katt! Thanks for the suggestion and we are working on it!
where do you get the tool with the MM markings
I have some pearls and labradorite and pink opaque opal. Im going to try
So, beautiful love 💐😘 Maestra 🥰 ❤️😘🥰🥰🙏🙏🙏
I love all ur tutorials thank u for sharing wat brand is ur flat pliers
They are made by beadalon. Hope this helps!
💖
I got into this wire stuff, to try to make some extra money I'm on Social Security and my money is really tight. I watch you all the time and every day you have a different must have expensive tool. But at least most time you will say you can use this instead. But the last few videos you have not done that, and that makes it extremely difficult to try to learn this stuff.
Can you make a video on that bracelet you’re wearing. Please
Hello I am new and hoping to start a business. Love your videos I am new at this video site.
What kind of vice do you recommend? I’ve found, since I’m a beginner, that it’s much easier to have my ring mandrel held.
Hi Annette! Since you're making jewelry and a beginner, you don't need anything heavy duty. Just go with a light duty clamp on vise. You can pick a relatively inexpensive one up at your local hardware store. Good Luck!
Hi love this ring 💗 where can I find the plier with the markings? Thanks!
Hi! This round nose plier is called an acculoop. We don't currently have this in inventory, but a quick google search should get you what you need!
New subscriber
Yay! Thank you!
I have a question. How do you make the bezel for a stone that's square or diamond shaped? I have sleeping beauty turquoise puffed diamond shaped beads, the holes are at the corners, that I would love to use there a way to do it with those stones?
Hi Bob! We have a video tutorial on how to make rings using various types of beads as you describe. Check it out and we hope this work for you!
Basic Rings for everyday
ruclips.net/video/Q2y26tJv1eI/видео.html
What can I use if I don’t have a the acculoop plier?
You can use a normal round-nose pliers. It's a little more difficult to be consistent and accurate but some people mark their pliers with measurements to help!
I love it 🥰
But I could use a round bead ?
Yes, as long as your bead has holes in it that you can feed wire through to secure it. It won't sit in the setting the same as a flat bead, but it will work!
👋 hello, thank you for the post. Maybe my first time for the tutorial.... but I know many have said nice tutorial but unfortunately for me the camera focus made it impossible to see exactly what was going on. Cheers
Do you have any tutorials for stones that don’t have a hole?
How do you get the beads in the video?
Hey there! You can get the beads right here: www.jtv.com/product/czech-glass-faceted-round-appx-6mm-bead-strand-set-of-8-in-assorted-colors/JLW11050?mcid=xsojsyt?mcid=XSOjsyt
Thank you! Is there a wire wrapping technique/tutorial for making a ring using a gemstone w/o a hole through it? I have some gemstones without a hole drilled through it. Much thanks! ❤
Yes we have those videos. Here are a few:

Hope this works for you! 😉
@@JewelSchool all of the rings in this tutorial have holes drilled. I’m looking for ideas on how to make a wire wrapped ring with a gemstone that has NO hole drilled through it. Thank you!
Great tutorial, where did u find the stones?
Hey Sofia! For this video Susan used a coin-shaped 6mm bead. Here is a link to a few coin shaped beads. The Australian Chrysoprase is gorgeous! Good Luck!
www.jtv.com/search/?Ntt=coin+shape&type=products&N=4243964577&Ntk=All?mcid=XSOjsyt
I have some stones that don't have holes drilled in them. Do you have any videos on turning stones undrilled into rings? For this video, could someone put a dot of glue like E6000 or even industrial superglue and glue the stone?
Hey Nikki! Yes, you can definitely use strong glue to place a cabochon in a setting. You can also create a wire-wrapped ring with a cabochon. We don't have a video covering wire-wrapped rings at the moment but we will keep it in mind for the future!
@@JewelSchool I would like to see that video too!
How long have you been doing this? Results are great though.👍
What would you do if the size is too off? Undo it or just completely start over?
I'd like to know that too. I suppose, if the ring is too large, you could wire wrap all the way around the perimeter of the band. That should make it snugger.
@@eponymousIme You could definitely wrap some additional wire around the ring part, or ... make another one for yourself and give the first one as a BFF ring to a friend!
This makes me wish i was better working with wire. I just end up ruining the wire 😣😒😁 (before anyone says practice more...I've tried and tried and tried and tried and tried...AND TRIED over the course of the last 6 years. I've made some pretty cool stuff but nothing i could actually feel good about gifting let alone selling. Lol I'll stick to beading 😁
@jewelschool have you done a tutorial for an adjustable ring? I'm trying to find one for rings where I dont know the person's size
No we haven't, but what a great suggestion! Maybe we can make this in a future episode!
@@JewelSchool looking forward to it🤓
Is there a basic tool kits that beginner should get? Thank you.
Hi! Yes there is! Here is a link to an essential pliers kit: www.jtv.com/product/artistic-wire-5-piece-shimmer-tool-kit/JSKIT0744?mcid=XSOjsyt
What brand and color nail polish is she wearing I love it!
Hi! We love it too, but have no idea!🤷🏻♀️😂
Need a better look at the type stone. I sit flat on one side?
Hi Susie! This is a 6mm coin shaped bead. Here is the link to the beads like the ones used in the project: www.jtv.com/product/czech-glass-faceted-round-appx-6mm-bead-strand-set-of-8-in-assorted-colors/JLW11050?mcid=xsojsyt
Let us know how it turns out!
