    Eddie
    Whatever you do, NEVER SELL THIS CAR!
    I moved from So Cal to a northern climate for retirement. Sold my '19 GT350 with about 10K miles on it to a friend just before moving. She is a true enthusiast and that makes my heart happy. Do I miss the GT350? Occasionally I truly do. I believe there will never be anything like it. Raw, visceral and made me smile every time I drove it. It was almost as exciting letting enthusiastic friends drive it for the experience.

    I’ve been watching gt350 videos for about 4 years now. I own a 19’ 350r now. …. I LOVE your content dude. Just a car guy who loves cars! Not to be negative buttttt. This car should not leave the driveway until 170 degrees and 5/6 rpm should not be touched until 190/200 degrees. It’s actually EXTREamly important to be on top of that. And also I change my oil like once every two months minimum!!!!! I put 4K miles on the car so far and did 3 oil changes. It’s a highhhh revving motor. No matter whatttt it neeeeds oil changes every 1500 miles in my opinion. 🤙🏻🤙🏻🫡

I was lucky to get the car for sticker price because of the Pandemic, people were not buying cars and dealers were eager to sell. I have done some mods like added rear Gurney flaps, rear top spoiler, rear LED side parking lights and race stripes along the bottom side panels. The only engine mod is the Air-Raid air filter. I'm thinking about getting front sequential LED turning lights from I5 Autohaus in Santa Ana California.

    I took my gt350 to a ford dealer service shop for an oil change, because i didn’t want to mess with the car at the time, and they didn’t tighten the oil filter. it leaked about 4 quarts onto my driveway when i found out. had it towed to ford and they told me it needed a new motor. told me it would be 28k for a new motor. i told them that i wasn’t paying it because it didn’t leak until they did an oil change. they kept telling me that my car didn’t have a warranty so they couldn’t do it for free. towed it to another ford dealer about 30 min away and they tightened the oil filter and did an oil change for free. my motor unfortunately burns a quart about every 400 miles after that mishap at the first dealer. they say that it wasn’t their fault because the motors naturally burn oil. i don’t really care because i got a brand new gen 2 for less at the better ford dealer and i have a full drivetrain warranty. awesome service at Town and country, never disappointed. i also drove my 3v to the first ford for a broken catalytic converter and then i had a horrid exhaust leak. i got my car up on jackstands and they were missing 2 bolts to the manifold. crazy

    What a beautiful car and looks like a true joy to drive! One "complaint" I've heard is the gear ratios are pretty wide so you only really get to drive the car to redline in first and second gear without getting into too much trouble. Do you feel limited in that way when driving it around town? I want a GT350 but am also leaning towards a Lotus Evora GT because it's supposedly more nimble and fun to enjoy on the streets and canyon roads.
    Excellent video and very informative!!! And glad to hear it has worked out so well 👍

    • @EddieX
      @EddieX  Год назад +1

      Hmm I don't recall ever feeling like the gearing was too long to enjoy properly, is it fast? absolutely. But compared to some of the other boosted cars this one you can actually run through a few gears and not feel like its instant jail. Also, it is so exciting that even doing half throttle shifted halfway to redline is fun. If you have canyon roads, the mid-engine lotus would be great, but won't have an engine like the GT350. I also did have a ton of fun in the Shelby on some pretty epic mountain roads. can't go wrong either way!

    • @EddieX
      @EddieX  10 месяцев назад +2

      for daily driving and almost all practical situation its hard to justify the "worth". Some people (myself included) like the exclusivity and top trim status of it being an R. but the changes are pretty minor and unless you are driving them hard on the track back to back I dont think you would notice. Carbon wheels, the aero, slightly louder exhaust (factory resonator delete). Id go find a really nicely maintained and specced regular, unless the perfect R just falls in your lap! you'll enjoy it regardless. amazing car and engine.

      @@EddieX 😅 That's my point. There was another channel with a GT-R...two years ago, he said "I will NEVER, ever sell my GT-R...". That GT-R is sold as of two months ago. C'mon. The GT350R is a great car...but so is the Mach 1 HP and GT500. Let's keep it 💯.

    Sweet car but it’s way too big just like the Camaro and chargers. Chassis feels like a boat.

    Thank you for your honesty. The lack of quality by Ford is a sin. The disrespect Ford shows its consumers is insulting. Ford doesn't know quality. They used to but no more. $60 $70 grand for junk is not for me. Thanks man.
