These armors just make me wish there was a new game plus mdoe that dropped your party at their current lvl with their current gear to play the campaign scaled to max.

I like how so far the harder to get armors are usually in places you'll encounter in your general playing. The beginning of the Contamination set is next to the turtles, and the elf is right next to the Magicockerel for the egg quest. And the gauntlets for the Devourer's set is in Bracous's little maze castle, and the boots are at Stonegarden right next to Bravous The Wanderer. Like I have no clue how to get the armor but I'm glad they put it in places you will travel through rather than being in random places like the captain and reaper set.
So for everyone who had issues with getting the gloves: you need a CONTAMINATION SPORE from one of the magisters next to the dude who had the chestpiece on. After a persuasion check, she gave me the contamination spore which worked with the trigger spores spell to get the gauntlets. The FLAWED contamination spores will explode as well, but those don't give the gloves. Those are for the boots/legs.
yeah, that is often the problem, you get this super cool armour set but then you are almost done with the game. Dragon Age Awakening (the Dragon age Origins expansion) is the same. there is this awesome-looking and very good warrior armour called "Sentinel armour set". You can get it early if you go to the Blackmarsh first, but I don't advise doing that, but never the less this armour is really cool. But if you want full benefit you have to go to the blackmarsh first and you can't really do that without going to the city first, so I guess you can go to the city first then discover the blackmarsh and go there I guess.
super interested in these armors, I know I'm a bit late but making me want to play DOS2 again. just kind of wish you were able to get the sets a bit earlier and instead of the armor being leveled up immediately, it would be cool if they just increased with your level. at the same time i know one of the fun things about DOS2 is getting new gear but the bonuses and unique things you get from the sets are interesting and its a shame they become useless at the end game
My perssuasion didn't work on the helm, what I did was use clear of mind skill and put the helm, althought it says it gonna take control of my mind it fails, thats how I beat it and I loved it on my Skeleton PyroNecro
with 5 rune slots on armor you can go crazy with any resistance and maybe get something over 100%. with 5 venom runes it would be 130% poison resistance^^

Actually the strongest side to this suite is rune capacity. Then I played classic aero-hydro mage, i straight up added around 45 intelligence by runes and armour alone.
I have the spore and the spell. I have tried every combination possible to activate the spell which includes: each character activating the spell, dropping a character to almost 0 hp while holding the seed and using spell, selling the seed to npc and using spell, giving seed to magister wearing chest, dropping seed next to such magister and using spell. No matter what you try the spell does not turn seed into gloves. The shitty seeds get activated, the good one does not, which leads me to believe the item ID on the good seed is not triggering the effect once the spell is cast.

My next plan is to grab the rest of the armor set once Dayena gets the Gauntlets but for some reason she explodes the spores I have in my inventory and beats me after that. Anything you'd recommend?
Any use of the activation spell will detonate the spores. I once activated a failed one when first trying it out and it took me awhile to realize those spores are single use items that are neccessary for the spell to work without the armor. Let me tell ya it was surprising to get an activation then nothing. Once I made that connection I just didn't carry them around with me in case I messed up

You have to pick up a contamination spore as you go through the quest, and then use the trigger spore skill you also learn from various sources throughout the quest to trigger said spore on a target to get them that way.

Help please, i save daeyana from the magister in shipwreck but i can't seem talk to her, she just walk away and disappear...can I still complete the quest? or should i just kill her? if i kill her how could i make the rest of the armor? by casting trigger spore to magister in reaper coast?
I accidentally killed her when she triggered the spores in act 2, and my party was too close to the magister’s body. So when it exploded, retribution proc’d back to Daeyena, and triggered her fight 😂 But yeah, the last boss fight still happens without her, the armor takes control of a magister instead
Can you help me? I killed Dayena in reaper's coast and i got 2 parts of this set, also killed there magister who had armor. Now i killed that paladin and got 1 part. I have 4/5 can i have all of them somehow? I don't have gloves
These added sets are fun but they come too late in the game. You should be able to get the full set earlier and then unlock or level up the skills/bonuses as you play. Instead they really are without much value.
I answer this in the video, and it's answered in the comments several times. Yes you can still complete the armor set, it's just more difficult if you kill her before the end.

Nah you Need to have a Seed on your self, the Use the spell on yourself or an low magister and After killing the affected one, your gloves will drop

I left her alive then pickpocketed two of the seeds and now I have a chest late two seeds and a dead elf what am I supposed to do

go to the blackpits, the magister daeyena caught is at the same location shown, use trigger spores there

There's a hatch next to the sewer grate that you have to discover, you shouldn't actually be entering the sewer

Diana got killed by the fight with the baby chicken. I never did find the gauntlets.

No, I talk about that at the start of the video, you just have to follow the journals and things you find around if she dies.

You need a higher wits stat, use potions or the Clear Mind spell to up your wits.

The only thing I don't like about this set is it is almost pointless on an undead -_-
Late game this armour is horrible - just shoots off poison at random and heals all the undead you have to fight.

No, does make parts of it more difficult if she dies though
