Btw , if you kill the undertaker and get the cursed feathers, you can just throw the feathers on the ground and bless them!

You can just make the entire Armor with cursed feathers,
Wear it,
Then bless yourself,
It'll remove the curse from all 4 pieces in 1 go i believe

My main problem with DOS 2 is that there are many really cool unique items with awesome skills and bonuses that you can really only use for an hour of gameplay before you need to get new gear due to leveling up.
*if you use chicken form on your other party member while one of your character is wearing the vulture set then your other party member will have permanent wings with flight skills too. it's a glitch. You can also turn NPC into chicken then once they turn back they will also have Wings. i discover it myself after one of my character mysteriously have wings then found out it was the chicken form while i was fighting an NPC and they turn one of my character into chicken. it's dope, with permanent wings they can wear whatever armor they want and will still have wings/ flight skill.*

Thanks for the guide, although in Maestr Siva's basement you can find a Source Orb in an energy cache. IMO it's way easier to get.

If you guys having trouble with the peace option, choose "receive its blessing, bow with your arm outstretched, quietly request, souls of the fallen"
I had this armor on my ranger all the way through middle of Act IV on Tactician. It was just still working well that I never felt the need to change. Not until about the middle of Act IV did I finally move on.

You can use Spirit Vision where you killed it, and convince a Dwarf to lift the curse on The Feathers.
I know I'm kinda late to the party, but I found an easier way to bless the cursed feathers. Just drop the entire stack of cursed feathers on the ground then bless the stack while it's on the ground.
There's an easier source orb you can get by bringing peeper (void chicken) to magicockrel and then killing peeper in the quest dialog.
I used both Captain's and Vulture Armor nearly till the end after I had given both to Corben before heading to Arx. For the last few fights with Doctor Daeva, the lich dragon and Dallis I swapped two pieces of the Vulture set for better stats but piercing remained quite nice...! ✌️😈

Great video, but you forgot to state one of the permanent buffs the set gives you - Far Sight. An extra 4 meters which is great on rangers obviously.

Actually you can just drop the cursed feathers to the floor and can bless 5 of them doing just 1 blessing

Hey sorry for my english. I have 1 question, can we craft only 1 time the full set ? So if i craft him at my lvl 14, he's gonna be useless after 2/3 lvl right ? It's not good to keep the craft for highest lvl ?
You can only craft the set once, I think you can combine this with the sourcerous sundries gift bag which adds vendors who sell items that bring equipment up to your current level

I just found the set as I was finishing act 2. Feels bad man.
Ignoring the fact that being a Relic quest mob the Undertaker awards no exp for killing it, if you DO kill it and get cursed feathers; you can simply drop the single stack of 5 feathers on the ground, cast Bless on the stack just once, and all 5 become Blessed. You can then craft the set as normal.

The problem with DOS2 unique loot is that in a level or 2, you will need to ditch it for something higher level or else get curb stomped because toy need to keep your armor up to avoid CC.
yup I was wonder what if u kept the feathers until lvl 20 and then crafted it? would it be crafted as a lvl 20 version?

Are those armours grow in stats with level increase? I got mind you by accident Captain gear. Very sweet with charming but very low now in fights with higher level fights. 🥺
Hello I practically tried to combined raw mutton+earth essence+source orb and it says invalid combination... Is this because of conflicting mods... Like every other crafting works except for this particular combination

Actually it looks like if you dont read/get the first book, you wont have recipes available to you. And you need to read/get the second peaceable option. I tried this just now and since i dont have the first book, no recipes and i tried to talk to vulture to get the peaceable option and it doesnt lead you down that path without getting and reading second book.
There's a copy of the first book in Ryker's mansion as well if I remember.

@@vacuuz Yes, the books just give locations, the ritual, and the recipes, but if you already know them you should still be able to do everything

I do have a very old save, I guess that's the reason I couldn't find any book in witch's house.
And in my save, the trader thun dose not sell raw mutton. So yeah, I need a fresh start for obtaining those armors.
Ive missed the book at judge orivands, is there a chance to get that Armour? Red the book by the witch house but it hasn't give me the recipe...

You don't need the recipe, you just need to combine everything, and yeah eventually
If i get the early at an early level will the armour match my level?
No, but having the full set bonus raising the items levels doesn't make it unwearable
Is it worth killing the undertaker for loot and exp?
XP is basically nothing. All of these new additions give 25xp for objectives etc, and 200xp for quest completion. Loot is meh. So no real incentive to do so unless you just want too.
Okay so did everything and have the blessed feathers but the armor doesn’t show up in my recipe book. I’m on Xbox, any ideas?
Just combine it with your normal gear, you don't need to know the recipes. As long as it's finesse it will just turn into the Vulture armour. If you fought it and got blessed feathers wear all the armour and bless yourself and you'll be able to fly and use it as normal.
I didn't find the 2nd book
So I fight the undertaker, took me 5 tries.
Do physical damage on the under taker and use Stoneskin potion.
See, If I didn't watch this I'd get nuked. I've had a hard enough time as is trying to get through reapers coast. seems like a shit ton of backtracking and such so you can level properly.
Hey there ! I read both books but i'm still on level 11. Can i still craft the armor with the peacable option ? I seem to remember you had to be 14 to get the peace option ?
I've done the peaceful option as early as level 9

Can someone tell me where exactly I can buy the mutton? I talked to almost every character in driftwood, everyone who sells fish, but I couldn't find someone who sells mutton. Can anyone tell me the name and the roughly location? I'm really frustrated and desperate, haha. And sorry for my bad English :/

Sounds like the DLC isn't downloaded, and you have to start a fresh playthrough as well

Ive been looking around for leather armor, and i cant find anyone who has a leather helmet or a breastplate for me to use. Where did you get yours? I might just be dumb lol
Vendors should have generic white leather armor in the town square, can also find it on humanoid enemies
Mortismal Gaming yeah I checked around driftwood and pretty much everyone who sells finesse based armor only sells the boots and pants
It just needs to be finesse based Armor, not just leather

I can't for the live of me find a raw mutton anywhere. I realised I need one later in a2. ANd uhm thun died in a tragic accident involving the whole town and the police. But I looted everything and crafted all my meat so now I can't finish the quest anymore. :D
I already crafted four of the Vulture Armor but I am now missing the pants, I'm now on Act 2 and didn't expect to combine the feather with leather pants, any other way to get the leather pants in Driftwood? Is it craftable? Help.

You can craft without recipes. Just combine a blessed feather with a piece of leather gear.
what if you save the feathers until level 20 to craft it? will it be crafted with level 20 stats? I had to ditch this set after like 3 levels on my last play through because my archer would get CC’d in one hit
In my playthrough it didn’t work. Gear had pre-defined stats regardless of the quality and level of the leather armor I used for crafting. And when I got it, I already had better gear in terms of bonuses and armor, so I never used it.
Just read that you need to be level 14 to get the peaceful solution dialogue options with vulture
I did it at level 12 in the video
Man i hope i can dismantle the gear set and craft it again for higher level set, i killed the undertaker at lvl 12 and crafted the set lvl 13 thus making the gear lvl 13 :/
It all scales up to 14 when you have it all on

The vendor that sells fish over in driftwood square also sells mutton
I found a shocked sheep at X:700, Y:360 in paradise downs. Kill the sheep and loot.
i did everything but, i couldn't find the recipes to craft the armor ,, i ve the feathers .

@@serilak there's another book in orivands study in act 1 and another copy of it in Rykkers mansion it gives you the recipes

Does anyone know if this set is always level 14? Or does it match the level of the character you craft the set on?
It stays on lv14 hence why he said it falls off in act 3. That is unless you use one of the gift bag features that enables armor scaling to your lvl.
