Does this work with console?
@@skalex6529 not sure but if console has usb it probably works
@@skalex6529 nah I don’t think so but if I want keyboard and mouse for Xbox one or series x I recommend getting the razer turret it’s the only mouse and keyboard that I know works with Xbox
thx
I am from Europe. God I love your reviews. You are so quick, so precise and always to the point. I like your way of presenting the products. You spend a lot of time with the products to get a good feel with them, and then you thrash your points of view with us...and I mean you really thrash your points out as if you are trying to cut to the chase. You make us the viewers get involved as if we have the product in front of us and that we , too, are trying to decide for ourselves after using it. I have subscribed. Your videos are brilliant. Much respect. Seriously, your presentation is of such high quality.
thank you so much for the kind words and support
I always come to you whenever I’m looking at a pc product, thank you, you’re incredibly helpful
Man! I like the design, the rgb lights is just wow.. Thanks for the information man
Finally a good review that doesn't just copy paste the specs section on the website! Keep it going man!
Nearly fell asleep with that music lol. Nice review dude keep it up!!
lol
I always loved the look of this mouse
Been using the Rival 600 since February. I absolutely adore this thing. It is very comfortable. Its looks get an A+. The DPI button is rather prominent and I do hit it on accident at times, so you might want to set your secondary DPI same as your primary. for 100 grams, it feels rather light. I mainly play Fortnite with it and it has yet to disappoint me. You can be confident that you're not wasting your money with this one.
agree, I love the 600, but I always tend to go back to my 310, lol! gosh I love that thing!!
Do you still recommend this mouse?
@@Voidolt just got it for 40 dollars on amazon prime day lol!
Your videos are very useful thank you so much
(My gaming setup is going to have this mouse and the artic 7 tkl keyboard so I'm glad I found this channel
How do you only have that many subs! You are one of my favorite tech reviewers. Keep up the great work!

An amazing review! That has a pretty cool design to it and is known as a good gaming mouse! Amazing review again!
thank you!
So happy and positive rewiew like always. I hate how there is not lot mouses for big hands and most of are for smaller
I don’t know if you will answer but is CPI and Dpi the same thing I need to know before I buy this so I don’t have to do a new sens.
Ur reviews are amazing
what is the software for the rival 600 i own that mouse and do not known the software to use
Got a question here. So, I´m thinking of buying this mouse, but I´ve read multiple complains about the side grips coming off or the glue getting out, so if you´ve used the mouse after your review, did that also happen with yours, because if yes that´d be a big concern
Hey guys can you please help me out about choosing which one is better, is it the rival 600 or the glorious Model o?
Im glad to see you growing
Thank you so much!!
the RGB theme suits with the holiday song :D great review
lol, thank you
i know im really late and i mightve asked this but there is a sale and do you think it is worth 60-70$$
I do not know english. Would you recommend Rival 600?
Side flu problem?
Your videos are interesting. Keep it up!
thank you so much! & will do
Your the best review content creator ever!
thank you so much for the kind words!!
i had problem with angle snapping, with both latest steelseries mouses, they dont work at all. i have an old one from 214 i think, the angle snapping worked perfect with that one. anyone else has this issue? i really need that function. mailing steelseries did not help at all..
Nice review man I actually need a new mouse but keep it up before you know it u hit 100k subs man i believe in you
thank you so much! what mouse are you thinking about getting?
im nort sure
not
Great vid I was wondering if u could review the red dragon k552 35 dollar blue switch mechanical keyboard
you got it!
I have this mouse for more than a year and the side grip starts to peel off :(
I love the tracking in this mouse... would love a 50 cpi though so you don't have to do a whole 100 jump. I have been using this thing for about 2 months, I had wanted it for a loooong time.
Maybe it's just me but the left and right click buttons feel real mushy and if you don't palm it with the tip of your finger at the very tip of the buttons it's almost impossible to tap fire. Maybe it's the amount of travel if you find yourself gripping it where your fingers are in the middle or towards the back you will be full spraying before you even know it. I feel like this is a recent problem that has started due to the excessive use it has had over the past two months, but the tactile feedback of the button leaves a lot to be desired in those intense reaction clicks. I find myself smashing or really pressing the hell out of it because I tend to set my finger subconsciously about half an inch or so from the tip of the left click every time I go from scroll wheel to click.
So... other than the buttons needing some kind of tweaking or something... because the mechanism is definitely not made for those claw grips or a hybrid palm grip, but they are designed for a flat palm grip if you only do that. You're golden.
I just find that with the positioning of the dpi button my fingers seem to just naturally back up feeling it between them.
Dude you have very good quality and you make the best reviews it makes sense to me
Your very underrated
thank you so much!
The Techne no problem and I got a quick question what key switch sould I get for the apex 7 I like the click of blue but the smoothness of red
@@lilsins656 oh man smooth reds all day for me. but it's all personal preference.
The Techne ok thanks
Im getting the apex 150 and the rival 600 now. Thank u for helping me decide 😊🥳
Same lol
Hyper Helios gaming the 150 is the best one i have ever had but it is alot cheaper than the apex pro. And they say that the apex pro is the best steel series product but I would never think about buying a keyboard for 200$ ++ so in my opinion the apex 150 is the best😊
Would you still recommend this mouse?
I love your videos!!!
i bought this mouse a month ago, and now its cursor is randomly freezing. i was actually getting a good feel in it, but then that happened. it's just sad
idk why but your voice is fun to listen to..... btw i have this mouse and it has been 5 months and 0 complaints. it is a bigger size mouse tho. and the white rgb looks like a bluish tint. but other then that, it so good.
lol! I also love this mouse, again it's just that 80$ price for a bit much fluff. yeah, almost every product I have used with "white" rib looks bluish, lol! corsair probably does the best making white look white.
Hate this mouse tried my hardest to adjust to it, but after coming from my g403 the low profile makes my fingers feel like I have arthritis
The only issue I ever had with my model of the mouse was the adhesive on the grip on the right side of the mouse always goes lose and the rubber moves. I’d still be using the mouse but it just gets annoying too much.
I'm agree. Actually I have the same problem. Any suggestion or idea for fix it?
i did like to buy this mouse because its was 100gram and can be adjust up to 32gram more..
i have logitech G102 and its feel super light i want somemore heavier for my fps game, and the plus of rival 600 is its tilt type mice.. ambidextrous mouse is bad for me since i accidently miss click RMB.. anyone have reference mouse for me? sorry for my bad english
Awesome review dude
thank you!
Can you change the color of the mouse to make it a solid color by just using the mouse because I don’t have a PC to do the engine?
software needed
Dang that sucks, ok , thanks though.
That review was bananas
dang this is an old one :)
love this. prolly gonna buy the mouse now
it's such a nice mouse! that price tag is just ehhhhhh.
ToxiK is it good ?
I got it for about 25 bucks with the side rubbers gone. I got new ones from Aliexpress for under 2 dollars. It looks brand new now and I love it.
I’m buying a mouse on Black Friday and it’s on sale for $40 do you think it’s worth it now
I'm not getting along with this mouse. For my claw grip my index and middle finger tend to position themselves too far back on mouse button 1 and 2 where the resistance of the click is too high. Might be better suited for palm grip though! I'm going back to the Razer Basilisk, my all-time favorite.
Can somebody help out? I plugged it in, the drivers didn’t install, and now I think the mouse is broken/bricked.
I mean if someone can help me set this up
I just got it! 40 dollars on amazon! It is a really stinkin good mouse lol! Love you techne keep up the good work!
Hey i wanna know if you experienced any issues with that mouse?
@@mka1361 I love the mouse itself to death but the cable is pretty bad. The rubber peeled away a little. Other than that, it has been the best mouse I've ever had!

New G502 is out cordless and a bit of the weight gone. A bit of a ridiculous price at $200 (CaD) but might be a great mouse to review if you feel like grabbing it as it was the top mouse bought in 2018 (with cord). Great vid btw looking forward to the new tech!
yeah, I used the wired one and wasn't all that happy with it. plus 150$ here, honestly my video would be me complaining about the price the entire time, LOL.
also, thank you so much for the kind words!
most helpful guy on youtube nc
So I got it in sale for 40. Is that a steal orrr
Does this mouse work on console?
But can I use it fore ps4 tho
I got mine for 48 on amazon so it’s a good time to get it right now.
I'm so sleepy with kindergarten's song 😪😴😴,btw good review dude 👌👌👌😁🐼🐸
lol! thank you!
Hey I have a question does the grips adhesive still on I heard the adhesive keeps coming off
Just buy some super glue just in case because I was worrying about that too but I saw a comment on a different video and they said that worked perfectly
FlipLikeE yea I saw replacement side panel on steel series website
Robert XD Gaming i didn’t know that but yea I would probably just super glue them back on
Robert XD Gaming I’m getting a Rival 600 mouse Apex Pro Tkl and the steelseries desk mouse pad for Fortnite I’m a pro player just I could get way better with a better setup
FlipLikeE ok thanks and btw my mouse is coming tomorrow XD but yea thx
Noti gang
Does it work on xbox
Does this mouse work on Xbox one x ?
Thank you. I need a new mouse, after some research and this review I just ordered one to try.
ahh your going to love the 600, such a great mouse!
How do you like your mouse? I hear a lot of mix reviews from Steel Series.
AirMaxPenny it’s good if you have medium hands
AirMaxPenny the shape of it is great. I like heavy mouses because I can glide with em better but that’s just me
@Matt Vinci first of all you tall ass hell, second of all we all have our own opinions. My hands aren’t that big (7 inches) but I like the shape of it. The weights is fine for me. Like I said I like heavy mouses because I feel like I have more control to it. I don’t really have time playing video games so I do need a little more time with it. IDK I like it :)
it is the best mouse if u have a shaky hand issue.... and the weights are perfect to control that. I wish they design more mouses to cater for such issues
Same
3 years later of using this mouse, the soft touch rubber on the left fell out and was annoying to clean all the glue that was leaking from it, same goes for right one on top, the bottom one still holding strong without any problems, the 3rd button on the left side is hard to reach and doesn't really feel natural to press it as you have to move your whole hand to reach it my hands aren't small it's just like 5mm to far, the software went from good and minimalistic to bloatware and full of useless things like ads, middle mouse button has problems sometimes it's working normally and then other times you have to press it much harder for it to actually register, the click is always the same pressure but it decides that some days it just wont work without applying more force, maybe i just need to clean it idk, overall i paid 80€ and i was happy for 2 years, after 2 years these rubber thingys started falling apart and MMB started failing
Do you know if this has onboard memory? Your the only RUclipsr that I can find that still replies to comments a YEAR later 👍 ur awesome
yes it does
I saw this at my Best Buy, and I really liked it but I already have a mouse that’s similar (the g502). I want it but my hands like the grip at one point, then they don’t. Thanks for the review
thank you for watching!
My brother uses the g502 while I use the Rival. If you want a mouse that's a little more comfy and don't utilize all the side mouse buttons, or if you use lower DPI (I use 800), then you should definitely give the Rival 600 a shot. It's a phenomenal gaming experience (+)
i meant if you don't utilize all the g502 side buttons
jacob austin ok
hmm, did you make any rival 650 review?
no :(
I've been using this mouse for 2 years and the only problem I had is that recently the side grip kept falling of but it was easy to fix.
Other than that great mouse.
How do you fix it?
And how often did it fall off?
I have it seems nice but I always used the razor mice and the clicks on this one throw me off quite a bit keep that in mind if you buy it
How do you change the batteries
Its wired
i just bought this today :D
Hello! I'm now choosing the mice from Razer Deathadder Elite, Asus ROG Gladius II Origin and Steelseries Rival 600. And i really don't know what to take. Can you help with that? P.S. The game i play a most is Overwatch
never tried the Rog, looks like a similar shape to the DAE. I love the deathadder elite. could i suggest you look at another? take a look at the 310, one of my fav and my current mouse of choice. now everyone's hand and comfort will be diff. sheww that's a tough one. I just put them all in my hand right now, and I gotta go..................310, 600, DAE. I highly recommend you giving the 310 a try.
@@TheTechne Okay, thank you!
@@vladdergachov5384 your welcome, hope I was able to help a little. let me know what you decide on, and how you like them.
Should I get it
NEVER GIVE UP
i love the fluff so its worth it for me just ordered one :)
lol, hey it has it, and it looks great! pair this up with the arctis 5 headset, apex 150 keyboard, and steelseries rgb mouse pad, that would look so cool, disco time!!
Does it work with console?
One thing that you probably couldn't put on this review, as it would take a longer time to show, is the quality of the adhesive glue on the side grips - it's the one big downfall of this mouse, after 3-4 months the glue will pretty much melt and grips will peel off. I bought this mouse earlier in February this year, already had replacement panels sent to me, and the replacements already show the same issue. Otherwise, great mouse and sensor.
yeah I hear that a lot. now I have been using the 310 a good bit, and no issues on that one, but some state it happens there as well.
Idk if u will see this but what would you say is the best mouse for around this price range
Btw great vid
can u do a review on the Logitech Gpro TKL gaming keyboard and also do u like the romerg switches. You can do the review its your choice also nice vid.
I've had my eyes on that keyboard, waiting for a good sale. (I know I'm a cheapo, lol) as for mechanical I really like cherry mx red's
its this good for。dota2?
I’m gonna have to get one tbh
Great video as always! You should try Logitech also, they are pretty good.
yeah I did the 403, it's was fairly nice.
It’s so weird seeing a “k” in your sub count lol!
right, lol!!
you are so underestimated dude your deserve 1 mil subs
thank you so much!!!
Nice lighting
right, that's some hot RGB
Just watched this video as ive just picked up this model for £32 of Amazon hope its worth it
Is it good?
what do you think is the best gaming mouse so far in 2020 ?
man so many great ones, for me if I would just pick one mouse, I would pick the GPW
Is it good for Fortnite or should i buy Logitech g402 for Fortnite
mice really depend on your hand size, weight preferences. everyone will be diff. but my fav is ruclips.net/video/EjHBa_Nwe8s/видео.html
Can we play on ps4 with this mouse??
U can u just need a computer for the software so you can remap the third mouse button. If you don't want that button, you actually don't need to do anything to it and it will work straight out of the box 👍
Great review. Why i didnt like this mouse was those clicks they feel so clunky specially when playing overwatch and its too heavy for fast games. Sure its ok for csgo and casual sp games.
I moved from zowie ec1 to gpro hero (wired) smaller size took couple days to get used to but so much better 83g feels perfect weight and as its small mouse i can play higher dpi.
yeah this clicks are very clunky!
Both for $35.67, Rival 600 or 710 ? Worth it in 2023 ?
Ouuuu at 1.1k now !
