- SteelSeries enters the light weight mouse game with a bang ... giving us a 68g wireless Rival 3, along with a USB Type C soft and flexible braided charging cable.
Very impressive stuff out of the gate. Still a few quality issues, but it's cheaper than the other top tier wireless mice so maybe that's to be expected.
The draw back is the shape still isn't the best, but it's still a good shape, so definitely worth a look.

I only ever hear about, Razer Logitech, Gwolves, Endgame, Pwnage, Glorious and a few more, but never even a word about Steelseries.

it looks really good and also my last mouse was a rival 110, but the only thing stopping me from buying it is the sloped mouse buttons, i really like how my new razer viper mini feels. its like the mouse is holding my hand.

Oh man I am going to lose my mind when the Aeros 9 MMO wireless hopefully comes out!
the sensor placement is slightly towards the back which can give it a different feeling and even make your sensitivity feel a little bit off as a result. not a deal breaker, but just something you have to get used to.
I wish companies would send you out plastic molds with all their shapes so you can try out the shape without having to buy and return or go see what's on display at best buy.
I have the rival 3 and I want this so bad, when they came out with the 50 dollar version and it was +100 grams I was like no way. but this is what I like and im going to get this, 68g!???? This is dope.
it is the same exact mouse as the Rival 3 except it has the honeycomb style, i’ve used the rival 3 and can say this is a solid buy if you are into lightweight mice.

Finally, companies are making top-tier mice with Bluetooth features, so we can take it on the go or use the same mice also for work.
I have hard time finding good options simply because I don't want to carry two+ mice around, if you plan to use something for both work and play your options are really thin like Logitech G603, G604, Razer Basilisk Hyperspeed, Rival 3 Wireless and....that's it.
I was going to pick razer viper but it didnt come with bluetooth which is a hassle to use on my work laptop. This is perfect on the go.
Too bad for that 10% loss on precision due to rgb turning off man!

Hey could you please review Hyper X's new Pulsefire Haste? Its a lightweight mouse and im looking forward on buying it, would like to see an opinion on the shape from the one and only RJN
I have both the rival 100 and gpro wireless and both are excellent for 1-3-1 grip meaning the dent on the right side can be used to grip without accidently pressing the rmb. About shape well i find the gpro wireless slightly more comfortable but its also bigger so cant fingertip it, but id say both are a very safe shape to go with

I'm probably in the minority here, but I've been looking for a modern, light, wireless FPS mouse that also has bluetooth for AGES. I'm really into consolidating all my gadgets of late. Dropping it in my bag with my chromebook to take to meetings etc, and then switching back to proper wireless for gaming at home. This looks like the one I've been waiting for.
Man if this had the shape of the Rival 310 I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

They are making a rival 600 with the same design too, called Aerox 5. Maybe you will like that more.
The rase for the lightweight mice is on and I'm using a brick called G604. Fortunately I don't play competitive FPS games and for MMO it is a great mouse.
i have the new 2022 version and it slaps no problems at all super clean and crisp
You should look at the Mountain Makalu 67, I have reviewed it myself and I absolutely loved it. It even replaced my MM710 as a main mouse.

Just bought the mouse hope it’s a good upgrade,well it obviously will because I had a Logitech g402 and it was very cheap but impressive can’t wait for the new mouse to arrive
I prefer this over the g102 and viper mini shape. The grip width is around 5.7 and that works if you palm grip. g102 and viper mini are to narrow for palm grips both cramps on the pinkie, but this shape is fine.

I have the wired version and I use it for csgo. Love it, nothing to complain about. The weightlessness of it makes flicking very easy.

Hey, the m4/m5 buttons look pretty far back, would it be further back than say the Model O? I've currently on the model O but those switches sounded good and having the buttons be a bit further back would let me use m4 more frequently. Thanks!
are the switches still hard to press? before went to the lightweight mice route. i tried the rival 110 and 105 i actually liked their shapes but the huano switches were too heavy for me esp when using them for productivity. it made my wrist feel strained after a while so i sold both of them.

I think you have to measure the cm for 360 degrees with each mouse with the same dpi. Because it's not always the same. for example with my FK2 I have quake with 1.6 sens 32.5cm for 360 degrees (800DPI), but I had to set the G pro wireless to 750 DPI to get to 32.5cm. I also had the Finalmouse Ultralight like you and with this one I didn't have the same cm for 360 degrees as with my FK2 in quake too. I sent it back then because i could not change the dpi in 50 stepts at the finalmouse.
I find this very important, because when you always use the same dpi and sens and you buy a new mouse and you think the new mouse is bad because you cant hit anything, but in reality its just that the dpi is not the same like with your old mouse.
I always make sure that i have the same 32,5cm for 360 degree in every game at mouse-sensitivity.com
My mouse is the G pro wireless now and at first I thought that this mouse was bad because I had played it before with 800dpi although I needed 750.
It would be nice if you can add this in future videos maybe, because i find this very important.

hey, have you got a copy of the HyperX Pulse Haste yet? It is not wireless but I think it will compete with the wired version of this mouse. The shape is slightly different, and the weight is similair (58g)

Is the scroll button easy to press? Because nearly all lightweight gaming mice have a very stiff scroll button. Still haven't found a single one where the button is easy to press.

@RocketJumpNinja I have also had the wired version for two days. Has stopped tracking 3 different times. Once I unplugged and replugged it in it went back to tracking. But either way it shouldn't be doing that. I feel like the feet could have been a little higher to off set the lift off distance. Anyways just wondering if you have the wired copy and if you have been able to reproduce any of these issues as of yet?
