Aerox 3 Wired Review + Comparison With Aerox 3 Wireless!
HTML-код
- Опубликовано: 28 июл 2024
- Taking a look at SteelSeries newly released Wired Aerox 3 Lightweight Gaming mouse. I will be comparing it with the wireless Aerox 3 in this video as well. It's a mouse that has a lot of potential but definitely falls short in some aspects. Stick around to hear about the build quality, performance, features, whether its worth the price, and if it's going to be right for you!

Very professional vid great review and nice edits ( I liked the vid as well)
Thank you very much! Appreciate it 😀
whoa! great job! appreciate the effort!
Thanks!
I believe you can find some 8mm wide round skates on Corepad, and the 13mm wide skates will probably be available soon enough, so I guess that's one thing to do to make this mouse great
Oh, ok. Good to know 👍🏼
Left and right click different sound? Right is louder?
What rgb mouse do u recommend about the same price?
One of the first mouse to react to a review like this! They added 100% virgin-grade PTFE skates that are huge after this review!!!
plz do a review of the leopold!
Im getting a 2nd pc and dont kno if i should jus get a 2nd glorious model O or if i should get this mouse or the pulse fire? Lmk yall.
Does this mouse work for play station
Dude, our setup is nearly identical and I can't get over it. I have the Purple Storm mousepad, the mouse in this review with aftermarket skates (changing it to G-Wolves Hati M Stardust), and the Ergochair 2. 😂
Wow! That is quite the coincidence haha. Great minds think alike I guess 😀
one of the best unbiased tech reviewers! making decisions on what to buy a lot easier :p
Thanks! Appreciate the kind words 😃
@@CalebThornton np! glad to support you :D
they actually redesigned the skates, and they feel really nice now and cover the entire top and bottom half of the mouse.
Love the mouse just wished the side buttons where a little bigger
Purchased the Steel Series Rival 3 back in April for my Son and The Aerox 3 for my daughter last week , both Wired ( Rival was $29.- & Aerox was $39.- ) there both good budget Performers butt i do Prefer the Rival 3 Style and texture Compared to honeycomb style 🎬 the Aerox 3 is Very Light 🐭
I’ve seen many reviews on the Logitech g502 and since your my favorite tech RUclipsr i would like to know your opinion on it
Thank you! I personally have never used it, so cant speak from experience. I think it is outclassed and beaten by most new mice coming out today though. I mean if you are someone who really likes all those buttons and that really heavy weight for a mouse then I would say do it. Otherwise though I would go with a more current option.
I would stay away from it, too many issues, the switches double click way too much. Sometimes at first day of use. Speaking from personal experience, I have the G305 at the moment and it’s great, if you want a G502 shape, I would recommend the Razer Basilisk Hyperspeed, it’s wireless too for about $50.
I would also recommend the Razer basilisk v2 it's around 70 bucks. you could find it on sale for like 30-50 dollars sometimes and it's also about 96 grams making it a good chunk lighter than the g502
I got my aerox 3 wired today, should i still keep it havent touched it yet because its my christmas present. Also thanks for pointing out that the wire is detatchablr because in orher reveiws ive seen they dont point it out so i was like idiot this isnt the wired its the wireless, thanks for the great reveiw tho! (Also im 13 and only weigh almost 70 pounds so i think it should work and shouldnt be to scratchy but i can also use different mousepads cause i got some mousepads that arent scratchy so should i get it?) i subbed btw good job👍
It would still work fine for you I'm sure it just has some of the flaws that I pointed out in the video. The skates are passable especially if you don't put much pressure down(like you were saying) I would just keep an eye out for some replacement skates if it bothers you badly. Possibly even more important would be to just get a USB C paracord to pair with it since the stock cable is pretty bad. Otherwise I would recommend the Burst Pro or HyperX Pulsefire Haste over this(I have reviews of both on my channel) Thanks for watching!
@@CalebThornton thanks! Will defnitely try the burst pro or hyperx pulsdire haste if the mouse doesnt work well or the viper mini if it doesnt work but great content!
Thanks!
Here's my personal ranking (based on solely eye testing + specs):
1. Pulsefire Haste
2. Burst Pro
3. Aerox 3 Wired
How do you feel personally? And if possible can you do an overall video for those 3 together?
Love the great video as always!
Thanks, appreciate the support! I would say that I agree with that ranking, I would have the burst pro at the top if its clicks felt better. I need to see about getting a replacement copy. I think that would be a good idea! I will try and get a video with those three mice next week possibly.
@@CalebThornton well the Pulsefire Haste and the Burst Pro are kinds of tied 1st, I just listed them as 1 and 2.
And yeah, maybe if we get aftermarket feet for the Aerox 3, it can be decent too.
Thanks for the quick replying man!
@@phucnguyen0110 Of course! Yeah if it had better feet would make it a much better contender
Bro no offense
Your videos are good but It's a suggestion and that is you should review diversified product lineups of tech or computer related stuff not only just peripherals but also other things and you can also upgrade your background and you can add humour on your script. I think people will like that much more.
Thanks 😊
Thanks to suggestions. My niche is peripherals so I won’t stray to far from mice, keyboards, and headsets. I might be willing to do a couple other things though. As far as back ground goes I would change it up but my kitchen is the only place I have room to film as of now sadly. I don’t read off a script for videos, but I do write down main thoughts on a tablet to just look at between takes so I can refresh memory.
@@CalebThorntonOh I see. Another thing is you can make your thumbnails more colorful and eye-catchy
and thanks a lot for reply
I'm still debating if I should get the Steelseries Aerox 3, or the Glorious Model o
lol same
Dont get the model o find somethingg else, alot of peoples model o's broke within a month, mine broke after a couple days, id get aerox 3 or something else but its your decision.
I really recommend the hyperx pulsefire haste, same price as the model o for a way way better mouse
they changed the skates to be bigger and i got it $25 of so it was perfect for me!
I returned this mouse instantly when i noticed the usb c doesnt have any form of stress relief. Now i did try to wiggle the connecter and even tho there was quite some play it wouldnt disconnect. But there is no way i trust this connection long term. Recepe for disaster😊 now it uses the same cable as prime mini but that mouse does have a stress relief cutout so the connector fits in snugglly. Stupid design choice if u ask me
what is the best ducky keyboard?
For me it is the Ducky Miya pro. I like the 65% layout and the solid build quality.
@@CalebThornton is the one 2 mini better for beginers?
@@CalebThornton and do u have discord?
@@lgfkc9612 It's not a bad board its build quality is just not the best. It's up to you as far as which board you want to go with. You could go with a cheaper alternative too.
@@lgfkc9612 I am working on one right now👍
i was thinking if i will buy the wired or wirelless but with this vid i finally now. (i will buy wired)
The mouse lasted me a while then started to disconnect during mid game
Idk if you watch Pewdiepie or not but he has a new mouse out for $80. It’s 65g, wired, with a honeycomb design. Idk if it would be worth checking it out. Although it will ship in January 2021 so no one has it but Pewdiepie. Idk I’m a Pewdiepie fan so it interested me
I don't normally watch him,but I'm not one to not check out a new mouse haha. I will have to take a look at it, thanks for the recommendation!
@@CalebThornton ok lol. Btw the Aerox 3 looks kinda solid but the side buttons are just not a good shape or size
Yeah, it's an odd one. I really want to like it but just between the skates and side buttons I cant quite get behind it.
i have the wired one not the wireless one
Will you consider getting the pewdiepie keyboard
I would love to get my hands on it. It's just really spendy 😬
@@CalebThornton yeah
@@CalebThornton If it stays for a while I would love to save up for it, but first I’m occupied with figuring out a new setup
@@OFWROL Nice! Yeah, definitely would not put it at the top or priorities for purchase.
@@CalebThornton yeah, my friend is changing key boards, so he might give it to me
Why are all the new mice or mouse with these holes that are not even covered up..dirt and food and what not will find its way inside the holes...i dont get it..also one punch from a anger attack will destroy em,,Also ur hand skin will get marks of these holes..groose :D
It makes them lightweight, covering them would add grams to the mouse. If you're looking for a lightweight mouse but without holes try the razer viper.

They are waterproofed and dustproofed up to a certain extent, so that helps out a bit. I'm not a big fan of the honeycomb feel but I'm fine with it as long as if its not on side panels
@@CalebThornton btw i asked roccat support about the mushi feeling bottons and it seems like they are on it and fixing em..im not 100 % sure but they mentioned a issue that was gona get fixed..so perhaps try get a new version of the burst pro and test again ?
@@Psycrovv Good to know! I might have to return it. I have been using it as my main for gaming just cause I love the shape so much but the clicks are driving me crazy haha
@@CalebThornton cant wait to unbox it after i buy it black friday, then i will be back and tell you if i feel the same :)
First
Wow! That was quick haha
7 th
Not bad! haha
the steel series axeon v3 mouse is the worse mouse ever made dont waste your money!!!!!!!!!!!!!
