I switched from my usual wired gaming mouse (Logitech Hyperion) to honeycomb wired (Cooler Master 711) and I never looked back. As someone who has small hands and whose hands easily get fatigued in continuous gaming, lighter mice is a game changer. I am definitely getting this!

I got the OG rival 3 back in February and the thing still looks brand spanking new, I kind of want to get the Aerox now cause i want wireless, but the rival 3 treats me like a king every time I use it.

TheLouisVII •u• the model o is pretty trash from what I've seen. Its popular in minecraft pvp because it double and triple clicks, but that's very annoying in any other game. They're also about the same price, but this one is wireless

I bought this and I honestly do not recommend this mouse, the first problem is the side buttons, they are really small which some people like but that is not the issue though, the side buttons are squishy like it squishes in quite a bit before you get the click it doesn't feel stiff and responsive it almost feels like you have to be careful you dont press too hard and squish it in too far, the rival 310 side buttons wouldve made it perfect. Another thing is the mouse skates, theyre weird and circular, they glide but not well, you can physically feel that its kinda scratchy and yes it affects your aim a lot. The shape is decent but honestly youre better off going with another brand or in my personal opinion buying the rival 310 its just honestly the better mouse, while it is 22 grams heavier and is somewhat noticeable if you have the 2 in front of you its honestly just the better mouse, the shape is very similar the aerox 3 is just small. Also when I say small this mouse is tiny
I agree with you on the side buttons they are absolutely awful. I've been using the Rival 310 for about 2 years now and they are far more superior and even they can be improved. I do not agree on the scratchyness you describe though I keep my mouspad very clean and it's much more smooth than the 310. I play alot of competitive fps games and the tracking is fantastic. I would suspect your mousepad is dirty or something.

It looks like a rival 110 shape. Looks really amazing. But for any potential buyers, consider this... The mouse sensor placement is just a bit more towards the back of the mouse in comparison to the g pro or viper ultimate which has their sensors more dead center of the mouse. Having used the rival 110 for a while, the sensor placement towards the back makes your sensitivity feel a bit slower with wrist movement. This is because when pivoting the mouse in an arc movement with your wrist, the sensor will move less distance than if it was in the middle or more towards the top.
This is in no means an objectively bad thing, nor is it impossible to get used to it. Just something to consider before you buy that you may have to adjust your settings a bit to get the same sensitivity feel of another mouse.

Someone gonna get this for Christmas and have a motherboard that doesn’t support usb-c
there is a USB passthrough included, meaning that you can plug the wireless dongle to the passthrough and connect it with the included cable which is USB-C to USB-A. I personally use it like that, on a USB A port

I'm curious about how it wakes up from sleep. I have a Rival 650, and it has some annoying characteristics. First, I have to click a button to get it to wake up - it doesn't wake up when I move it. Second, if I plug it in to charge, I can click to get it to connect, but if it falls asleep, I have to unplug the cord and then click to get it to wake up and reconnect. I hope they've addressed these issues with the Rival 3 and the Aerox.

Can it still be used as wired? And if so does it remember presets when adjusting dpi, colors. Etc. main reason I ask is for using it with Xbox games and certain games with a Xim Apex

I think I am going to be going with steelseries because of its shape, at least on paper. Obviously the biggest difference will be shape over anything else, so trying one at a store would be best. My brother has a model O and I would like a larger hump, which this steelseries mouse has so I think ill try it out.

which one should I get. SteelSeries Aerox 3 or Razer Viper Ulimate?
I just got mine today and sometimes it has a freezing problem when im on a game. Example: I look around and it tends to freeze for a second or even focus on one thing for a split second almost like it has a delay. Any fix for this you may know about? (yes I have tried updating the driver and my mouse is up to date, I made sure to do that when I hooked it up).

The sensor is amazing on the Rival 3, but the shape might not be for everyone. This has the same shape.
How is it for work? I use Adobe softwares and do web development so I wouldn't be using crazy movement (I want to set up a really cool and fun work space)?I have a Mac and have the steel series keyboard and like it a lot and would like to keep it uniform.
