Thank you. Sold. My Rival 700 is probably 7-10 years old and were 100% reliable. Started to double click on auto this year, but it's been used to the extreme. I already use Steelseries USB Mousepad and Keyboard, so i prefer to stick with Steelseries so i can use same driver and settings app.
Love the cable, love that it's not detachable. Too many buttons for my taste, but if they have a similar SKU with cleaner design, I'll definitely get it.
Literally the only thing that I am looking for in a mouse (so far) are: Wired Stepped scroll wheel Back And Forward buttons Auto-clicker button (not "3 clicks burst" like those other reviews for other mice I've seen) And I think this video did a good job on making it clear if it has those and it does
My rival 700 just crapped out. This looks like the closest thing to it but better. I liked the rival 700 LCD screen for some apps but i can live without it. Thanks for the review.
Small World. I had Rival 700 for liked 7-10 years, but it now double clicks on auto sometimes. It were used to the extreme. I'm getting Rival 5 to replace it.
Owesome review!! Looking to get a new mice, wich is better in your opinion? The Rival 5 or the Rival 600? I play fps, city build and sometimes a rts game.
I'm thinking about replacing my Rival 300 with this, it's been many many years that I've had it and it's starting to show it's age but still works well. I'm wondering if I get better precision input from a new mouse instead of my old one.
Thank you for a great review. I would be very grateful if you could let me know if you can bind the buttons to Windows actions like close a window, minimise the window etc?
The Corsair Dark Core RGB Pro has been great for my nearly 8" hand but it is a heavy mouse, weighing in at about 130g. www.techpowerup.com/review/corsair-dark-core-rgb-pro/2.html
its a real pain to take off this 1880s cloth fabric from around the cable. its fine for clothing irons and pressure fuel injections parts but for a mouse. braided cables a real nuisance.
My first day with this mouse. I play fps and mmorpg's and i can tell its only for fps, because mouse 2 button feels really weird and my playstyle on my rpg relies heavily on mouse 2- its not good enough for spamming it as much i'd like. Otherwise good mouse and software. Seems to need some time getting used to.
Damn I am not sure, if 60 quid is midrange :| To me it looks like quite a nice premium-ish mice with nice programmable buttons. The SteelSeries SW was also always good. I am still rocking my Rival100 so if that ever fails, I will give the Rival 5 a look
One of the worst mice I had, to be honest - all because of a notoriously flawed scroll wheel developing bouncing issues (you scroll up or down, and scrolls jitters in the opposite direction). I had 3 in span of ~4 months - thank god for warranty. When a cheapo office mouse I use for work survives every day work for 7 years with zero issues, gaming mouse surviving a month or two is inexcusable.
Have this few days and its very disapointing mouse, like "never buy steelseries again". First of all its glitchy. Its just stop working some times. Okay, maybe I have a defective copy and not all of them like that. But its have lack of onboard memory! Some of setting stored in mouse and works alwayes, but some function cannot be mapped if you not have loaded steelseries garbage software! - Its just a shame. Never buy this cheap crap.
U dingas !! A mouse that cost 60-70 $ is a mid-range mouse? A mid-range mouse cost around 30 $ .What next - mouse that is priced over 100 $ will be called mid-range?It's still expensive for a mouse dingas.Dont give credit to companies saying that this costs a little.
@@wuhsabi In the end its just a mouse. U are all ready brain washed. Go and praise the companys for some raise in prices again, because hmm 200$ is not enough. What a fkn mouse has that cost 200$?Tomorow they will say to you that a mouse costs 500$ and u will say well thats fair.. No no its just a mouse so fu and the companys.. Peace

Thank you for a very informative review. I'm sold. Ordering today.
I like the viper a bit more, and it feels a little more comfortable with my bigger hands.
Those side buttons sounds great! Never thought I'd be playing a MMO again, but now that I am I kinda need those extra buttons.
SOLD! Thanks for the great in depth review Andy! :D x

I got this for ¥62.00 in jp without researching. I instantly liked the shape and looked up the price in my own country and it was 40% cheaper in jp

Can you review large mice please? I like a mouse with palm grip and pinky and thumb rest. I have a large hand.

Is this good for roblox?
I don't think roblox is a game where you need to worry about stuff like this..
