@@Blyyyyyy im sorry i don’t have that mouse, however, many people say that this one is one of the best mouse ever built In like 2019-2020, and they have pretty much the same sensor except steel series modified it and it also has an additional sensor, I do have the g203 and I prefer the rival 600

i used to own a logitech g602, thinking that i would use all 6 side buttons and ended using only half of them. Recently bought the rival 650 wireless for 83$ in black friday and turned out to be perfect for me i love every aspect of it. would recommend everytime

This was interesting, I'm a g502 owner and the mouse feels perfect for claw grip & my hands look a fair bit bigger than yours :/ the middle of my palm doesnt touch the mouse at all when gripping claw. I believe the g502 would be worse for smaller hands /w palm grip, rather than large hands using claw. They are both fairly large mice though so I guess its just subjective.. Hmm..

I bought one of the more recent steel series keyboards and the grip for the desk has that garbage adhesive and already fell off. The keyboard is phenomenal and the issue I had was easily fixable but I shouldn’t have had issues in the first place especially after only a few days

I had the steel series in my cart and I think I'm going with the g502 hero instead. Zowie is supposed to be great for FPS, which is mostly what I play, but the g502 seems much more versatile

Soooo... 2020, should i go for the Rival 600, or the G502 Hero ? I'm really lost atm... Help me ! I feel like I'm mid way between claw et palm grip, and my current mouse is a CM from Master Lite L combo (under 100g so I'm more familiar with lighter mice). I love both designs even though I would say I have a little preference for the Rival 600 since I like when it's sober and not gamer-ish. I play some FPS, MOBAs and WoW. My hands size is about 18cm. I'd rather choose the G502 Hero for the grips and the 3rd thumb button, but I like how the Rival 600's left/right buttons seems to be so satisfying, but I really don't like the grips glue. Any help or tips would be amazing !
Your absolutely right if they fixed that button the sales of 600 or 650 would jump crazy and I would buy 1 my self ASAP but that 1 reason made me go for the g502

@@nolan2340 Do your side rgips unstick? I read on forums that a lot of Rival 600 owners have this problem, because of bad glue that is melting under hand temperature. Also i heard that side buttons are very bad and right click is worse than left. Do you have any problem like this?

To fix the scroll wheel on the g502 just press one of the buttons on the top
I got a G502 for Christmas and it broke after a couple of days. When I say broke, I mean when I right click, it doesn't always register right away and it randomly releases the click while I'm still holding it down. Seems to be a mechanical problem since I swapped the buttons in the driver software and the left button doesn't exhibit the same behavior.
To make matters worse, I got a G413 carbon (a Logitech gaming keyboard) with the mouse - this also started breaking down on me after a week or so. The right side "kickstand" snapped off and the plastic cracked, then one of the buttons came apart. Apart from that, I didn't even like the design and the keys were too small and raised too high.
These items were a waste of $150 since they both started having problems before they could even hit the 2 week mark. I had to go back to my Walmart brand mouse and keyboard. What's the point of having a bunch of features if the product is cheaply made and of shitty build quality? Not planning on buying any Logitech peripherals after this.
I just ordered the SS Rival 600 from Amazon, am I fucked because of the far button and the adhesive issue. I bought it because I dislike the G502 Hero, only after 3-4 months it started double clicking. I also have the old G502 first one and it didn't double click till now more than 1-2 years... Also I went for a mice with normal feet which I can use the Lexit Ceramic Mouse Feet and not like the stupid G502 mouse feet.
Would you say Razer viper is better compare to Rival 600? because that's the choice I am afraid a bit. I think the Sensor on the 600 is way better than the Razer, and you also say the clicking is so good. so what do we say?

i solved my problem with the rival's grip. my "pinkie" grip started to move and it was very annoying, the problm was the glue, they used too much glue, the glue heated and that was the problem, i selved it by simply removing some glue under the grip and.

I have a g502 and I have bigger hands than him and I have no problems with my mouse. I feel it’s very ergonomic and comfortable to grip. I have heals the rival 600 before and I have to say it was underwhelming. I would love to see the next generation of g502 have an even more upgraded sensor, saying I have the hero version I wouldn’t upgrade right away but it would be on my bucket list.

I would go for logitech because i game and use photoshop and illustrator. So i can bind more macros to the buttons

Im thinking of getting a new mouse. Anything that fulfills any fps role but happens to have at least 2 extra buttons on the side. I was thinking of giving the extra bucks for Rival 600 but the rubbery part complain looks like a huge turn off.. One can argue that with some glue you can fix this issue but no one should have to be doing cheap shit on their well paid mouse.. Yet still it just seems like the superior option here! (I know its all subjective). I think I still might go for the Rival 600 overall but im still skeptical. Do you or perhaps other people in the comment section have any personal recommendations? Whether they are personal or objective putting performance first and perhaps including RGB aesthetics
Great question! in my opinion, FPS is where the rival really thrives, its light enough at about 96g and the comfort level is like no other mouse I've personally ever held. The sensor is also the most accurate for me too. Truly a spectacular mouse for FPS
I have now changed my grips very easily on the Rival and it has, for me, become the perfect FPS mouse, absolutely nothing to complain about. I will briefly show the grip-tape I used on the rival in my next video, so stay tuned!

@@HFTVChannel ito of shape, the deathadder elite is pretty similar, with different key switches( omron if my memory serves ) , also the finalmouse phantom or air58 is an excellent option, i only spent a limited time with the phantom, but it was extremely similar to the rival for me with a better cable and slightly lighter at about 71 grams. It does not have any lighting however as well as the air58. Those would be my personal choices ito similar mice to the Rival 600

Good content by the way, you make good points but I think making segments and perhaps giving short titles to them as you go on with a video might help the structure a lot and make the video feel like it flies by faster and you can still hit the 10 minute mark without having to drag things on in future videos.

I would personally go with cherry switches , both fantastics boards, though Corsair has been in the top rankings of gaming enthusiast peripherals for quite some time , not taking anything away from the gigabyte at all though ,it's fantastic

I've been using g502 for 5 years and i can say that it was a beast but because of my harsh use its cable now has some problems. And if you're playing battle royal or moba or rpg/mmorpg go for it !!
i had an accident and couldnt use my lefthand for 3 months and that mouse helped me to play league of legends and even apex... it has so many buttons to help you out in these kind of games
The steelseries button is meant to be a macro button. There is no default setting for it. You can set it to a macro or a keyboard key, but it has no function. It is disabled by default. I have a little problem with the middle side button rattling, but it is still crisp when you press it down. Not as crisp as my old deathadder's, but crisper than the G502's.
Also the grips are awesome at their job, dispite what he says. But they do use a weak adhesive. Just super glue it.

The point is you shouldn't need to superglue the grips together. The adhesive is horrible.
