The side buttons look extremely far forward on the SL2 Dex. For palm grip/relaxed finger tip grip I'm genuinely wondering if my thumb will even reach one of them. The more time passes, the more I appreciate what Zowie have achieved with the EC2.
The thumbgroove also looks intredibly intense compared to something like the EC2 or even the DA V3 which had a fairly big swoop out. For me a lot of these mice seem like they are laser focused on what works best for claw grip at the expense of their usability for palm. Even if my hands were massive and big enough to reach that furthest forward side button in a palm grip by then my finger would be flying off the end of the clicks no?
This mouse looks neat, but I'm just not sure it's for me -- and the SL1 wheel and side buttons were mega crap which doesn't seem to have changed too much going off the reviews I'm seeing for the Dex.

I don't understand how they can fuck up having almost a monopoly on quality mice across the board from office mice to gaming ones...
They could fire their entire design and development teams, keep the production and just keep pumping out the same good mice that they've already made and everybody would be happy

honestly the curve fall of at the end of the mouse is an improvement for aim. its bad to have your whole palm touching the mouse because you lose finger control doing that. any good mouse meant for gaming should not come to the back of your palm when you hold it, and you should really only have the tips of your fingers making contact with the mouse.

I noticed this downward spiral of Logitech's QC since my previous 3 mice (G102, G403W & G304) exhibiting scroll wheel issues and have stopped recommending their mouse and headsets to my friends since then. The only reason I still keep the 304 is the custom FF14 WHM vinyl wrap that I designed.

After using the Viper V3 Pro for a week, I was expecting more significant upgrades. The coating feels slippery, the side buttons are too soft, and the scroll wheel hasn't improved from previous Razer models. I recently switched to a DEX, but the feet are of low quality, and the scroll wheel is equally disappointing. It seems like Logitech has only focused on the design, not on the overall quality. Plus, the price is quite high. I'm considering ordering either the Stormbreaker MAX CF or the Maya X Fnatic Edition. Thanks for the honest review.

I was actually hoping something like this would come out... 4 years ago. The 703 is nice, but living in Cali means that the rubber sides would soak up the moisture and would wear down quickly. I would've bought this if only Razer didn't beat them to it first.

I used my superlight 1 for about 2-3 years and noticed that my control with the mouse wasn't nearly as good as when i used my viper mini 3 years ago. So i decided to get a Pulsar X2H. The pulsar mouse IMO feels much nicer in terms of shape, and even felt a little more responsive (could be wrong). All i will say is do your research before you buy. don't get what all the "pros are using" because most of the time, they will have brand deals with that company. I bought my superlight for $220 CAD, and don't like it nearly as much as my pulsar mouse that i got for $100 CAD.

Actually, I love mouse friction as long as it's smooth and not sticky, and I use a cloth pad. However, as a budget conscious wired mouse user (the charging is not worth the effort anyway) I'm waiting for wired version. I just can't justify paying a ridiculous price for a disposable mouse that's also inconvenient. Too bad almost all lightweight mice are wireless. Also, are the mushy side buttons from fixed? G403's side buttons were perfect. The switches sound good. I've tried some Razer and other opticals in a store and they were trash, sticky as hell with a large gap between activation and deactivation force which made spamming cumbersome.

I almost wouldve won one for free from the aimlab challenge, and then I join the discord and see there are extra rules attached and suddenly all my score submissions are moot because I played all tasks on an fov that is apparently not allowed (even tho their minimum FOV is too high to be allowed in my main game), and if a single one of my submitted high scores would have been still on those settings it would have disqualified me for everything according to the rules, so I didn't even try to do the ultimate challenge again with the settings that they apparently want me to use because there was no way I was beating my high scores on all 9 other tasks with settings that I don't even want to play on while also still getting the top 500 on the task I was actually interested in

Hm I actually enjoy the Dex compared to many others out there atm. I can agree with the thinn mouse skates sure, but at the same time Zowie's black original skates are like dry dirt on a clothpad in comparision on their offerings. Razer Viper V3 Pro had sensor errors even after firmware updates which in turn showed up during ESL Majors(search and find videos on this). And that one is more solid? Havent seen any problem with the Hero 2 sensor in the Dex yet. Instead it seems like they have fixed the outliers at 4000hz which the Superlight 2 had.
When it comes to the switches i find them light and crisp even compared to Lamzu Thorn and Pulsar Xlite V3 which i have on my desk aswell. But not as snappy as on the Stormbreaker BLG which uses Omron opticals aswell. The shape feels solid for my palmgrip, i would say that the angles and hight makes it an even safer shape then alot of other ergo shapes. I got no creaking or flex in the shell(unlike the awful DA V3 Pro)and the coating is similar but better then on my Xlite v3 white. The scrollwheel problem i havent noticed so far, for me it works just like many others. But with that said I don't use it for anything where i need to press it down so long, just throwing granades in some games.
I feel that Logitech has released a couple of bad products latly like their 60% keyboard that seems way off where the market trend is right now and that dreaded G309 crap. But the Dex for me is not one of them. It's actully the first ergo shape from them i don't find is built for an alien as their history going back to MX500 or Mouseman wheel for that matter 😂. And i normally don't like their products so go figure 😅

Loved the G903 Wireless, but it developed a double click issue on the Right mouse button. Registers 2 clicks when pressed once. They sent me a G Pro Wireless as a replacement, and now that has a double click issue on the TINY rear thumb button. Will look into a different company for my next mouse. Good customer service, but for $179 CAD I shouldn't need it.

iunno if the viper v3 pro was a great comparison considering the majority of them shipped with a game breaking sensor issue that stops it from tracking when the mouse is set down. latest firmware fixes it, but the mouse still stutters occasionally when tracking. inexcusable for a 150 dollar mouse. but i do agree they made improvements to the coating, skates and that razer in general is trying to innovate more.

I wish they would replace the power play with a skate similarly sized to the front. The puck is inconsistent, and no puck gives more friction to the front. For casual players I can see liking the convenience of charging through power play, but this is marketed as a "Pro" mouse. You don't need to charge the mouse so often where you're losing blocks of time connecting to USB.
