I'm sure your dad will get endless hours of enjoyment from having this grill cart! You got it done just in time for summer which is great. That's a good idea to set the grills on the paver blocks in the cart. I bet your dad is so proud of you and happy to have a daughter who is so handy!
Shara, a lot of wood and a lot of work and now you have us starved to death!, What a great time for this build. I'm thinking this weekend should be an all barbeque weekend. My Wife and I send our best wishes for a Happy and enjoyable Memorial weekend to you, your family and of course including Lucy. Thanks for Sharing!
Nice grill cart! Very good use of the space, given the size of the cart needed for two grills. One idea to prevent the caster mounting plates from corroding. Get one of the thick rubber truck bed mats made from recycled tires. Cut a piece the size of the caster mounting plate and put it between the pressure treated wood and the caster. I’ve done this on outdoor pressure treated projects and after several years, no rust! They don’t seem to affect the use of the caster either. You always have a great, easy to follow build video that makes me want to build it or at least give it a try! Lol…. Hope you all have a great weekend Shara!
Whoa-- I was laying there this morning thinking, "I need to fire up the grill this weekend ". Then this pops up in my notifications! Nice job Shara! Glad you added the disclaimer, I've heard too many cases of people setting their house on fire from the grill. I hope you and your family have a great weekend!
Awesome cart! I hope he really enjoys it. I've never used one of these grills before but I have to pull my regular grill about 6 feet from the side of my house to prevent the vinyl siding from melting... 😬
Such a wonderful surprise when I get to see my Shara Saturday’s builds. I’ve got to tell you, I LOVED the dogs input 😊 🐕! This was a really cool build, and even though I doubt I’ll have the need for it any time soon, it’s good to know that you have some good plans for me if I ever go hog (grill) wild. One a real note though, it’s good to see you outside of the bathroom…. 😉 😛 🤣
Simple and beautiful! Love the grill's. Now you have to make a vedio of cooking something on them. Love to see how they work. Great project as usual and thanks for sharing.
Fantastic work, Shara! Beautiful cart!!! 😃 I think about making something like that, but smaller... But first I need to start grilling again soon. 😬 Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Quedó espectacular, y me gustó mucho la metodología que usaste para hacer la estructura. También me gusta mucho la herramienta que usas para perforar la madera. ¿es muy cara por allá? Muchos saludos
Absolutely love this build. A little late in the season but gonna build one for my Big Green Egg. Use my egg year round so this will be a welcome addition. Thanks for the great video. Blessings!
Turned out Great Shara! I just love following along with your projects, your videos and informative and enjoyable to watch. Thank you for posting, already looking forward to your next video :^)
One is a Classic 3 and the other is a classic 2. The Classic 3 is a little taller to fit the slo-roller (black funnel thing on the bottom shelf). Great vid btw. Going to chuck something together similar to this myself. Thanks :)
I used the exact same link to purchase both from the exact same store so they’re supposed to be the exact same product. Just purchased a couple months apart.
I appreciate the blanket warning at the end, but did you use anything specifically to treat the wood for fire/heat protection? How are they holding up? Really fantastic build, btw. I’m always impressed by your projects.
They’re a different height because they aren’t the same model. Also, Kamado Joe has little feet you need to install if you want to set it down like this. Sitting flat on a paver might crack the bottom because of heat retention. But I’m sure your dad knows this. Only a hardcore carnivore needs 2 Joes!
@@WoodshopDiaries they’re both Joe classics but one is the series 2 and the other is series 3. They’re very similar but the height difference is one of the changes between them.
@@WoodshopDiaries thanks! It was my first experience of this type and your plans and video made it enjoyable for me. I bought the pocket hole tool and will definately be building more furniture 😀
Nice grill cart! Your dad is a very lucky man. Thanks for sharing the build process as well as the challenges you had with materials.

Great looking grill cart, Shara. You take very good care of your dad. I'm jealous.
Thanks for the video.

Thanks for that tip with the rubber between the casters!
@@jeffhesse8415 …. Your welcome! Hope it helps.
That is a neat looking grilling cart! Thanks for sharing this.
Thanks so much for watching! Have a great weekend 😎
Very nice Shara. Again crisis averted on the door. Great job.
Always showing me things I didn’t know I needed. Lol. Thanks for sharing.
So glad you enjoyed it! I appreciate you watching!

Beautiful build Shara! I must be the only guy on the planet who hates to grill, but I appreciate the food that comes off one lol
Yes, you are the only one.
Me encanta... Veo todos tus videos.. Un abrazo desde Chile 🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🇨🇱🐶🐶
Great job. Very helpful as a friend has asked me to build a car for hit Komato grill. He wants the Cedar wood though.

I’ve thought about building one of these for my Weber Kettle
I keep seeing them everywhere. It’s nice to have them set up on something mobile I guess 🙌
Fantastic work, Shara! Beautiful cart!!! 😃

Great job again Shara Love all your vids. Take Care
Nice grill cart, simple and does the job. Good video

Well done. Nice simple design. Great video.
Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it!
May build one for myself, I have a weber charcoal kettle grill and a kamado joe.
One is a Classic 3 and the other is a classic 2. The Classic 3 is a little taller to fit the slo-roller (black funnel thing on the bottom shelf).
Great vid btw. Going to chuck something together similar to this myself. Thanks :)

You got a great deal then if the price for both were the same as the newer KJ Classic 3 is about $700 more
Nice grill cart!!! You do fantastic work! Have you done a DIY outdoor cart but for a gas grill? Thanks for sharing!
That is an awesome set up. Great job 👏
Thank you 👍
Beautiful job!!!!
Thanks so much!
Great Job looks nice
Thanks 👍
Great video! Is it ok to just have one grill off to the side? Concerned the weight would be too much for one side only…
I appreciate the blanket warning at the end, but did you use anything specifically to treat the wood for fire/heat protection? How are they holding up?
Really fantastic build, btw. I’m always impressed by your projects.
Amazing! I’ll be having a go at this! Would it be the same dimensions for a Big Joe?
perfect
Thank you 👍
Good
That is a beefy cart, and I am sure is heavy. I bet it will be a lot lighter after the p t dries out.
Nice build

I ordered them for him and they’re the exact same model…exact same link, same website, just ordered two months apart 👍

SMOKE SHOW
....clearly no expense spared for your father !
I am currently building this. Can you confirm it supported the weight well since?
The one I made is still good as new and my dad is putting it to good use.

👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍 that's all I say
How’d you manage to get those grills in there? They’re so fucking heavy. 😂
Kamodo nothing. Thems Egg cookers!
They're all the same to me haha. I don't do the grilling
$3500 per grill. Wow.
Last I checked (which was yesterday), $1700 per 👍
❤❤👍👍👍👍👍❤❤❤
