- After so many years of being disappointed with trying to cook on a low kettle BBQ, I have decided to solve the problem and make a multi purpose garden trolley that will accept a BBQ, work surfaces and ice buckets and can be used for all kinds of garden activities - most of which I haven't even thought of yet!

Fast becoming one of the best channels on RUclips. brilliant stuff 🛠️🛠️🛠️
After spending many years watching all the same RUclips channels as we all do, this feels very strange getting comments like this - but very much appreciated - a big thank you.
@@ProperDIY well deserved mate, keep it up 👍👍
You ain't wrong! Whenever I get the notification I'm always like "Ooooh, new video!!" You're getting a real nack for these, they're hilarious! The production quality is awesome.
Very enjoyable to watch. Great project. May have a go myself.
Starts at the intro sequence :D Most inviting one i can recall in ages.
No only is this a genius-level project but it is also a TV-grade production. Loved the intro :)
Subscribed from just watching the intro 😊
I’m so sick of the loud content creators repeatedly saying “let’s get into it”.
I don't know why this hasn't got more love. It's amazing and very much a quality finished product! Best of luck for 2022 Stuart!
this is by far the best BBQ station conversion I've seen that I can actually make myself.
Good to hear it
Came for the thumbnail. Subbed after the intro. Then you came in with great instructions. I love that you're seriously talented, but don't take it too seriously. This was such a vibe.
This has to be one of the best DIY videos I've ever seen. So informative and detailed, and I love the finished product!
A well thought out project, with a very smart finish. Enjoyed that.
Thank you
10/10 intro. Felt like I was watching an infomercial!
the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.
How you plan and exercise these projects with such precision and detail is amazing. Love these vids ,keep em coming
Thanks, will do!
One of the best transformations we have ever seen! Incredible work! And that grass is looking outstanding 😉😉
One of your best Stuart, fair play.
This project is awesome. And I agree with the comments about the production values - top notch. I'm watching all your stuff as it's just great viewing.
This has to be my favourite video and project of yours to date! The intro was brilliant. I’d love to build a garden trolley for my garden.
Thank you
Great project, love the forward thinking stuff like setting the raw-plugs into the concrete, brilliant.
From one engineer to another, I salute your project 👏. Great job and presentation!
I just stumbled across your channel a few days ago and I am very impressed with it. Your level of knowledge and your ability to accurately convey that to your audience is truly impressive. I have learned a lot in the videos I have watched so far. Thanks very much for your hard work in creating this channel and I am very pleased to be a new subscriber.
I can watch this video over and over...imaginative and very creative. Your videos are mini tutorials and I thoroughly enjoy them - keep them coming! 👍👍
Thank you so much!
The most brilliant piece of garden furniture I have ever seen, Stuart. I have a bad back, so I need a workbench high area to work 90% of the time. It's only occasionally that I have a BBQ and I had one of those huge gas things that I eventually freecycled as it just took up space in my garage and was rarely used. This is ideal - a sometimes-BBQ-potting-table.
Well thank you - it seemed sensible to me as like yourself, the BBQ is not a very often used item especially if you live in the UK.
By far the best multi-use barbecue and workstation design on the net. very well executed design and a top notch video too. I like this one a lot and I think this might be the first time that I get off my arse and do a version of one, so cheers for the inspiration
Once again you created a work of art. To buy that in the shops would be a couple of hundred quid. And the way you present it through the stages to the final completion, you make it look like someone with no knowledge, not think twice about making it. Love the intro too. Made me grin.
Thank you. I think with some basic skills and practice a lot of people can do this. I hope that this may encourage the average DIY'er to create something for themselves.
Great video, I have had something like this mind but couldn’t decide, this multi functional, just the job! Well done!
Proper Job beer after a job well done. Nice one.
Very nice job. Like the small details and taking your time to make everything perfect
Just brilliant. Loved the intro, simple yet functional design, and end result! I might be copying this one ;) Thank you!!!
Thank you. Got for it and incorporate your own ideas and spec
That is genius! Was thinking about buying a replacement gas bbq as mine has corroded to the point of no return. Having seen this and with the promise of a new shed, I might make one of these instead!! Love the project. Great look and so versatile. Keep em coming!! One of the best channels on RUclips!
Love this guy. He is REAL LIFE! Thank you.
Absolutely Primo, Stuart!
You made that look so easy.
Very clever idea, glad it was a simple cart to make. Very handy as so adaptable.
Absolutely fantastic, love all your videos & learning so much. Thanks.
When DIY is better than professional... I take my hat off to you, both the Cart and the video production top-quality. And you my friend just earned a sub. Cheers
Thank you
Cracking project. Can't wait to do something similar. Great, simple explanation. Thanks, Stuart.
Glad you enjoyed it
sir, you are a genius. possibly the best BBQ cart build ever!!
really enjoy your style and delivery, keep em coming👍
Thanks - I try
A great choice of beer! Excellent video I thoroughly enjoyed.
Evening Stuart. Just discovered your videos. Absolutely fantastic mate. Spent all last weekend binge watching from the start to this weeks garden edition. Another fan here. Thanks for the tips. I thought my boiler was broken until I watched your video on boiler maintenance. Low and behold my pressure was low. Followed your tips and it A1 now. Lol. Cheers, take care 👍🏻
So impressive Stuart I made a table the other week for my camper but your build quality is on another level hope to get to your level one day looks awesome 👍
No doubt about it - just practice plus a touch of RUclips tuition
Wow, exceptional, Stuart you are a genius! Thank you for sharing this idea
Thank you, no problem
Never heard of the channel before. Instant subscribe after that intro 😍
That looks absolutely brilliant I love it.
Only recently came to the channel and by far it is my favourite channel I’ve ever come across thanks a mill!
Glad you enjoy it!
I have been wanting to build one of these for a while now but couldn’t decide on how to mount the kettle. Concrete seems to be a cost effective solution. Nice job and thanks for the suggestion.
Fantastic idea! Going to have a go at this. Looks so good and so practical. Very professional job. Thanks for the idea and your very informative, clear and entertaining videos. Cheers 👍
You are so welcome!
Great project Stuart,do love your channel with useful projects, some comedy and just a little irony.👍👍
Firstly thank you for your time and effort into providing a quality video. I will be definitely using this as a reference when I build a bbq table of my own. Thanks again! Happy new year from all the way over here in NZ, and I hope you're doing well!
Thank you! Happy New year to you and NZ
Outstanding cinematic masterpiece! Definitely going to use this idea!
A real work of art. Well done Stuart!
Thank you
You inspire me Stuart but it’s costing me money 😂🤣😂 love your videos and ideas, your advice how and why is invaluable and is always good, it always works out and allows for greater understanding and confidence in carrying out these projects as well as implementing in other projects. Introduction on this one was brilliant/ amusing. Keep them coming please 👍
Well thank you very much. Sorry for costing you money. I like to inspire so please take the useful tips etc from my vids that suite your situation and run with them. The intro on this one was definitely unique!
This is brilliant! So many different uses. You need to patent this 😁
Seriously, I love the different uses that you can put this to. That’s another project I need to do, to add to the never ending list!
Thank you! Cheers!
Beautiful and most importantly extremely functional.
Awesome, I've been searching for ideas on how to do exactly this. This is perfect for what I want to do. Thank you, you are a genius. :)
I glad it helped
Absolutely superb! Would love to do something similar!
Love it. Got the same bbq this summer so now I have a job to do for next year. Thank you. 👍

Fantastic design, construction and engineering, a really cool and useful thing to have, really impressed, you have a lot of skills and experience, plus all the tools and instruments to boot.
Glad you like it!
Genius, and a proper beer to celebrate with !!
Yes, I had to buy some when I saw them
Simply brilliant!!
Classic!!! TB2 was always best. Great trolley design! Love it!
Thank you - TB2 definitely the best
At first I thought what an overkill to make a heavy trolley just to house this small BBQ. Glad I stuck till the end! Nice versatile design!
Thank you
Top man, love the vids, keep up the creativity!
Again Stuart another brilliant informative video. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Thank you
That is amazing. Top build. Amazing quality as per usual.
Thank you
Very useful set up for Barbeque, well apprted and approved
Great, achievable innovation! I love working with concrete formers, I cast all our kitchen worktops using Rockbond fibre reinforced mix. The only real issue was the logistics of starting off with a 3m x 2m piece of melamine board. Obviously the final weight is a consideration too. Here’s hoping for some good weather for you!
Now thats a major build - 3x2m sheet!?!? you need to put out a video so we can learn form it!
Brilliant!! Please keep'em coming Stu..
Thank you- will do
Utterly brilliant...no more words needed. 👍👍
Much appreciated
First video I’ve seen as a recommendation and instantly subscribed. This is brilliant as is the production on your channel. Very well done sir
Thank you very much!
Absolutely love this and your content. My favourite RUclips find for quite a while. Keep up the brilliant work buddy.

Just like all your videos, very well shot and explained and a great end product!
Thank you very much
That is a lovely build my friend, so glad I found your channel 👍🏻
Good, welcome aboard
Proper job indeed. Great videos PD!!
Amazing! I have the same bbq but not the same skill set to pull this off! An inspiration nonetheless. Look forward to these videos every week!
Thank you. Maybe start with something straight forward and then move to bigger things.
That was simply top notch. Great explications and video editing. BRILLANT
Glad you liked it!
Outstanding work
Thank you very much!

Class project. Your videos are great and teaching me plenty on my journey.

Cracking job, and love the Thunderbird 2 moniker :) Always enjoy these videos whether or not I'm likely to build what you do. Just interesting to watch a consummate pro at work.
Thank you for your nice comments

Great channel, love these videos, and , inspires me to get on with my own jobs. Awesome stuff Stuart, thanks mate.
Thanks. Great to hear! Give it a go!
Cracking job Stuart, its given me a load of ideas for future projects. Thankyou so much. ✌❤ Bob
Thanks and that exactly the aim - to give ideas that suit your own situation etc. Good luck with your own build and I'm sure you can come up with the things that are important to you.
Another great video Stuart, well done, keep them coming
Thank you - will do
That is bloody awesome, very impressed!
Thank you very much!
Your best intro so far & a well planned out little project nice one Stu.
I'm glad you like it.
Great idea Stuart. Another project for me now, to make a similar style trolley.
Go for it!
Proper Job indeed! Great little project. Nice one 👍
Thank you
I'm just putting the final touches to my own BBQ cart built using your method. I've made the BBQ section out of hardwood decking boards rather than concrete. Using stove rope stops the heat transfer from the kettle to the wood almost completely. My challenge is that my BBQ is 57cm, which is pretty large, meaning that the top has to be big enough to accommodate a 52cm cutout. I'm not saying the cart is over-sized, but I've just had a request from the Royal Navy to borrow it to practice landing their F-35's on it. It's a great design and pretty easy to build though, so thanks Stuart.
Brilliant. Finished article looked fabulous.
All finished with a Cornish IPA 👌
A real tribute of an episode
Thanks a lot. The IPA was really good!
@@ProperDIY it's Friday 😁😁👍
