Great job putting this video together as you were installing. Took me 5hrs to install. Hardest part is the orientation of the fabric bc there’s a top and bottom, so my advice to anyone doing research/installing - take your time with attaching the fabric to the roll bar and the front bar. Pay attention to the ends as one side is square and the other is round. Pay attention to how you roll up the fabric and how it dispenses out, making sure the top side is actually on top. The rest is fairly easy with some handy-man skills. Good luck everyone.
Thanks for this video. I am currently installing the 8' awning and got hung up on installing the brackets and just like the other commenter asked do they need to spaced at the ends evenly. Thank you for posting this!!!
So far so good. However it moves a lot when there is a strong breeze. I have a video to help stabilize it in the breeze called "Windproof Your Deck Awning: Adding Awning Stability." The link is: ruclips.net/video/sc8uv2RBCcc/видео.html
Thanks for the great video. Does the distance between brackets have to be even? I guess I have to install the brackets into the studs which are not evenly positioned behind the stucco.
The last thing I want to do is put the awning together (attaching the fabric)..It should be all together.... Attach fabric to Tube Roll fabric over tube Assemble Awning frame Attach fabric to frame Attach Fabric Tube to frame Attach the valance secure the vallance way to much work for me..

No. There is no problem to space them unevenly. In fact, sometimes you need to do that to get the braces on the studs.
Great Job, could you share some insights on how the product has held up so far?

Yes it is a bit of work, but easier than lifting it to the brackets.

That's not my address. I assume they have an awning like mine.
