@@andypaunov8109 I like both, but the new Edge is way better in every way. Although old Edge was lightweight and more touch friendly. For touch I think best browser was Internet Explorer on Windows 8.

Maybe not. He was demoing azure web services. The audience would have been people who were possibly on the fence about buying microsoft's big subscriptions services worth hundreds of times more than using bing for a year.
Maybe higher-ups would have just said "it sucked that he had to do that, I mean, really sucked, but at least he saved our presentation."

That's exactly it, either that, or the device was handled by a few people before the actual demo and failed so many times that it asked for the passcode in order to enable it again.
But I agree, it wasn't a fail. Many people don't realize that. I've seen this same video in other "fail" compilations.

The face id didn’t fail. My phone does that from time to time when it doesn’t recognize a face more than 4 times or when it’s booted up.
I like the ones you don't see here, like the one where Windows 98 went BSoD live on air, or when Steve Jobs was having network issues that turned out to be due to over 500+ base stations operating in that very room!

I don’t think the iPhone X situation with Face ID was necessarily a bug. Current iPhones will still do that after a restart or when you summon the “slide to power down” option. It’s a security feature by disabling biometrics.

The face id one was because staff/audience got to try the iphones before the keynote had started hence the face id was wrong, same with touch id, too many wrong attempts, it asks for your passcode... the iphone did what it was meant to do... lol but the chrome one though
I really thought the presentation for iphone 3 and 4 was edited but some how it wasn't and that is still accurate even on current models of iphones😅😅😅
#2 is not necessarily a tech fail. His accent or possible lisp is preventing the technology from discerning him correctly.

Apple presentations didn't work because of external issues. Microsoft didn't work because it sucks.
I use mostly Google stuff. I'm not an Apple fan exactly, and I do use Windows the most. So I'm not biased when I tell you that you're absolutely fucking right 😂
The guy literally said that the version of edge that's running on those systems is locked down, that means that it's not able to connect to the VM's because there is parts of them which isn't standard consumer version of Edge, where he knew a fresh install of Chrome wouldn't have those protections added into it.

The iPhone one wasn't really a fail. There were a lot of people using the network so It was hard for the phone to connect to the network quickly.
So its a fail, something failed for whatever reason

I think Steve Jobs somehow in a hurry mistakenly got the iPhone of the same model rather than taking the new one after the old one 🤔🤣🤣🤣
Later in the presentation he said they figured out what went wrong, that there were tons of other Wi-Fi devices so the networks were slow. He asked everyone to turn everything off then he gave a good demo lol

Apple 🍎 maybe shows less embarrassment, but at least Microsoft is more honest with costumers... Apple just sells more and more shit and people just don't care and buy it.. at least it's honest from Microsoft to install Chrome, because their browser suck.. Apple is for people who don't care about hardware or software.. they'll buy anything, they just want everything to work and they don't care how does what work.. their consumers just aren't that smart in technology

I'm not exactly an Apple fan, but I want to point out that the presenter of that FaceID simply hadn't set up the iPhone he was using. So the iPhone simply did what it should've done.
EDIT: 2 years later and I can officially say I'm an Apple fan now. Fuck Microsoft.
