Just a quick note. My older MS4 works as shown but the button labels painted on the footswitch had to be changed to reflect the new footswitch labels.
Really cool feature!! To me, the gt40 seens to be the best practice amp in the market.

Thanks for the video, man. Due to I'm not a native english listener I'm still having one principal doubt about the 4 buttons switchfoot, and I want to resolve it because I'm considering buying it, so I hope you have a little time to help me. Basically I understand that you can set up 3 effects in each 3 buttons (lets say I choose button 1-Distortion, button 2-Clean and button 3-Tremolo). Here's my doubt: Is it possible to after using that set up quickly change it to another where the effects are others (for example: 1-Chorus, 2-Flanger 3-Phaser)? I need that function for live giging! I hope I express myself clear. Thanks a lot once again!

Are there any online videos showing how to load and save presets into the MGT-4 footswitch. I am using the GT-100 amp.. Thanks in advance for any info you may provide.
Can someone please tell me how to make the “dub” stop or how to reset the whole loop? Every time I hit the “REC/DUB” pedal it slips over “rec” straight to “dub” over the loop, which lasts a split second, and it keep looping over itself to infinity. All I want to do is start a fresh recording without the previous one.

I love the undo button but it should totally have a redo button so you can decide when to add another sound and when tu pause it

You can “undo the very last thing you recorded”, but how do you clear the previous recordings to clear all recordings? Thank you.

Does the mgt 4 work with the fender rumble 40 amp?
So I just bought this pedal for an extra 100$ and got it brand new and waited for it to be delivered. It says u-3 what’s does that mean? It won’t work I’ve tried restarting the amp and everything
How do you entirely reset the looper to start entirely new sets of loops. Idk how to reset it
Nvm figured it out, you just start a new one. I do this by stepping on Stop (fx4) then hit rec (fx1)
Hit "record" and "undo" to delete the loop and start a new set of loops. Hope this helps.
Hey, is the same functionality available with the new LT40S amp? I've checked the compatible footswitch but it is a different footswitch.
Is there a feature to control the volume of the recorded guitar so when you solo it's quieter ? :)
How do I stop the loop once it’s looping. Mine keeps going even after I hit stop. I literally have to pull out the plug. Turn amp on & off. Clearly I’m not doing it right.

Wonderful demo. Pity they didn't show it to the amplifier before shipping it. I am unable to even switch the looper on on mine, because the menus don't look anything like the ones in this video and don't behave the same either.

I actually have both amps. The Katana 50 and the GT100. My Katana literally sits in my storage room because I hate having an amp that relies on connecting to a laptop. The Mustang allows me to do everything I need from the amp and pedal. Ultimately it comes down to the interface and the Mustang just has a better user interface. My opinion.
The fender gt has a great interface I just couldn’t get the sound I wanted out of the gt it always sounded muffled. The katana the tone I need for my gigs without lugging out my tube combo.
OK so I'm very angry at my self. I impulse purchased the Mustang LT 50. It isn't easy to integrate with any looping workflow and take advantage of the amp modeling feature. Looks like the GT would have been a better way to go. bummer.
Kind of marketing bullshit to sell me a $500 amp with "looper function in built" but then I need to buy a pedal for it tho....like come TF on
Well the $500 is the gt200 which comes with the foot switch
Looks pretty complicated for a 60 second looper, but I guess it would be good for someone with no looper.
I preffer much much more Champion amps, they are bang for the buck
If I play loop stuff on a clean sound first then I will want to dub it with some drive effect would the first layer still sounds clean as I recorded? I can't understand this.🤭

Yes, only one sound exit! It is recorded and all come out the speaker just like listening to the radio.
@@robertb2444 I did try it and it doesn't work.🤪. Because anyway the amp changes the whole sound, it doesn't matter what it has recorded before, it starts play it with the effect I just changed
@@elenka.svaliva2 Wha???!!! That's awful, if that's how it is implemented. Different layers should have different sounds, otherwise it's not proper looping

I sent an email to the Fender support and here's their reply "The proper footswitch for this amp would be the 1-Button switch, P/N: 0994049000. The MGT4 would not be compatible with this model."
So here is what you do with this amp. Get a Zoom g1on for 50 bucks. It has all the effects you need plus a 30 second looper built in. Run the amp clean and you can have a looper that doesn't change loops when effects are turned on. Easy and cheap.
DOn't like this foot switch at all!! Very quirky and erratic.. I get a U-3 error on startup. Fender sent a new foot switch to me, and it does the same thing. Also you can only erase the most recent overdub layer, so if you record a loop and then overdub a loop on top of that, you are stuck with the first loop.. no way to delete it. So that makes it pretty much worthless.

Nah, the LT25 just has the option for a one button footswitch to swap between two presets.
Yeah I realized that and have just been running a looper directly into the input

Found this iny closer brand new bunny chewerd the wire gotta get it fixed. Sucks. But After being abandoned after 18 years my guy went crazy left with mommy and left all his guitars and Amps. So I inherited Dream toys. Time for musical revenge
