This movie isn't making fun of action movies. It's a celebration of action movies! 🥳
This movie was a perfect blend of action and comedy. Of all the movies that needed a sequel, it was this one.
According to an interview, when Jamie Lee Curtis falls in the dance at the end, it was an honest mistake cause she had been training so much that her legs were exhausted.
I really enjoyed the side kick comic relief from Tom Arnold, he was also perfect in his role. Shame a sequel was never made for this movie.
If you like Schwarzenegger comedy then definitely check out Kindergarten Cop
Rest in Peace Bill Paxton. In the first Terminator movie and in Aliens and brilliant as the used car salesman in this movie.

Fun fact. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Bill Paxton (the used car salesman) were in Terminator together. Do you remember when the Terminator has just arrived from the future and walks over to the 3 punks and demands their clothes? Bill Paxton was one of the punks.
This is one of the most fun movies ever. It's not just action and wisecracks. There's so many cleverly awkward moments for characters, too. It gets you more involved.
Bless you Dasha; When the older gentleman was on the toilet while the bathroom was being shot up and you said…”the poor pooper”, I nearly choked on my ice cream. You are priceless!
Oh Arnold can do comedy. I’d recommend “Kindergarten Cop” or “Twins” to watch next. Classic movies.
In every Schwarzenegger movie, there’s a Stallone reference, and every Stallone movie has a Schwarzenegger reference. It’s a running joke between them.
James Cameron doing comedy was more surprising to me than an Arnold Schwarzenegger comedy because after starting purely in action movies, Arnold actually did quite a few action-comedies.

Still amazes me that Jamie Lee actually did that car stunt. This is definitely a movie I wish had gotten a sequel.
"You're fired" is one of the greatest one liners I've ever heard, Dasha! Keep watching these awesome movies. 🎬
I love your reactions to this. You understood how the tone kept shifting and how deliberately over-the-top it was (like a horse chasing a motorcycle.)
Arnold didn’t have the horsepower to make that skyscraper jump to the pool.
More reactors should be like Dasha. There is no need to take 3-4 minutes before you start the movie.
