"The movie, written by Myers and directed by Jay Roach, is smart enough to know the 1960s are funny without being exaggerated. In one sequence, a fashion photographer shoots '60s fashions, and the clothes, which look like outlandish science-fiction fantasies, are in fact identical to costumes worn during posing sessions in Antonioni's BLOW UP (1967)..."

@@nsasupporter7557 That IS fun. It reminds me of how Edna Mode from The Incredible was...cast? I forget who was supposed to play her originally, but when asked what the character was supposed to sound like, Brad Bird did an impression of how he visualized her voice and the woman said, 'that was perfect, what do you need me for?' So Brad Bird just voiced her himself.

21:34 😆 We really did have shoes like that in the '90's. I never understood the appeal, personally. I mean, over the years, we've put a lot of weird things on our shoes and _in_ our shoes. React juice, pockets, lights that illuminate when your foot comes _down,_ lights that illuminate when your foot _lifts,_ it's been a weird ride. 🤷

They eventually made made a movie out of it in 1992 and is hilarious.
