I found it to be the best driving experience - from the comfortable seats, best driving position, and best torque (besides the baby duramax of course) with the 10 speed. There will always be things to gripe about like the awful FX4 suspension (to be replaced soon) but at the end of the day its incredibly comfortable and plenty powerful with decent gas mileage.

Roman here's a little help with your Tremor badge history. The Tremor name was used first on the Ranger in the early 2000's as a street truck package with a significantly upgraded stereo system including a subwoofer. Then the name came back in the early 2010's on the F-150 as a sportier street truck that was not the new Lightning people were hoping it would be. And then of course, in recent times Ford reinvented the Tremor name as an off-road package to slot above the FX4, first on the Super Duty, then Ranger, then F-150.

I would really like to get either a Ranger or Tacoma, but cannot justify the money (yet). Per the comment at the end, I'm fairly certain that all Rangers with the tow package are rated for 7500 pounds towing. Personal taste, even if I had the money for a Lariot trim Ranger, I would buy an XLT FX4 or XLT Tremor. Why? The dash. We have essentially the same dashboard layout in a 2018 Explorer and the multi function display seems great except that the only way to keep a digital speedometer showing is to never use any other mode. If I even switch into manual mode on the transmission, it changes to show a tach and I lose the digital speedometer. In cold weather I have to switch around modes to see a temperature gauge so I know when I can kick-on the heater. From photos I think the XLT and XL trims have a more usable dashboard layout for my tastes.

Agreed. I think part of the problem is that these guys are a bit jaded in that they sit in all kinds of luxury automobiles. I have the 21 Lariat Tremor and it's the nicest truck cabin I've ever been in. I appreciate that the visors are hard plastic rather than cloth so greasy fingerprints are easy to wipe off. Same with the door panels. The infotainment system does everything I can think of it to do and a few more besides lol. I love the the remote start with climate controls activated. By the time I get down to my truck it's warmed up, windows defogged, cabins warm and the ass warmers are going. Honestly my butt has never been happier lol. Cheers

Not sure what you could actually buy one for if you could find it configured this way. Most will have a lot more options than just the Tremor package.

OK, having only a single engine option in the Ford is OK, but you griped about it in the Ridgeline. For the record, the honda makes more horsepower, admittedly a little less torque, but is naturally aspirated and gets better fuel economy than the turbo ford, not to mention the ranger requires premium gas to achieve the epa numbers, and loses 2mpg on regular unleaded. My buddy/coworker bought a ranger last year, we went overlanding together. After my 17 ridgeline rtl-t kept up with him and is a more comfortable daily driver, he is considering trading for a 2021 ridgeline.

If you have the 2022 FX4 A 2” LEVEL, +30 wheels with a set of 285/70/17 actually improves the ride and handling. Aside from gaining custom wheels and bigger tires the Tremor is a better value. That’s right, for 4K they fixed their own truck for you. But how about those seat inlays.. I lost 1-2 mpg and had to remove the crash bars. A midsize truck in today’s market was a difficult decision. 7 months and still happy with my choice.
