They did not live there! The man who was arrested was working for the the man who leased the unit. He allowed the him to stay there while he worked on the flooring. The lady who FINALLY got arrested came to visit her husband while he was working there. They got in an argument. The lady landlord (in red ) and her husband went to check things out because they heard yelling. It went on from there. I am glad they finally arrested that woman. As far as I am concerned SHE was the main problem causing all the problems with her husband and the lady land lord. Of course the alcohol didn’t help any. I think the drunk lady was jealous of the land lord lady that’s why she latched onto her name and blamed her fir everything.

    • @SharylM-se5ku

I think the officers handle this well. The husband wasn’t going to settle down with the wife injecting all the time. He was acting aggressive and out of control. I think he wouldn’t have gotten arrested if he hadn’t approached the boss guy so aggressively. The cops would probably would have just detained him for their safety because he was so aggressive acting and moving around so much while they dealt with the wife. I think they could have arrested her at the point were she was banned from the property and didn’t leave. There was the civil part if inhabitation of the structure mucking up the DV type behavior. I think the wishes of the lease holder ( the boss guy) should have been the one to say if she could stay or not the husband who he was allowing to stay there while he worked. I can also understand why the police would “take” the side of the land lord and witnesses because they were calm and not drunk. As far as the drunk lady was concerned there was no issues ( argument) between her and her husband before. Everything started when the land lady was “ sarcastic “ to her.

Everyone here is right. BUT the person who said it would be just a bandaid is absolutely correct!! It’s a core problem that has been running through families for generations. ALCOHOLISM doesn’t just cause issues with THE DRINK itself. It’s the emotional, mental, and psychological issues that grow from USING ( whether alcohol or drugs!). It’s the craziness that comes from it, the dysfunction. And with that, the programming that trickles down in the family. Are there non drinkers in families like this. Sometimes YES.
I’ve known a family that was severely alcoholic. When all the children grew up, they didn’t drink, and stated… IT STOPS HERE! However, because they didn’t understand that the “stinking thinking” is programmed into us by what we see, hear, and experience as children, and without some serious help, they were still passing that thinking down to the next generation.
So when they had their children, they couldn’t figure out WHY their kids had drug/alcohol issues. “We didn’t raise our kids that way!” Is what I often hear. “We never drank, and we never had alcohol in the house.”
But programming from commercials, ads, magazines, and their friends… ALL showing that drinking makes for such a great time, takes over. And those kids think…, well yeah, alcoholism runs in my family, but that will never happen to me!!
WHAT RESEARCH HAS PROVEN: is that chronic alcoholism, especially in families with generationS of alcoholism, shows that there is a genetic marker we carry. For some people, it only takes 1 drink of alcohol for that marker to turn on. For others, they could drink for years before it turns on. And once it does, it’s got you. YOU cannot control it.
But once that marker turns on, so does the denial. Yes. There are “functioning alcoholics” in this world. Those that can appear fine, and seem in control.
But what people don’t understand… ITS NOT HOW MUCH YOU DRINK! ITS HOW IT AFFECTS YOUR LIFE. And that means your children, your spouse, and everyone around you. But because the drinker is in denial… THEY CANT SEE IT!
THAT is what alcohol does. It’s a snake. And a poisonous one at that. It not only destroys the drinker eventually, but all those around them. For some it happens fast, and others may drink until the day they die.
BUT again, it’s what it does to families. You can say IT STOPS here all you want. Teach your kids the evils of alcohol all you want. Talk until you are blue in the face…., and for a generation or two ( if you are fortunate) perhaps slow the progress. But UNTIL people learn that it’s NOT just a physical disease, but a mental, emotional, social, and spiritual one…. THERE IS NO STOPPING IT.
Ripping it out by the roots as everyone who knows of prohibition, understands that the problem runs so deep, that just taking it away DOES NOT WORK. Humans always find a way to get what they want.
It’s TEACHING, reprogramming by dealing with the mental, emotional and physical issues, and trying to turn a world around from the idea that A simple little “drink” never hurt anyone. ITS KILLING US ALL in many different ways. As individuals, as families, and as a nation.
ALCOHOLISM for many, is their legacy.
I speak from my own experience. I did not drink, because I saw what it did to my families. I chose not to have children, because deep down inside, way before anyone had a clue, I KNEW I had crap genes. I DID NOT want to pass the issues on. I did not want to bring a child into a world that hurt so horribly bad. But I watched siblings with their children. And their struggles to help their children understand. Did any of them ever get any help for their children? No. Because although no drinkers themselves, they still had the “stinking thinking”, and the old fashion belief that a person just needed to toughen up, fight it, and live a clean and sober life. They DONT GET IT. And never will. They alway thought I was full of crap. And ridiculed me for refusing to have children “for such stupid reasons.”
Now I sit back and watch them all struggle. I cannot help them until they learn to help themselves.
Those of you out there who have gone through this, and have either the understanding, or an alcoholic who is now clean and sober, will know what I’m talking about.
UNTIL THERE ARE PROGRAMS ACROSS THE BOARD, that cater to those with generations of dysfunction due to alcohol/drug issues…., there is no hope.
And thus, as they say… all you can do is take it one day at a time.
Best wishes and blessings to all who are fighting this difficult monster. I wish you some peace, success, and serenity in your journeys.

If the supervisor were there from the beginning I don’t believe it would’ve escalated to this degree. If supervisor would have been their from beginning this would have been a whole lot difference in outcome. That officer who used taser really needs to find another career honestly or get more training to how to deal with the public because both of those individuals were originally in their house and that lady walking in the house owner or not it was wrong and the video clearly shows there was no danger . I'm 55 and used to drink alcohol, quit on 1/1/24. Although, I was a "fun drunk", and, never had a DV situation, alcohol is bad for so many reasons. And, if 2 people, especially a married couple with issues, are both drinking, it's a recipe for disaster.

Congratulations on your sobriety! Good for you! I was also a "fun drunk," but knew that continued drinking would eventually ruin my life and my marriage (the marriage ended anyway, but not because I stopped drinking). I will have 16 years in July, it's well worth the loss of some "friends." Watching videos like this has kept me on the wagon! I wish you much love and blessings as you continue on your path of sobriety!

People need their mind their own damn business and quit calling the law on folks. 0:14
When are people ever going to realize that calling the police will never help any situation? Cops are only going to make things worse and escalate the situation.
That female cop had no legal right to tell that man where he had to go. 5:08 This is America. The land of the free. That dude was on private property and wasn't committing any crime. Besides, police officers have no jurisdiction on someone's private property. Those people should have told those cops to leave their property and they didn't immediately leave they could be charged with trespassing. Never, ever talk to the police. Exercise your Fifth Amendment right to remain silent and don't talk to the cops. We have constitutional rights in this country.
I'm so sick of cops thinking they can violate people's rights and bark out illegal orders and think that we have to bow down to their stupid demands. Law enforcement has no authority over a citizen unless they've broken a law by committing a crime or have committed a traffic violation. Which neither was the situation in this case.
More people need to learn their rights and quit allowing cops to violate them. Oh and come on, people, quit giving up your 4th amendment and stop giving up your ID so easily. Cops can only demand your identification if you've committed a crime. But that lady gave up her ID immediately without any questions asked. 0:39 That's just stupidity on her part.
