I take it what happened is that every time this guy goes into the chiropractor he talks about being able to pop people's back. That's probably something that he's done for a while so he tries to make conversation with her and he always says something like hey, let me show you how I can do it. I want to get into chiropractic eventually too. I have a good touch." ... And then it went on from there. But that was probably just his attempt to get to touch her and he'd probably rehearsed what he was going to say if he got in trouble too
She did give permission. At 0:18 and 2:30 she clearly says, "He said I am NOT going to touch you and I said NO". At that point the double negative rule kicks in.
We were not in the room. We have no idea what happened. He was found innocent in a court of law. It was poor decision making if it happened, but it's not necessarily predatory behavior. A lot of people are just dumb.

@@cruisinguy6024noooo, I think given the appropriate situation most officers DO know how to sympathize with a victim and also keep them comfortable and safe feeling, they’ll usually call for a female officer as they can feel safer for said victim and can also sometimes know where they’re coming from better than a male. for the most part, not always, but I’ve seen it more often than not, yeah some of them are evil garbage humans with power tripping attitudes but they’re still human and most recognize how to treat someone who has recently been victimized. Again, not always, but I do consider this a thing that happens more than it doesn’t.

Any good detective will try to come off as kind of obtuse at first, like they're going to possibly believe the perpetrator and get them to trip themselves up. THANK YOU SO MUCH to the officer who talked to the victim. 🙏🏼 He realized after a minute that he was towering over her and that she was nervous, so he created more distance and sat down. It's such a valuable skill to read people the way he does, especially when dealing with people who've been traumatized. I'd send him flowers if I could! 💙 when the doctor told him how large the suspect was after that.... 😢 I hope she's on her way to healing. 💙

My hospital has 2 signs in every patient room saying “you will be charged with a felony” and they follow up on that. My hospital is one of the exceptional ones in that regard.

If you are an older guy please leave 18 year old girls alone. When I was that age I had so many men old enough to be my grandparents cross lines with me. Whether it was making uncomfortable comments about me or touching me without my permission it was gross and if I stood up for myself they would act as if I were in the wrong. It made me feel so gross. No one should have to deal with that and young women are so vulnerable as they figure out how to navigate the adult world.
One time I had my ass slapped by a regular customer while I was walking into work. He was in his 50s. I was 22. I flip around screaming at him and he all of sudden is the victim and I'm over reacting. Because it's "not a big deal"

Officer did a great job interviewing the victim when she started to become unsettled he brought himself down to her level and spoke with a soft and sincere voice with the woman. Despite your emotions you're wrong, and the officer explained why it's not. Unfortunately, there's no physical proof of injury, and that is the difference. In the end, this ends up being a he said, she said scenario. It sucks, but that's what the law says.

We raised 3 girls and taught them they don't always have to be polite. Girls are taught to not hurt feelings and be nice. We taught ours if anyone touches them in any way uninvited they should say, I know i don't present myself as the type of girl that is ok with you touching me like that or speaking to me that way. Don't do it again. Their dad also treated me and his mom and sisters with respect. That's the best teaching tool there is. Boys should be taught too that it's OK to have boundaries for themselves. Also told my girls that grown ups aren't always right either but bring it to me and I'll handle them.

It depends on the state, but most statutes define sexual assault as requiring sexual contact (usually involving the genitals). Grabbing someone's breasts may not be sufficient in their state, but that all depends on what their statutes and case law say

That's probably something that he's done for a while so he tries to make conversation with her and he always says something like hey, let me show you how I can do it. I want to get into chiropractic eventually too. I have a good touch." ... And then it went on from there. But that was probably just his attempt to get to touch her and he'd probably rehearsed what he was going to say if he got in trouble too

@@cruisinguy6024noooo, I think given the appropriate situation most officers DO know how to sympathize with a victim and also keep them comfortable and safe feeling, they’ll usually call for a female officer as they can feel safer for said victim and can also sometimes know where they’re coming from better than a male. for the most part, not always, but I’ve seen it more often than not, yeah some of them are evil garbage humans with power tripping attitudes but they’re still human and most recognize how to treat someone who has recently been victimized.
Again, not always, but I do consider this a thing that happens more than it doesn’t.

THANK YOU SO MUCH to the officer who talked to the victim. 🙏🏼 He realized after a minute that he was towering over her and that she was nervous, so he created more distance and sat down. It's such a valuable skill to read people the way he does, especially when dealing with people who've been traumatized. I'd send him flowers if I could! 💙 when the doctor told him how large the suspect was after that.... 😢

And the dramatic show of “back cracking” has both paralyzed and killed people, many cases.
Chiropractic is known mostly in the US, and exists mainly due to aggressive advertising for new services and customers (such as recent pushes for parents to bring babies in, or pets). It is not evidence-based, like actual medical care.
It also has a long history of scams, like the magic magnetic bracelets pitched on Shark Tank by a chiropractor who used a positioning trick to make it seem like the bracelet makes you “stronger.”

If you are an older guy please leave 18 year old girls alone. When I was that age I had so many men old enough to be my grandparents cross lines with me. We raised 3 girls and taught them they don't always have to be polite. Girls are taught to not hurt feelings and be nice. We taught ours if anyone touches them in any way uninvited they should say, I know i don't present myself as the type of girl that is ok with you touching me like that or speaking to me that way. Don't do it again. Their dad also treated me and his mom and sisters with respect. That's the best teaching tool there is. Boys should be taught too that it's OK to have boundaries for themselves.
Also told my girls that grown ups aren't always right either but bring it to me and I'll handle them.
