Report:
On 01/09/2022, Officer responded in reference to a battery. Upon arrival officers met with the victim. She stated that her boyfriend had struck her the morning of.
The victim stated that she didn't report it because she just wanted the suspect gone from the residence. She also stated that enough was enough and that she was tired of being abused. Victim stated that she had bruises, scratches, bite marks on her body and injuries to the inside of her mouth from today and leg bruises from pervious times where he had abused her and left bruises. Officer observed the victims body and took pictures of the scratches, bite marks, the injuries inside her mouth on the side of her left cheek.
The victim stated that they had gotten into an argument about taking the trash out. She stated that's when the suspect started to get agitated with her, and started to make claims that his mother was belittling her. The victim stated during this time he had grabbed her up underneath her jaw, causing her to bite through the inside of her cheek tissue. The victim stated that the suspect tossed her around before going to grab a knife. The victim stated that he grabbed the knife and threatened her stating "I'll k*** you", "I'm only trying to protect you from my mother". The victim stated that she managed to get the knife out of his hand by using all the strength she had left.
The victim stated that after tussling with the suspect that his mother had arrived to their residence to pick her up to go grocery shopping. The victim stated when the suspects mother knocked on the door, that the suspect had swung open the door and told his mother that she was coming. At this time the suspects mother had made a statement that once she came to the door and her son swing the door open like he did, that something had happen before she got there.
Both the suspects mother and Father were on scene with the victim.
Victim also stated that the suspect abuses her when she denies him s**. That the suspect forces her to have s**. The victim stated she works 12-hour days and is tired when she gets home and doesn't want to engage in s**, but the suspect would threaten to hurt her if she doesn't. The victim also stated that she doesn't feel a connection sexually with the suspect, and that's one of the reasons why she doesn't engage in sexual intercourse with him. She stated that she has messages on her phone where the suspect has made numerous threats to her if she didn't have s** with her.
The victim stated that the abuse has gotten worse over time and she was ready to get out of that situation with the suspect. They have been dating for 7 years and have 2 children together.
The suspects mom stated that her son has also been very abusive towards the victim.
Officers asked the suspect about what happened between him and the victim. The suspect stated that nothing happened, and that him and the victim was just going through a little dispute, but it wasn't nothing. The suspect kept stating that they go through this a lot and later on they would make up and everything would be good. Officer asked the suspect about the bruises on the victims body, and the suspect stated that they always played around and play fight. The suspect while speaking to officers kept attempting to go back into the residence. He was told by officers not to go back into the residence while being interviewed by officers. The suspect was detained until officers were done with investigating the alleged crime.
Suspect was transported to county jail and released into their custody with no further incident.

Battery family violence: Guilty plea
Simple battery family violence: Guilty plea
Disorderly conduct: Guilty plea
Probation: 12 months
Special condition bond: $10,000
Special conditions of Bond: Stay away, from the person, home, job and school of the victim, Do not have harassing, intimidating, threatening, provoking or violent contact with his victim, Do not return to the home.

It is wholesome to see the subjects parents supporting the victim instead of ignorantly supporting their own child. They stand on the truth and that shows character

THIS is how family should act! It doesn't matter who is blood, a victim is still a victim, and those grand babies deserve to be protected and supported.
Jumping on top comment to explain an error in these officers understanding of the law. While it is possible to get a conviction if the victim doesn't want to pursue charges, it becomes much harder to convict the person.
Generally officer testimony about witness statements qualify as hearsay. Statements made by the victim or witnesses to law enforcement officers during or immediately after the incident may be admitted under exceptions to the hearsay rule, such as "excited utterances" or "present sense impressions." The important part is the may. The suspect could create doubt about the truthfulness of the statements at the time and they might end up inadmissible in court.
The officers shouldn't lead those people to believe it doesn't matter if they don't want to press charges.
The mom had a TPO against the dad and 2 weeks later he took his wife’s life and then his own so now this young woman doesn’t have that support system any longer.😔

Son is an abuser just like his dad. Shortly after this the moms life was ended by the dad.

Even when you come from a good family sometimes people just turn out bad. His parents are good people for holding their son accountable and helping the victim.
Apparently they weren’t as good as a family as they portrayed, the father was also an abuser who took his own life along with his wife’s after she took out a TPO on him. It’s not hard to understand why the son turned out the way he did, I just hope that the girlfriend didn’t take him back before the same thing ends up happening to her 😢

Great parents! They are the definition of good ppl. If it weren't for them, the victim probably would never come forward, and the children would be in danger too.
The Mom got a TPO against the Dad and 2 weeks later he took her life along with his own. I just hope the young lady has a good support system to get through her own situation along with this horrible loss and that her boyfriend doesn’t end up doing the same thing his dad did 😢

I watched this already a while ago on another channel. I will repeat myself to say these parents were probably devastated to “turn in” their child, but they did the right thing and I respect them for that. I hope they keep supporting their grandchild and his/her mother. 👍🏼

It should be a security measure they have no idea who's on the line or who msgs are being sent to.

He had nothing he could really say to show in his favor. He couldn't explain away the marks and he knew it. He was desperately texting his girlfriend and his mom trying to get them to save him the consequences of his abuse.

Ik some parents take it too far, but physical contact is definitely required for some children. Lest they grow up like this. We don't all have the same genes. Physical contact is not necessary. Discipline is. And that doesn’t need to include hitting kids unless you’re just a lazy parent.
