Flight Review: Qantas QF10 (LHR-PER) + Qantas Lounge London

- Here it is, the start of my videos from the Australia Tour I did in November 2023, and given it was my first trip to this country, I figured QF10- the first and currently only direct flight from the UK to Australia was the ideal way to start off this once in a lifetime trip!
To make things even better I was able to purchase lounge access to the Qantas Lounge at London Heathrow (T3) and I was surprised to luck out with Boeing 787-9 VH-ZNJ being my ride that day, this Boeing 787 wearing the "100 Years of Qantas" livery, which marked the airline's centenary in 2020.
So how did this 16 hour flight experience do? Well come fly with me and find out!
I usually like a window seat but I think for such a long flight I would go for an aisle seat so I could move around a few times freely

Didn't have too much disruption from any of the youngsters on board apart from during taxi/take off. I had headphones in quite a bit on this flight.
Wow some flight that! I'm still amazed it's possible. I think I'd rather watch your video of it than do it myself all the same :D
There'll always be those who will keep the stop overs going, but I think Qantas has something special going on here with their direct flights. Really hoping "Project Sunrise" comes together in the future!
@@JettTyler17 I had never ever flown. I had the chance of a life time to go to Australia on this 17 hour flight ok was business class. Gosh simply loved it. Would go again in a moment. The only thing about flying I did not like was the plane does a slow taxi out then suddenly they get permission for take off. Holy Moley we shot up in the air higher & higher like a ruddy rocket.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
That was a beautiful take off! Also we were a little surprised that Qantas offer lounge access for £55.
Really pleased you got to see you though. As for the food did the starting meal not come with a dessert?
Bet you were glad to arrive given how long the flight is. We recently did Malaysia via a Doha in economy. Planned to enjoy the day then slept for 12+hrs 😂

Glad you enjoyed it, they did the ice creams a little after the main meal, might have been to stretch the service on this long flight so the crew didn't do everything at once then sit around for several hours. They also did a few tea/coffee round with Tim Tams as well.

I had never ever flown. I had a dream chance to go to OZ. I made the journey 6th November 2023 could it have been the same flight?. Once the plane tax'd along the runway then it got its permission for take off holy moley the plane shot up in the air so fast so noisy felt like I must be on a ruddy rocket. Flight was brill just under 17 hours. Had the best month ever in OZ. Love the country loved the people loved the beautiful places I saw. Was on the Dreamliner non stop LHR to Perth. Am doing a kind of journal photo's writing so I never ever forget my trip will never be able to go again money wise.
Glad you got the chance to do it! Big projects like that never will never be forgotten! If it was a midday Qantas flight from London to Perth, you'd have done this flight!
One flight where Business Is well worth It.
But If I must ask: Is Qantas economy better than Singapore. I would tend to say no myself...
I will refrain from comparing as I haven't flown Singapore Airlines myself yet. But the Qantas economy class ticked the boxes for me personally, but I would be keen to try Singapore to see how they fare up.
