I take my hat off to all Pilots around the world, when they are flying these Planes the People put their trust in their hands to get them safely to their destinations God Bless them all❤
I agree with you so much! They have my utmost respect. They’re like the doctors of the sky to me because of the huge responsibility they willing take on to keep everyone safe and alive. ✈️♥️😊
Honestly, I have a deep fear of flying. Anytime there is turbulence I am freaking out. But watching these videos and seeing the level of calm, confidence and control puts me at ease. I have so much respect for pilots.
Hey Eddy. I do have the same feeling when I'm traveling but, I try to sleep to calm myself. It's the safest and fastest way to visit destinations and saving a lot of time.
Hey Ed, if it makes you feel better.. When you’re 30k+ ft in the air you are a million times safer than if you were driving your car down the road. The turbulence you feel, is like hitting little pot holes with your car. It is perfectly normal and the planes are built to withstand A LOT and I mean A LOT more than some turbulence. You’re in good hands in the air, friend. Happy flying!
Eddy, just look at the stewards/cabin crew and how relaxed they are with flying, including turbulence. That shows you how safe they feel- always a reassuring glimpse if there's any doubt in my mind. Also remember that there are folks that take regular flights for decades (my Dad did) and for them, it's literally like taking the bus. That always put it into perspective for me :)
Wow,the sound of those reverse engine thrusts are amazing with earphones on.You can almost feel it.This is the closest you can get to the real thing. What an insight.Excellent. These guys and gals deserve every cent they get and then some. Our lives are totally in their hands with no room for error between gates, with the help of their eyes in the sky,the control towers. Outstanding professionalism to all involved.Well done!
I am not a pilot but used to love flying the PMDG 747 in Microsoft Flight Simulator. It was such a graceful aircraft to fly and as long as you knew what you were doing well in advance it was straightforward. I loved the Kai Tak approach with the right turn at the checkerboard. I even wrote some voice recognition software so that I could command my virtual first officer while I had the controls "Flaps full", "Landing gear up/down" etc.
I have flown the checkerboard mountain approach in the B747. It was a very interesting approach, but again, so was the approach to Pago Pago, American Samoa.

Captain, once again, thanks for sharing a small part of your world with us!! You are both so professional and classy to watch and listen to!! Always enjoyable!! Bless you always in your travels!! 💕✈✈💕🙏🙏
Great job by a great crew. One point by a retired pilot . Don’t be in a hurry to grab the nose wheel steering. You have a giant rudder back there which is very powerful right down to 60 knots and rudder pedals usually have some nosewheel steering ability(7 degrees on plane I flew.). The nose wheel steering tiller will bite you in the ass on a oil slick turn off or crosswind and will start sliding instead of turning and can even peel off your nose tires if allowed to slide too much.
My father passed away this July 4th 3 years ago in a car accident. The pain one feels as a seen is overwhelming. I pray for you and your father. There is nothing more powerful than a father and son bond. God Bless
Has anyone noticed that the captain had the Flight Director off (which tells the exact attitude the plane should be at, shown by the magenta cross line) and did a raw data approach. WOW what a chad
Well another beautiful landing as always, I always flew in at night. Just as beautiful during the day . Good to see you doing well. Definitely the King of the sky. I really love watching because your always learning something knew or seeing from a different perspective . I really appreciate you Captain Boeing. Be safe and take care 🙂
It's nice to see you again captain, ever since I saw you land in to NORWEGIAN WOOD lol. I used to live on long island for 4 years, so I'm happy to see the video this time too.😄

I once got this once in a life time opportunity of flying in a Kalitta Air B747 cockpit from Kandahar to Bahrain . The Pilot was so cool , the crew were all American . They made me feel at home . Can’t forget the day when the Captain gave me a tour of his cockpit up in the air . Great plane . Great People .

So do I. If you are on a flight where you can listen to the tower and the pilot it helps because you know what is about to happen!

@@thomas3816 exactly!! One thing I remember being told is that the plane WANTS to fly - you can actually feel that once you know it.

Once you hear “10…5…” you know it was the smoothest landing possible, great job Captain!
Hearing "5" is depending on whether or not the company enabled it on the aircraft, not because of his rate of descent.
