@@WayCoolDog Why do you make the bold remark 'There is no one better, smarter or superior than Captain Boeing'? Are you saying that there are actually no other pilots in the world that have the same attributes as this pilot?
@@sailorman8668 - Of course many pilots do have these same attributes. I’m saying, in my eyes, there is no one better, no one smarter and no one superior to Captain Boeing.
As a person that doesn’t get to fly very often (haven’t been on a plane since 1994) it’s amazing to see landings and take offs. Thanks for taking those of us that never get to go anywhere on your travels 👍.
This aircraft just mesmerizes me every time I see it . My first 747 flight was around about 40 years ago . And now shes a museum piece back in south Africa. Greatest civilian aircraft ever in my personal view .
As smooth as changing from second gear to third gear. Superior pilot, superior airplane, superior landing. Captain Boeing always engages in the best landing ever because he is a superior pilot and anticipates any problems that may arise. An under prepared pilot is not prepared for all potent problems. Captain Boeing is always ready for ANY possible situation in the landing sequence. Love him today and always.
I still remember the first publication in a Dutch magazin about the 747. I was in love with this plane and still am. I live close to Schiphol airport and still they come over. So Beautiful to watch it.
You see these two in the cozy little cockpit looking out the little window then you realize HOW MUCH AIRPLANE IS BEHIND THEM !!!!!! DAMN !!! good job !!!😁😁😁😁😀😀🍺🍺🍺
this is a fabulous camera angle..because you can see the flight deck much better and also you as the captain...this is FABULOUS...so so good to see you my friend..Blessings from the Caribbean
It was in the 2nd half of the 60s, I read about this majestic jumbo. Since then I have taken the jumbo flights ✈ on many occasions to traverse the world. Always it has been very comfortable and great flying with the 747s.
Always loved the 747-400. Flew on it once (Delta) to Japan In the late 70’s I use to love to go to the parking lot near SFO and watch them land with their distinctive engine sound
Awesome scenario!, controlling a gigantic machine like this in the sky?, humans are fantastic. Wish you very safe and successful operation and wish we passengers excellent flights
Fantastic video. Thrilling. Brings back happy memories of my aviation days. Amazing how much movement is in the joystick even at 10 feet for a perfectly adjusted landing. So smooth. Thanks flight deck! Liz
Great video 👍 super camera angle to capture all the action whilst landing, super exciting & what a butter it was too 👌 very best wishes to you dear Captain 👨✈️🛬👍😊
I have been binge watching anything that has to do with airplanes for months now. It takes a special kind of person to even have the nerve to WANT to transport people, let alone knowing that their lives are in their hands. Pilots deserve more respect than what they get. I certainly appreciate the crew and tell them so if I have a chance when disembarking, they got me there safe!! Taking another trip soon, can't wait because I love to fly!! Props and kudos to ALL of Pilots and Co-Pilots (even the cabin crew for taking shit off of people, you don't deserve that either)
In May 1970, I worked at JFK, loading food into the galley's of commercial airplanes, on the midnight shift! Then, my boss told us that we were to go out to the field to load, for the very first time, a new aircraft, the gigantic 747, dwarfing anything before it in size! When I first saw this 'behemoth", with the lights on it, was like somehting out of a movie & I thought, "How could anything this big, get into the air?" I was astounded with the interior size & loved the spiral staircase leading to the second floor lounge! It was quite a sight!
I rarely fly but a couple of times once the plane had landed everyone stood and applauded the pilot/copilot just to express 'thanks for the safe trip'....... very cool!!!
For all it's mass the 747 is very buoyant. It took a while for pilots to get used to this. It can also perform a perfect auto-land. It was my favorite aircraft to fly on. Triple redundancy systems, plus 4 engines. Briefly the flight engineer inputs the flight plan waypoints on the keypad and it pretty much flies itself to it's destination.
The best bedtime videos, thank you for sharing!! (for a former ICAO-licensed Aviation Ground Operations Supervisor and Airport Gateway Operations Manager)
