I also like the fact that you don't mind been seen having a drink in your videos. Most of the rest either hide that or seem to think accepting the offer of a decent glass of decent champagne or wine is something somehow "unacceptable" which will tarnish their videos.
      So, "Cheers Mate"

Okay, this is one year later, Dennis , in early October 2020, after 8 months of non flying. I cannot help but notice how rightly positive this review is, like most, if not all your reviews. To fly is a positive experience, regardless of some of the shortfalls, as travelling is privilege and a joy which if shared with likeminded people is a delight. Note your videos with Jeb and the Wollongong medio Paul, which I reckon have the same message: enjoy while you can and thank the people who look after you in the air as they are working whilst you are not.

    Good morning Dennis,
No I wasn't brought up in Australia in the 70s and 80s I was brought up in the UK in the 70s and 80s, and sadly, I am all too familiar with Skippy the Bush Kangaroo. In fact when I am walking with my dogs that annoying earworm of the theme tune often comes into my head! Great video Dennis, keep them coming. I don't get a lot of chance to fly, so I have to enjoy the flights along with you.
    Cheers, many thanks.

I really like Dennis Bunnik's trip reports. Two big reasons: No 45 second long take-off rolls and the shots of the menu's are kept at the end so you can exit if you're not interested in that detail. The result is a crisp and informative trip report. And - from as far as I can see - pretty honest too. Not waxing lyrical about every flight as if it was the best ever (are you listening, Sam Chui?) Keep it up Dennis!

Sony mirrorless 4k cameras film much better in-low-light than your current Panasonic HC-VX1 and (the Sony) has an external audio port to put a 'Rode external Mic with DeadCat Cover' for better audio. Did the Perth - LHR back in Autumn, and was looking forward to seeing how it was.
Very popular flight I gather and I ended up in an Economy middle seat. But didn’t think overall it was too bad. 105kg & over 6 foot. Got out for a stretch and took in the fluids.
Very sensible and substantial main meal. Fell asleep approaching the Southern tip of India, and awoke at the other side of the Middle East.
Landed at LHR during a quieter spell, before the rush hour, and it felt an extraordinary experience disembarking having done this Journey non-stop.
This is the way to go…

    Hi Dennis,
You are absolutely right in your analysis of this flight. Wife and I flew this Melbourne to LHR last year and returned after seven weeks the same way..absolutely brilliant compared with BA, but we agree on that. My measure of excellence is my wife who is not a geek flyer like I am, but she adored the whole there and back experience with Qantas. The biggest eye opener for us was the transfer lounge in Perth for business class travellers: laid back, welcoming both ways, showers, food and a BBQ if one felt like it. Next step... for me a direct sunrise flight back to Amsterdam from Melbourne. I do like the way Qantas tackles the so called tyranny of distance, hopefully with a future purchase of the A 350.
Do you have any comments on the LATAM departure from OW. It will stuff our trip to Buenos Aires in Feb 2020 ...need the SCs to maintain my P membership. Love your work, Aussies pyjamas style

Not to bad. You have to mention that Qantas business isn't the worst product in the sky. Qantas collected so much long haul experience over the last 50 years that this is the result. Now even the technology fits ( 787-9 & later the A 350-1000 ) . I really like Qantas a lot although i never had the chance to travel in business. But i guess i am the only German who traveled with all 3 ( ! ) Aboriginal 747's in the last 30 years. So. Thumbs up for the roo.

I'm thinking of doing SYD/YSSY-MCO/KMCO (Sydney to Orlando) direct on a Qantas flight - your review here is making me want to fly business class! Well reviewed, Dennis!

Look dick wad, we don't want people moving around and spreading diseases. We want the suburbs locked down, we want state borders locked down and we want countries borders locked down. Only a hater of the Aussies would want otherwise. Keep the borders shut and stop the mass movement of peoples otherwise your children will suffer you piece of shite.

Fantastic video Dennis. Qantas Business Class looks very comfortable. I have a One World Alliance account. One day I would love to fly Business Class with Qantas and collect loads of frequent flyer miles for my One World Alliance account.

Hi Dennis, This is the 1st time i have watched your channel and may I say how professional and informative it is, this has been a good insight into Qantas and how they operate. I am hoping that maybe later this year I will be able to go to Australia for some R & R, and with it being so far away I would go Business Class, I am currently in Middle East Working so not as far as UK but far enough. Thanks again for your review. I have also subscribed to your channel.

You really do entertain us a lot with flying. I am hoping to go on the Qantas 787 one day as well. But I wish I would've had the chance to fly on Qantas' Boeing 747 before it retired. The 747 is my favourite aircraft.

How did you survive 17 hours? Even in Business Class that must be a challenge! As for sitting in Cattle Class all that way, no way ever! That would be a recipe for deep vein thrombosis. Thanks for the review, Dennis.

Get up every few hours, walk through the plane for several minutes and drink plenty (preferably soft drinks). It can't do any harm.

Great video as usual Dennis. I still remember my utter disappointment and dismay the first time I experienced “business class” from Rome to Zurich. Paid a small fortune to upgrade both my mum’s and my own ticket. Never make that mistake again.

When my friend and I went to Sweden we flew delta airlines and we were really happy with it. The flight back to the US was a nightmare, we had a dinosaur of a plane where they still had the ash trays.
