Or find yourself some old seat belts, cut the seat belt off and keep the buckle. Plug them in and the truck thinks you've got your seat belt on. I've got several and I keep them in the center console for when I'm in and out of the cab while on the farm. But I ALWAYS wear the real thing when I get on the road! Good tip here though, I didn't know this was possible. Is it permanent or only for that drive session? Now I need to figure out how to keep the interior cab light and outside corner lamps from coming on when I open the door and staying on for 30 seconds!

A red light came on after three plug-ins plugged it in the fourth time and it flashed but the damn train keeps going off.

All that feature does is chime when rhe seat belt is not fastened. The " KEY IN ignition " will still cause a chime if e brake is on or door is open, Also the ignition itself has a chime if seat belt is fastened, e brake is off and doors are shut. Ford passes me off about things like this. FORSCAN is the answer to deactivating all 4 security chimes permanently. Forscan is badass and saved my truck after a complete lose of data to the PCM. I was able to download factory As built Coding and upload it to the PCM and all modules. Amazing.

Probably a different way of doing it. Check for instructions in your manual for how to turn off seat belt chime
