Life saver! I off-road this pickup, so I'm always changing tire pressure. No more annoying light for something I don't want anyways!
If you find a TPM- light life threatening, i think you have your priorities a bit jumbled.. 😂😂😂
@@mixmashandtinker3266 I said annoying. Simply being into off-roading means your priorities are jumbled.
awesome! Getting one today....Getting some newer wheels without any sensors and dont feel like buying any. THANK YOU
For sure! 😎
This process worked well with my 2010 Edge SEL The Forscan software I downloaded this weekend had a caution about the quality of the currently available ELM327 Scanners, and the warning was repeated when I activated the software while connected to the vehicle. However, everything worked as indicated that it should in this video, the TPM system is now off and the vehicle is fine and absent the annoying message and warning light. Thanks for posting this information and the detailed "walk-through!"
Exactly what I needed to know. I need to do this on our 2015 Edge. Thanks!
Great tutorial. Thank you! I bought the module, followed you steps and it work beautifully.
Awesome, glad it helped! While you’re at it, and have it downloaded.. Check out some of our other FORScan tutorials!
I had to change my instrument cluster. On the truck. It was not 4x4. New cluster thinks the truck is a 4x4 with the wrench light how can i take that iff
That one is probably going to be more tricky. Not sure if you can trick the IC unfortunately
Got some 22's with 35's for my F-250 but they came off a truck that didn't have TPMS so there's no sensors in the wheels. I am not about to spend $200 on sensors plus another $100 to remove and remount my tires just to turn off a stupid light on my dashboard. I'll disable the system myself with my laptop. I check my tire pressures before road trips or towing and when towing I check it at every fuel stop. Made it all these years without TPMS on my other trucks and this newer truck has this feature, which is neat, but not necessary. Now I'll have to try to convince the guys at the tire shop not to sell me TPM sensors when I get my next set of tires. Maybe I'll just take the wheels off and bring them to the tire store and tell them it's for a 2003 F250 or something.
Worked like a charm! I was getting the tire pressure monitor fault even with new sensors installed. I just put on new wheels without sensors so I needed to disable the TPMS function. Thanks for the video!
Absolutely, thank you for watching!
Worked great for 2011 E250. Turned off TPMS.

Good question, actually redownloaded yesterday. You will want to download FORScan for windows.. and the ELM driver also for the adapter.
The software did not work for my 2010 Ford Escape. I should have read the warning on the readout that it was not compatible with my car. The software disabled the entire car, setting the anti-theft locking mechanism on. I had to wait until the next day, and then it started again.
That’s interesting, very sorry that happened. That’s the first I’ve ever heard of that.
I have a 2013 F250 truck that I'm trying to disable the TPMS on. I have the ELM scanner with the MS/HS toggle switch. I downloaded Forscan v2.3.57 which seems to be the most up to date. I have my license key and it is activated on Forscan. I followed the procedure given exactly (multiple times) and it never gives me the GEM/SJB section. Is there something I'm missing or something else I need to do? It seems to connect to the truck and read things fine, it just can't seem to get to the GEM/SJB part. Any help would be appreciated - thanks!
Try reinstalling the driver and try again. If that don’t work it could be the oddball issue I’ve heard on some SD fords (08-14 use the same computer and sometimes the TPMS is a separate feature). If that’s the case - it could be changed in the binary data.. but that’s above my scope.
This process can be used for Honda Odyssey 2012 or just for Ford?
Disabling the monitoring system worked great. Thanks for the video.
Yessir!
Bought the adapter, but vehicle says ELM321 v1.5 not compatible with my 2012 F350. Also I am running Windows 11. What is my next step.
@jimsusanmoon6762 - Just checking, you did buy the "wired" version correct? I have had issues with the wireless version. I would recheck your windows drivers and make sure those are up to date before you buy another. Hopefully this helps!
Anyone tried this on a 2015 Ford F150? (Since he says it’s for most 2009-2014).
I have a 09 F-150 How can I change the tire size my speedometer gives me 5 miles over the speed. Thank you! In advance
In the bodyCM module, there is a section for tire size (mm). It’s a little more involved with some conversions, but it can be done. There’s some good forums on it. Thanks for watching!
I bought the same OBD shown in the video but now that I read some messages this wont disable my Tire Pressure Sensor Fault message in my 2008 F150 v3 5.4 Triton? I don't see it listed in the modules at all.. 😕
That’s a common issue unfortunately, this only works on 2009 and newer as stated at 0:11.
Sorry about that!
For some reason my 2014 f350 doesn't have the gem pull up. It stops at gpsm
Great video! Will the vehicle pass inspection with TMPS disabled (N.C.)? Also, can the rear parking sensor be disabled? 2012 Escape. Thanks
I’m unsure about NC. I know here in Tennessee only certain counties (mainly Metro areas) do vehicle inspection, my county does not. In the larger cities here TPMS isn’t part of it - mainly emissions. However I can’t speak for the other 49. Since it’s public knowledge, I’m sure the inspectors office (DMV, municipality, etc. (whoever handles it in NC)) would be glad to tell you.
I don’t believe rear parking sensors can be disabled. I know in older vehicles it can be turned off with a button. But parking systems became a “life safety” device at some point before rear cameras were mandated by the US govt.. I haven’t heard any success stories of disabling them through FORScan though.
My 2010 F-150 would randomly display TPMS message on a long trip. It would reset after stopping for awhile and restarting. The message would come back on after another lengthy drive. I found out by watching FordTechMakuloco if you have a cheap usb adapter plugged into one of your 12v accessory port it would disrupt the signal of the tire sensor and trigger it. The original TPM still works to this day.
You know, I’ve heard of this.. Something about the adapters interfere with the 400Mhz range and could cause that. It’s also true in some public safety vehicles I’ve seen adapters interfere with UHF radios. So that’s a very valid point.
My understanding with this truck is it was an old Terminix fleet truck. Apparently when they remounted tires on it, they didn’t bother with TPMS. I found that out much later after this video.
Will this work on. 2015 F250 super duty with a 6.7 ? And thanks for all the great videos you take the time to make & share
This SHOULD I’ve heard some issues on 2008-2014 f250’s though.
Thank you for watching!
Great video - I have a 2010 F150 and would like to get the link/website/information as to what tool and adapters I would need to disable my TMPS - thank you and looking forward to your other videos. Ric
Hi Rico, check the video description. All the links you need are there! As always thank you for watching and subscribe (if you haven’t already) to not miss any future videos! -Tyler
Hi can anyone help me I have a 2008 ford explorer and all that comes up is the tire pressure. If I get the paid version will the tps come up.
I’ll be honest, I haven’t heard many success stories on ‘07s and ‘08s.. I think the module is different.
What limited info I’ve heard, Dawn is that it can be done - but it’s more of changing a data string in the ECU instead of a point and click like you see here. Apparently, it can be done - the systems we’re just built different. I know TPM has been around a long time, but mandated in 2007. So the concept was relatively new to Ford in 2008. I know it can be done, just for that year it’s a little out of my scope unfortunately!
RA Community if y’all have suggestions on 2007-08 be sure to put them here, to help!
Work with a 2009 e350 super duty?
Will this obd interface work for 2010 Explorer?
I’ve heard some issues with 2008-2010 ford vehicles. May want to check and be sure on the compatibility list!
This was so helpful for me! I upgraded my tires to some 2021 F150 tearoffs from a guy who added lifted tires, and a lift kit. My new tires are brand spanking new, but they don’t have the tire pressure monitoring sensor inside of them. Super nice to turn the silly warning light off for only 20 bucks.
Same reason I searched and found this video.
Try to do the tpms, the glare in your computer don’t allow me to see most what you are doing,
Before you try this make sure you do not have a USB charger in your cigarette lighter port Because of some of the unregulated frequency settings, the new type…
I’ve heard this also, good point 👍🏻
Hey great video!
Do you know if there is any way to disable the My Key feature in these trucks using forscan?
Thank you!
I believe in FORSCAN there is a feature under service functions (Wrench) to disable MyKey and program PATS keys. Try a little research, I know there is a lot of good content out on it. If you can’t find anything - shoot me another comment and I’ll make a video on it (may take a couple of weeks to come out though).
Before you try this, make sure you do not have a USB charger in your cigarette lighter port. Because of some of the unregulated frequency settings, the new types of us chargers that come from abroad can throw a false tire pressure sensor error. This just happened to me about 2 months ago. I spend hours trying to figure it out until someone mentioned it to me. All I did was unplug the charger and drove around. Code was gone in a few minutes.
Never heard of this - thanks for the tip!
@@RandomAutomotive you got it. 👍👍👍
Awesome tip, Thx! Question: some way to pair electrical foldable mirrors to contact switch(F-350) normally I have to fold the mirror from the switch, but I’m curious if can be automatically fold with the contact switch off and unfolded when the contact switch is on (motor running). Thank You!
@@Hfernandez06 haven't tried the folding mirrors, but I'd like to be able to use them. Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for that. I will look around and if I find good or bad news, I will post it here so it can notify you.

ABS Stands for Anti-lock Braking System. FYI.
Did I say otherwise? Lol
@@RandomAutomotive lol Air Bag System?
Lol no - I said ABS then air bag system.. two different modules and that's how I meant it.. I can see how it sounded that way tho haha
Cant seem to get the activation code..been two days and no email.any suggestions??
It sometimes takes time, especially on the weekends. If not, try again.
2 questions.
I have a 2012 f150 with 2021 rim and tire take offs and can't get them to marry. Will this help marry them? Or just need to disable it?
2nd question. Same thing...but 2007 charger with 2021 rim package. Will this unit work on this situation?
I’d probably disable it. I could be wrong - but I’d say the 2021 uses a different protocol than the 2012 truck understands, so it wouldn’t be able to ready anything outside of the f150 body style if that makes sense.
This unit only works with ford vehicles, but I imagine it Chrysler has something similar it would be the same sort of issue. Hope this helps!
@RandomAutomotive thank you
I just added air pressure and drove around the block and the light went out
That’s true if the sensors aren’t bad, etc.
Great video, thanks!!
I'm tired to see the alert in my 2013 ;)
Awesome!!
A great big thanks! You just saved me a bunch of money and heap of hassle. Worked like a charm on my MKX AND my MKS. Don't need it right now for my MKZ, but I've got it now for when the time comes. THANKS AGAIN!! 😊
Glad it helped!
The GMSJB module is not showing up on my laptop, some of the other forms said that it could be a bad module? Then I’m trying to find out where the module is and nobody can tell me that. Does anybody have any idea 2010 F150 54 lariat
Once you disable it, can you undone it? Can you enable it again?
Yup. Just the process in reverse! I disabled it before this video to trial and re-enabled it for the video.
Hi from Hawaii i got a 2007 mustang GT 4.6L mine is doing this now. So this thing might just have a dead battery in it before I buy anything?
Hi from Tennessee! That’s a possibility, but that means dead battery in the sensor, not the car itself. Most likely that’s it. Which those batteries are sealed, meaning the fix would be a new sensor - or the alternative disable the feature altogether. Honestly though, I’m unsure if this would work in a 07.
@@RandomAutomotive ok thanks
I just bought the ELM327 MS-HS OBD II for the mustang, On Amazon 20 bucks. Thanks for the video.
Is the adapter the only thing needed? Or do I need to buy additional items?
Nope, adapter and download the software and you’re good!
I was able to change the placecard tire pressure requirement using this module, it is not too hard to do. My tire pressures were changed to 55 psi because the load range on the tires were "E". At one time this truck, F150, was used by the Hilti Tool Co. for demonstartions and had alot of stuff bolted to a slide out bed, I can only assume there was a generator of some sort they used to demonstarte their tools on construction sites. That is why they put load range"E" tires on, I guess. none of this can be confirmed. MY issue was that when I went to get new tires I put on standard range tires with a 35# rating, I could not raise pressure to 55, as the max was 51# for standard load range. I had to make 2 changes in 2 different palces using some of the information from this video and also information from another video I found on you Tube from a guy who had a dually and needed to change placecard tire pressures on his dually. Carefully following thes instructions I was able to get my tire pressure Monitoring System working with the correct pressures of 35#. So happy. Oh by the way my 2016 Ford F150 told me that the module in this video was not compatible with this vehicle, it worked anyway.
worked as shown for my 08 expedition, ty
Good deal!
I followed all the instructions for my ford expedition 2009 EL and bought the scanner. I could not find the error code for tire pressure sensor fault. Can anyone suggest what would be the error code for this vehicle. Thank you all.
I know this video is old but maybe its still active. I bought the device as you described. I connect to my 2012 and 2014 F150 and it connects but get a message that the "device isn't for this vehicle and my not work properly". it connects but it doesn't show the tire pressure system on either truck. it shows many other modules. I followed the video to a T. Thanks for any help.
May try to make sure the HS/MS CAN switch is set correctly.. if it is, you may want to reinstall drivers.
thanks. I
will give it a try.
@@RandomAutomotive reloading drivers didn't work but I found it in the BDYCM module. I disabled and it seems to be doing correctly. no more light or messages. Thanks for responding.
Had to pay for the extended license, only $ 12 for one year. My TPMS is now disabled.
Is there an OBD interface that would work with apple ? Don't have a windows based laptop. thanks
FORScan isn't compatible with Mac for this Service procedure. That being said - I know there is a program called "Wine" that allows some windows programs to run on mac... I can't say for sure if this will work, but may be worth a shot.
@@RandomAutomotive thanks!
Right on man I bought one of those thanks buddy.
I'm going to do this to my 2011 Grand Marquis. Fuck TPMS.
One thing I’d keep in mind on that. Those Panther platform cars (although it’s a 2011) are basically built on 1990s technology. Very nice cars, I love them.. but they didn’t get updated much. The last updated computer module came with the 2006 refresh of that design. TPMS becoming mandatory is 2007. So although it’s a 2011, it’s really running on like 06-07 tech. So I’m not sure if this method would work, several users reported issues trying this on 07-08 f150s and similar vehicles.
Oh! That I did not know but that does make sense. Thanks for the advice!@@RandomAutomotive
what download do you use for the Forscan?
See link in video description (latest version).
Thanks for this video! I've been having to press/clear that d*mn tire pressure sensor error for over a year! This worked perfect!
thanks!!!
Perfect Im gonna do it to 2012 F150 it's really annoyed to see TPM light on
If you have a 2018 Ford Expedition, this works. If the Warning light does not go out right away, drive it. I followed these directions and it cleared mine. If it doesn't, it's a bad sensor. I drove mine roughly 10 miles, because the tire was holding air.
I must be the only person who could not disable my TPM for my 2012 F150. All I could do was change the pressure reading. I did not get the same code as you, but I do appreciate your help.
This worked for my 2012 F150, but the procedure within the program was a little bit different. Thanks for the help, none the less. This adapter and program got the job done!
2011 Explorer don’t have gem/sub
I have a 2010 ford f150 lariat when the forscan connected the tpms and hvac does not show anyone have an idea?
Anyway to test all 4 locks on 2014 Supercrewcab? Can drivers door lock be turned off so you have to use a key only ? Thx great video 👍🏻
There are some integrated tests. I’m unsure of one for locks only, but I do know there is an overall test of interior systems. I can do a video on that soon!
@@RandomAutomotive that video would be great, thanks 👍🏻
@@RandomAutomotive I was told that a bad relay in the body control module for drivers front door is the problem, could that be true if all the other 3 door locks work as normal?? Only drivers door has to be locked and unlocked manually.
It could be.. I’m like you - I’d suspect if it was the BCM it would be all or nothing, but.. then again. The driver door unlocks independent (Ex: one click of the keypad, just driver door - two clicks the other three). So I could see how that could make sense. I like Ford, but their modern electronics are atrocious. They’re also notorious for the lock gearbox in the prematurely failing. I had a 2003 super crew that they all failed lol
can you reprogram tire pressures on placecard with this unit, I changed tires and need to reset tpms to new tire pressures
Not in this module, I believe it’s possible altering the binary - but that unfortunately is above my expertise!
I think there's a different process for reprogramming the pressures, something like letting all the air out then pumping them back to the correct pressure and driving over 50 mph for over ten minutes
I ordered and received the same exact adapter for my 2009 F150. Loaded the drivers, set up the free 2-month trial, hooked it up to my Windows 10 laptop, and it wouldn’t display TPMS. It never asked me to switch from HS CAN back to MS.
Ran through this procedure two full times with the same results.
Returned the adapter and bought a different/similar one. Same thing, TPMS codes do not display.
Guessing that somehow .gov has gotten in the way of those and we can no longer disable TPMS🤬
If you have the EXACT ordering info for the CORRECT adapter to use can you please display it before my 2-month FORSCAN trial runs out…?
Thank you!
The exact adapter is in the description. If that’s the one you ordered… Double make sure your drivers on your PC are good. Sometimes that interferes with the operation of the device
Now, can I disable or reset the oil change required message? My stick to reset it on my cluster is inoperative.
Let me check into that. I know you can through the cluster, but not sure about any other way. I'll let you know!
You can usually reset those without external equipment, either through built-in menus if it has a vehicle info/fault screen, or some trick with putting the key in accessory position and either taking a screenshot (hold both pedals down) or pressing the gas pedal a few times and hold on the last
will this work on my 3010 e350 super duty? front passenger tpms will not connect. I have replaced 2x already. the antenna or the module must be bad.
I'm not 100% sure. But, I know alot of the Ford vehicles share the same CAN module's or similar. And being the E series and F series are almost identical, I don't see why it wouldnt!
@@RandomAutomotive Thanks for the quick response! Happy New Year!

Mine doesn’t show GEM, what should I do? Help please
Thanks! It worked like a champ!
Glad it helped!
Where did you plug that into??
The OBD port under the dash (scanner tool hookup) then the other end to the PC
I have a 2016 F250 with the 6.2 and I don't have GEM/SJB as a module. what do i do?? Also, how do i do the email thing? Its asking me for an invitation code at the forum which how do i even get?? did they change the policy?
Yours has several things spelled out under the different modules. Get ForScan anyway along with the cable, hook it up, make a backup of your configuration, then go looking around. TPMS should be listed in the options for one of the modules.
Mine is not showing the tire pressure code at DTC 😩

When I go to register for the Forescan it asks me for an "INVITATION CODE" What's the deal?
I've seen this issue in a few forums.. Apparently you have to do a trial only and not buy a code.. if thats what you're doing they recommend trying a different email.
Will this work on F-350? I notice is says light truck and list F-150 &250
What year?
Wish you didn't have such a bad clare on your laptop, kinda hard to see what you where pointing at.
Wish I could turn off the sun lol
Apologies if this question has already been asked. Can one reverse this change later needed? I may need to turn the system back on later.
I assume you can just swap it back to enabled, but my next question is how expensive is that software after the 2 month trial because my plan is to disable it when I put my winter tires on each year and enable it when I put my regular tires (with sensors) back on
Very helpful. Thanks.
You're welcome!
Does it work on 2023 eu spec rangers? Ty very much!!
Not sure on the EU spec rangers. The redesign may have introduced a new module.
Thanks for this video. TPMS light came on in my 2012 F150 about 2 weeks ago and I know its just a bad sensor battery, cant be bothered to pay $$$ to get it fixed. I check my tires frequently out of habit, never liked or needed the mandated TPM systems. Software is available for Mac, but it has a caveat warning, so stick with Windows if you can. The license came to mhy email within about 20 minutes, so good on them!
Glad it helped. Yeah I haven’t had much luck with Mac machines with it. They’re a great company and get to it fast especially on week days
@@RandomAutomotive OK got it sorted. Had to pay for the license, free "extended " did not allow me access to the modules on my truck (tried several times, several downloads) was only $12, SO MONEY WELL SPENT. Well, thanks again.
Will this work with a 2010 ford edge?
I’ve heard some issues on the ford edge during this process, I’m not 100% sure though.
It seems like it's gonna work, just waiting for the key code. Do you know if the program does mileage correction? I put a new motor in it. Update, Works on a ford edge!
Awesome I will have to pass that along because I’ve had numerous folks ask about the edge.
You may find otherwise on a forum, but I don’t think mileage correction is a thing. (Maybe in the more advance, codes portion). Just because, you know, someone (not in your case). Might buy the thing then sell a 347,000 mile Taurus (if it’s intact) and put 64k on it lol
@@RandomAutomotive They make OBD scanners scrictly for mileage correction, but the prices are just ridiculous. That program doesn't do it, but they say they plan to add it once they figure out how to stop people like that. Thanks again, I hate tire pressure lights, dumbest law ever.
can you adjust idle with this
Based off what I’ve read, not exactly. You can adjust fuel trim to help it run better but not adjust idle.
@@RandomAutomotive thanks, I just went to a garage that dose tuning and increased the idle with a tuner 900rpm in park and neutral and 750rpm in gear, engine runs much smoother now. 2009 f150 5.4 3v had problems maintaining oil pressure for vct system. also went up to a 5w30 weight oil

UPDATE: 07-29-2022... Last night I received the ELM327 adapter you linked to. With it, I got the correct menu with the options necessary to make the change and I just used it to successfully switch my TPMS to DISABLED. Yippee!!! While in there I also turned off my BELT MINDER, so no more incessant chimes when I'm hooking up a trailer or my wife is taking off a jacket with the seat belt not latched.
Next, I'm going to look into programming a new ignition key. I have two but one key no longer works the remote lock/unlock buttons.
Back in my office, I wanted to look at my LOG. I didn't save it, so no LOG to see. Bummer! So that's my little tip... on the bottom of the screen hit the DISC icon and save your LOG. Best $20 spent in a long time... Thank you!!
ORIGINAL POST: So I tried to do it this morning on my 2011 F-150 Eco Boost. It didn't run correctly... The log says "This adapter has CAN bus compatibility problems and can not be used in some functions." I then noticed I did not order the adapter you listed. My adapter LOOKS identical, but it isn't what you linked. I've ordered the one you link to and will try again when it gets here. I fully expect success once I have the correct adapter! I'll post an update... Thanks for this video.
Yeah post a update for sure - for some reason FORScan is VERY particular with what adapter you use. Hopefully the new one will do the trick!

Wonder if it will work on a 07 Ford Ranger?
I'm not sure 100% about the Rangers. It's been a while since I've been in a ranger - so correct me if I'm wrong. The Rangers have a odometer readout on the left lower portion of the cluster - under the tach that doesn't read out anything but odo/trip info. So - no error message, just a TPMS light. Usually on the older systems - It can be done but not the method shown here. You would have to modify the code on the checksum in FORScan - which I wouldn't recommend unless you have a little more experience.
@@RandomAutomotive you are correct. I don't have any tire tire sensors and would like to turn the tire warning light off permanently.
@@pl747 Gotcha. Yeah the method in this video won't help you there. 'Theoretically' it cannot be disabled - however there are some forums to modify the above mentioned code. I'll attach that to the comments thread for you. Just be careful if you do modify any checksums. Also, If you haven't - subscribe, and If I get more info I'll stay in touch that way.

hey man, i’ve downloaded everything got it all connected on my 2013 fx4 f150 and it won’t display gem/sjb? i have far more modules than are displayed on your video but no gem/sjb… i see one other comment with the same issue but you said you’ve seen it with super duty’s which i don’t have, ive uninstalled and reinstalled the driver and still no gem/sjb module? i’ve got the free trial downloaded as well… what am i missing?
I’m going to look into this with a buddies 2013, let me get back with you. I’ve seen a couple of folks saying the same thing. I’m wondering if either FORScan removed it, or something odd is going on in a update
@@RandomAutomotivesounds good appreciate it thanks!
@@RandomAutomotiveany word on this?
I have a 2010 raptor 6.2. Will the same scanner that you have in this video do this function, or is the 2010 year specific. Just trying to purchase the correct scanner the first time lol. Thank you for the walkthrough, I'll be doing this as soon as I get my scanner.
It’s based off of certain modules that Ford placed in the trucks. In my experience 2009 and up is a safe bet. I know for sure it works on a 2010 F150 - so I see no reason that the Raptor shouldn’t work as it has the same CAN module as the Explorer, F-Series, E-Series, etc. So not specific if newer than a 2009 (usually). If that makes sense.
@@RandomAutomotive thank you very much sir !!! Appreciate the write up too 🤙🤙🍺
IT worked!!
Got the module today, opened it up and got to the license extension email back from Forscan in about 10 minutes. Followed this step by step and got the light turned off. Thank you so much man!!
@@RandomAutomotive Anything else you recommend adjusting during the free 2 month trial with these guys?
@@johncolvin2234 Sorry for the delayed response - sometimes replies to comments get buried in other notifications. The only other thing I did so far is disable my Daytime Running Lamps. This truck is a old fleet truck - and it was mandated in Canada and some states to have always on DRL for fleet vehicles, which I hated. I have a video on that in the queue.
How do I get activation code?
Hi buddy , just to like and thank you for the video , I just disable the tpms thanks to you ! just a few hickups with the software but was able to do it ! the activation key came in mail in about 10 minutes .
Thanks! Glad this was able to help. Yeah, I've noticed the software isn't perfect ! But it seems to do the job. Thanks for watching Juan!
@@RandomAutomotive how about the traction control feature ? I hate that I need to incorporate fast on a street and the truck disconnect the traction
@@JuanGonzalez-gs2yz Sorry I didn't see this sooner - sometimes replies get hidden. I don't know of a what to completely disable TC. But I'll do some research for you.
@@RandomAutomotive got it.. thanks again !
Can this module work with sweeping and clearing cluster malfunctions?
Just making sure I understand the question..
Like clearing active warning lights, etc? Yes it can do most of that.
If there is a mechanical or electronic failure of the cluster itself? Not much it can do.
@@RandomAutomotive ok thank you for the information. You answered thoroughly.
not worth the hassle,
Ok
will this work on a ford 250?
Not 100%, I believe it has to be after a 2012 though.
@@RandomAutomotive cool thanks
@@RandomAutomotiveI tried on my 2012 f250 and I had no GEM code under the module
Worked perfectly. Thanks!
Awesome!
Gonna try this on my 2010 CVPI because I'm tired of that stupid process to get the code and light to go away.
Did it work?
@RandomAutomotive yes it worked. Had to fond IC and run the diag and then change the code from 1280 to 1200 and write it. Light is gone completely and I'm glad. Have my own TPMS kit to use that works better.
CAN YOU USE THIS TO LOOK AT THE VALUES ON O2 SENSOR AND OTHERS SENSORS ?
You can - I have other videos on the channel showing how to do that.
