I love when you are both able to clean/repair these metal treasures, love to see what they would have looked like long ago. The dolls eye is huge, and the jet mourning button is one of the fanciest I've seen, gorgeous!

I think one of Gail’s final finds was a tuning key that tightens or loosens the strings of a string instrument. This was a GREAT lark! ❤😊😍

Some fascinating finds. The green marble square looks like it contains the clouds in the sky. 'Crackerjack' definitely used to be sold in English cinemas. It was in a rectangular box and was much harder in texture than the usual popcorn. And there was always a small toy/object in it. Thank you for sharing.
I thought the red berries were beads. 😅 But at least you did find some actual beads. Neat doll's eye. Lots of nice buttons too. Great tiny treasures.

This weeks finds reminded me of my little cigar box of tiny girlie treasures I had in a little pretty room my Grandmother made for me in part of an outhouse to her summer cottage. I'd find little things every summer and some were put on display in a wall mounted drawer oroginally for metal type face letters, others were safely stored in my box with a very pretty south american lady on the inside of the lid.
Shiny, interesting and pretty little objects and old paper bookmarks with pretty motifs were kept in a small album tucked away. Tiny is always special ❤️
Thank you both for bringing us along with you as you discover wonderful treasures from the past. I wonder if our trash will be treasured in the future. I love your infectious giddiness when you find things that you never had making it just as exciting for us as in most cases it is our first time to see sure prizes and then to find how connected we all are through time and space. I know what you do takes perseverance and a steady hand. Thank you for not giving up the thirst for knowledge and treasure! God Bless you Both!
Absolutely great finds this week! I love them all, but I'm amazed by the little tin box that still has the hinge and still works! I would keep something truly special in it. The banjo! The cameo! Thank you for taking the extra time to add all the Halloween ‘cross-overs etc’. Made a great video even greater. Did the doll on the windowsill have a mask on too? A lot of work but a lot of rewards too. You need to take a good picker or long oven tongs to use in the water during these colder months.
