Paint the piece of light bulb to look like a little candle 🕯
You have shown me how you coped with loss - “it’s only so much a person can take”, the need to bounce back - “carry on” and in doing so made real the lives we share as a humanity. Our timing, our mistakes, our lessons learnt. In sharing your organic experiences, I’ve clung on and relished your company, envied your mother daughter time together which to me is the REAL GEM and wholeheartedly wish for you your bucket list finds in the most magical of moments. As for THAT pipe, you’ve tantalisingly glimpsed it and it’s yours in memory. Treasure your time together as I do treasure your time sharing them with me ❤️🩹
Wishing you all the best, you're so right, we only have a limited time on this earth, try to grasp each precious joyous second.
I remember a time when you would take anything and everything home. You have come a long way.
Oh Kate. You are not cursed. My heart was aching when you gave a big sigh during round up when you kept repeating...broken, broken, broken. You did find some lovely things this week. Chin up!
Empathise for Kate in this film. If I find one I will give it to you. Great job as always ladies.
Children in lovely characters traits. Fleur you impress me with your ability to have large collections of all sorts but to keep them organized and clean. Kate around 4 or 5 videos ago just for a brief second I saw a picture of a small Adorable girl with dark curly hair ..I think it had to have been you when young! You 2 are some of the MOST creative people I have seen. Thank you so much for the real blessing your videos have been to me. Hope you find your whole hope list.
Lovely long episode,as far as I'm concerned the more time spent with you ,the better my day
I love the black button it looks like a tear drop😮
With all love and respect, I've decided to call you both 'Mudwombles'. I'm sure Fleur will get the reference and realise its a big compliment. Big love to you ladies from New Zealand - where our short history and low population means there are very few ancient forgotten objects to be found. Thanks for making my day brighter.
So sad that the voice of wombles Bernard Cribbins just left us,a true gentleman..
That opening sequence of the wild flowers and the swans was absolutely beautiful! Sad that you missed out on that pipe Kate; we were trying to egg on the tidal spirit to reveal the pipe again! It just may pop up when next you go there again. All the other lovely finds certainly helped to offset your bad luck.
Loved it when you said we can re build him when you found the elephant, reminded me of the 6 million dollar man
This was such a lovely mudlark i thoroughly enjoyed it. Have a good weekend.
Longer is better. I love spending time with you!
Ho we do like to be beside the sea side happy days away init fantastic times init.from Steven xxxxxxx
I love virtually hanging out with you. Thank you for bringing us along.
The mini cod was an absolute heartbreaker - still cute tho
I'm heart-broken for you Kate. I'm so sorry you lost your pipe. I do love the chicken head though, and you both found many other lovely things. I feel bad that it was because you wanted to film it for us that you lost it. 😮💨 Your day will come though, I feel sure. 😉
I'm sure one day your clay pipe will come and it'll be a magnificent specimen.
Great to see your friends the mudpies are back next week
I love that glass chicken head ! If make an oval shaped shadow box & mount the broken side toward the back & put it on the wall in the dolls kitchen ! Maybe you could use some of the gold sheets & do around the frame to make it pop ! ?
So many wonderful finds. Dont be sad about the pipe sweetie, you shall find one soon. Thanks for taking us along as always.
The blue bowl would make a really pretty lamp shade for the dolls house.
The tiny "Maltese Falcon" was cool and each of you finding pointed jet glass items so serendipitous, Thanks again Ladies
Every time you go there you will be looking for that pipe!
That pretty blue light bulb or insulator thing you found should be a bowl for a bird bath. Your mom found glass like a bird that would look perfect sitting on edge. It just needs a base to it. Maybe a bottle stop upside down.
The piece that Fleur found that looks like a whistle- you could stick a broken dolls leg in it and make a peg leg of it. The sugarboxe's first handicapped doll.
Kate did a wonderful King Kanute impression.
Great mudlark , not to be sad, with great loss comes greater promise.
Your iron cross button, reminded me of a movie I seen as a child, The Red Barron.
THAT SPEAR TIP WAS THE BEST FIND👍😍
Loving the longer length video btw, can never get too much!
What a wonderful video. So many exciting finds. Thanks for sharing.
The elephant looks like a ram to me. Great finds
I know the feeling, there have been many times when I've been scraping and accidentally covered something and lost it! I'm sure because of your determination and mudlarking brilliance some amazing find will be coming your way soon :)
The broken "whistle" looks to be the mouth tip of a cigarette holder. But even that doesn't make sense if there is no hole at the end. LOL
So many heartbreak finds will surely be rewarded by finding the most awesome clay pipe ever. I collect vintage stiletto pocket knives. The mystery item is part of a stiletto pocket knife. Better luck next time!!!
Love from the old lady in Texas God bless you always and forever
You know there will at the least one head pipe there to find now, maybe even a more complete one! I wish you the best of luck next time you are there, and anywhere really.🤗🥰
Wow what a lovely lot of unusual beads today and arms and legs but what a shame about the victoria pipe face. Nice different dolls head and her hair was unusual too. More 1920/30 sort of bob. The metal bit looks like it came off one of those flick knives they used to have. A good haul in two days. Stay safe and don't get stuck in the mud. Loved your ring Kate with the acorn on it.
The black blob looks like the Maltese Falcon.
You found some some wonderful interesting things broken or not. I was wishing the tide to stop, oh Kate your face🙁, good things will come 💛🧡🤎
Big hugs Kate, I am glad that you found some good finds anyway, I am betting that some day you will find whole treasures to replace your broken ones.
I wish everyone was like you!!!!!!
You can sand the top of the tiny cod bottle and make it into a glass vase for the dolls house.
My heart breaks for you Kate. But hold faith, it will happen. Such lovely conciliation prizes in its place definitely makes up for the losses. I applaud the skills mom has while sinking and with a hurt knee! She deserves a ribbon, because I would have fallen for sure. Loved this treasure hunt❤😊
37:49 you hold a bead in a piece of pipe and it made me think of a Robin's egg in a nest🐦. Ya'll should add one to the dollhouse using some blue beads as eggs.
Broken dolls limb halfway thru looks like a tiny salt cellar! Tiny bottle goes in the front yard like a real house with kids.
Kate..hair up-do looked really cute on you.
Hello ladies,
That was a marathon mudlark if there ever was one? But lots of lovely finds, like the pretty green glazed hobby, the chicken head, the round medallion (?) with the initials in the center of an elegant starburst…. But I must have blinked when you were talking about losing a Victorian head pipe ? (just half).
I don’t recall seeing that? Oh well, I’m really tired. I may have closed my eyes for a few moments and missed it.
And I would like to thank you for popping my name in the credits for being a donor to your Patreon account! My husband was just saying you might do that since I just started doing that for you, I looked up and there it was! I was so surprised and pleased! I feel like a celebrity! 😄
My husband said now I’m one of the RUclips stars! Well…. I don’t know that I’d go quite that far, but it’s an amusing idea.
I do hope your mislaid finds resurface for you once again at Gobby Beach! It’s a long shot but not impossible. I’ve seen it happen in other videos. As long as there is life, there’s hope!
Many thanks, Ladies!
Lauri Hyde
Some interesting pieces 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩💖💖
Thank you so much for another wonderful adventure!
I would probably spend hours at gobby beach if I could. The tide would be rising around me lol. Love your vids, they give me so much joy. Thank you my lovelies xx Teresa ❤🇦🇺
Oh gosh, wishing to find something whole and only finding pieces!!
But the fresh air and the sound of the ocean and being with someone you love makes up for it all!!
Stay safe and well girls!
Heartbreaker of the missing pipe, but you found so many wonderful items. Can’t believe how good the bird head cleaned up.
bring a spray bottle maybe? Love these videos! "It's a bead!" is one of my favorite sounds & we say it to each other & giggle. I had no idea mudlarking even existed. The way you put your videos together is so relaxing too!
The strange metal bit after the mini cod bottle is part of a knife from the handle to the blade.
A wonderful lark, ladies! You found so many things that I've never seen before and knew what they were. Thank you for sharing your adventure with us. Take care out there!!
Maybe the chicken head is part of a hen on a nest we have them here in the United States. Don’t you ladies wish you were glass blowers and you could rework that beautiful German marble into whatever you’d like. Thank you for sharing with me while I sit at home and go mud larking along with you all the way from the United States. Keep them coming and I’ll keep watching the videos🤗💜
Great Video. The bird head is aqua glas unbelievable 👍
I love watching you both, you are so relaxing to watch, thank you for sharing your adventures with us all x
I love the glas chicken and the cobalt bead. At the end you did have some luck. I'm sure yo will find the Victoria pipe again.
'
What a beautifull lady. With the same hobby. Good finds to the both of you.
Welcome and get well soon :) We have a whole other channel devoted to miniatures if you would like to watch them, the channels like is on our home page and in the description of this film :)
The chicken head was my favourite another great video
Kate, your black button's cross looks like the Cross the Crusaders had on their Flags!
That one black button has the cross of the Knights Templar on it.
The tide giveth and the tide taketh away....
I didn't even know Codd bottles came in mini size.
Beau Travail🔬🎬🍀Alex France🙏🌌
I believe the "chicken" head is actually a pheasant. Maybe? Yes? No? Great video, ladies!!!! With some AMAZING FINDS!!!!!
Thought for sure you'd find the clay pipe. Oh well.
Great video could of watched for hours ☺️
Oh wow Kate that's so sad not finding your face pipe 😟. Thanks for sharing👍
So many lovely, lovely finds 💖 that head clay pipe will be there waiting for you next time, I'm sure of it 🤩 thank you lovelies
Poor Kate she was so sad. X
Love the swans 🦢 Enjoyed seeing all your bits and baubles from the sea 🥰
Hello 👋 from New York USA you Guy's found Some Amazing Finds my Favorite Definitely Was the Little decorative cut Glass Bottle and the Glass Chicken 🐔 Head Thank you for Bringing me Along with you Guy's I can't wait to see What you Find Next 😊
The bit of hoof pipe that Fleur found is just the right shape for a wall sconce in your dolls house maybe?
I was thinking you should make a black chandelier with the black glass mourning beads and the pointed black glass things you found on this trip. Even if it ends up being a small one, or one for the doll's house, could be cool. Love to you both!!
Beautiful finds! I had a lovely time, thanks
Mystery metal item, looks like the top of a Italian switchblade knife.
Thank you. Everything looks the same colour, I don’t know how you find such lovely things.
I was watching this and I thought... dudes you could make a cool tree sculpture using the pieces of pipe stem you find. The pipe rests look like cut branch stumps.
The black bead is indeed a dagger bead.
The beautiful flowers at the beginning, the swans swimming and the peaceful piano was a perfect start of a fun video. My favorite of your finds was the glass chicken head. To me, the headless dog body looked like a horse. Thanks for taking us with you on your adventure.
So sad about the pipe, too bad you couldn't find it. The mini Codd was a true heart breaker but, you did find some really nice things also. Hopefully your next trip out you will find something truly amazing!
So many beautiful things
Love the cobalt trade bead, and I'm sorry for laughing at Kate's "I'm cursed!"...
very interesting day. nice assortment
Lovely finds, I especially love that chicken head. The aqua color really surprised me.
A wonderful haul!!! Fun to watch - except for the heartbreaking bits...
Very wonderful lark with all those awesome finds even if some are broken 😞
You are the best, the little round object has a templar cross😳
Great finds! The black glass button looks like a templars cross.
Loved the chicken head.
Ya’ll made out like bandits! That highly decorated etched glass perfume would make a fabulous large vase for your doll house!
So many beautiful finds. Sad about the tiny Codd bottle and the head that got away. 🥺
Love you both and watching your videos is awesome
the beach felt bad you lost the broken pipe in the rising tide (me too) and it could only try to appease you by offering you similarly broken but beautiful amazing finds such as the mini cod and the broken lattice marble which I thought were glorious finds! I think your button finds between you two were fabulous!
Hi again ladies! Doing a lot of catch up on my videos! ( : What a beautiful place to lark! ( :
Yay, a doll's arm! Good one. Kate! ( : Oh noooo! Don't get stuck in the mud, ladies! ) : You lost a special pipe?! That stinks! I am so sorry! Sooo frustrating! ) : It may be lost in the tide, say, though! ) : Are you guys on the Thames?
They were at a place they call Gobby Beach.
Lovely finds!
