Ladies your efforts to give us a lovely Mudmas has gone beyond the call of entertainment for us. You’ve frozen all your extremities and then some. We love you and your crafts. It sounds as if the wind will blow you both to a vast frozen place. Thank You 🙏 and God Bless You Always. See if you can use some of your found items, inside , for Mudmas. Please don’t become Two Frozen Charlottes, for our sakes.
I do love the fact that you can find an old bent up ring, unbend it, and say it is what it is and still love it I just think that takes a special kind of person
The metal is a 3 way swivel link for fishing. My parents own fishing tackle shops 😊 p.s the dress hook looks like an old fashioned curtain hook. My Nan had some the same in her tool box
The little piece of lead toy, turned around looks like the front of bird house with a flat bottom, the center hole as the door opening, then the roof triangle on top! Maybe Bitsy needs a birdhouse?
Phew, I felt your stress just watching you un bend that beautiful ring, can’t wait to see it finished in a later time. Across the pond in Australia it’s getting dang hot, I’d swap you. It was a great day down the beach with amazing finds. See you tomorrow 👍👍👏👏💓💓💓🎄🎄⛄️⛄️🌟🌟
Look at you guys! Out there freezing your fingers off while we're snug and warm in our beds! You're amazing! Try putting those coins in white vinegar. It'll probably work better and faster than a potato! The object at 13:50ish is a fishing swivel.
So many interesting finds. The knob on a watch used to wind the watch is the crown. It is attached to the stem which goes into the case of the watch and attaches to the movement. More than you wanted to know I’m sure. The connector which is on the back of a car to attach a trailer is a hitch or trailer hitch.
Hi lovely ladies, the dress hook is actually a curtain hook and I think the three ring things is the top of a baby rattle that had little baubles attached. Much love Sue Gosling ❤ 💙 💛
Wonderfully fun video to watch. Great job on the ring Fleur. Hope you are warmer and enjoying your day. I hate being cold, so I felt for you and your cold hands.
The three prong thing is used in fishing. They tie their lines to each of those eyes that way they have 3 lines for catching fish. I actually use them to hang crystals on then hang them in my windows. It turns on it’s own and sends sparkles all over when the sun hits. They are neat little things!
Oh I feel so bad for your icy fingers, not to mention your bottums from lying about the beach. It looks so uncomfortable, but you look and sound sooooo happy ! Thanks so much.
What's a Christmas tree with out Sunny ? Great finds and lovely bell! So here's a gifty for Sunny : 'Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse 'Cuz the cat had pounced on him and tore him apart - Ate his mousey intestines and chewed up his heart. Kitty thought he heard sleigh bells, which made him take pause- He stopped daintily licking the blood from his claws. 'Must be Santa, ' thought kitty (that quite clever cat) 'Cuz nobody else climbs down the chimney like that. Indeed it was ol' Santa, so jolly and fat With a huge load of presents and all for the cat 'Wow, the best Christmas ever! ' Kitty thought with a purr, Then he coughed up a hairball and shed some more fur.
Hi, the round thing at 9;40 pretty sure it's an old curtain roller and had wire loop in it. Some curtains were really long and heavy so had the little wheels on top of the metal rails. Vaguely remember one of the Grandma's having boxes of them... Hope this helps with your research.. Chris..
The metal object made of twisted metal is a Three-Way Swivel used for fishing. Your Main line is tied to one of the straight legs, your line going to the weight is attached to the other straight leg and your hook line comes off at the 90 degree leg.
The bird's head is absolutely gorgeous and the ring unfolding was great fun! As you were working I thought to myself 'looks like 1920s Chinese export' so I was dead chuffed when you mentioned it too haha! 😊 Your tree is beautiful too, so heartfelt and cozy. Thank you for freezing your bits off to bring us more tiny treasure 💖
Remember every time a bell rings and angel gets this wings That's so cute that was Perfect thing to find mud Perfect thing to find mudlarking For Christmas TBE Red Bell! 🔔🔔
To brave that cold shows that old English determination to get the job done! Good effort on that ring; Kate, maybe you could fix that beautiful little cabachon on to it. Thanks so much for bringing us another enjoyable video. You ladies are beautiful people, we viewers are fortunate. Sue and Ian, Australia
Love your Christmas tree. It is beautiful. The ring is amazing too. I also love finding things and making something from bits and pieces. It is so fun .
Love watching your video’s. Not even cold can deter you from looking for treasures. I truly admire that. In Calgary, Canada is minus 34 with the wind. Chilly…. Lots of hugs to both of you!
Oh I felt the cold with you🥶, the ring gave up such a lovely surprise not being modern and a great job getting it back into shape. See you tomorrow I’m really enjoying Mudmass thank you. 😊
Your weather is more like the upper eastern 🇺🇲states...it has been unseasonably warm for December here in Tennessee. But the cold is coming...loved the video! Thanks for taking us along❤Merry Christmas to you and family!
Yes! Another great Mudmas video! Love it and you are finding mudlarking Xmas stuff! That is the sound of a mudlarking bell! Thank you for all your work! I know Mudmas is a lot of work but oh it is grand!
Another great video, ladies. I was going to help identify the fishing swivel but others have already done so. All that remains is to wish you both and the rest of your family, a happy Christmas.
It's funny that you found a piece of Britains toy as I collect and build model tractors (although haven't for a while) but it's yet another hobby of mine 😂 Fleur did a brilliant job of unfolding that ring and you found some nice little pieces!
Hello lovelies How wonderful. Such marvelous finds, a ring, a bell, a wee marble, and lots of odds and ends. So sorry you got so cold. Please bundle up more. Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.
It’s relaxing watching you do craft projects. I can’t do them and when I’ve tried it brings on stress and utter chaos. I’m perfectly content and happy to enjoy your creative projects 🎄♥️🎁. Thank you for the video today.
A word for those who are cold and could use a warm cup of tea or coffee...brew-tiful. U said it Kate. I think we could feel your cold weather🥶🤭through our screens.thnx for bearing the weather for us so we could mudlark with u😉
You two are so much fun to watch. You need a fishing tent like they use for fishing here in Canada with a little heater in it. You could just move it around and stay warm LOL!!!! I love the bits you find and your wonderful imaginations making them into something new. Love this channel. Hugs Nola
a ring and bright water a marvelous marble and metal to marvel over when turned in to a renewed life a loverly video thankyou now hot chocolate and a warm by the fire for you two o and of course sunny cat to 🙂

Happy Christmas to you both and your family. The winter is really biting now and I think your brave still going out .The ring was a nice find .It’s always nice to go on your adventures .Make sure you wrap up warm .Love n Light 🥰
Hello dear ladies! Another appreciated and enjoyable video! I have to say you 2 are my favorites! I hope you reach 13,000 by Christmas. Your Christmas tree is so lovely! I love the ornaments! Michigan friend 🎄🎅🐦🇺🇸
Brilliant, well done on the 1920s ring. The "knob" looks like a know from a light chain. Another great adventure. Get warm packets that you put in gloves, they are wonderful.
You look like you were both freezing 🥶. I haled my breath when you were trying to unwind the ring but yay you did it 😀 well done 👏🏻. Your Christmas tree looks beautiful and I just love the fact that you put mud larking finds onto it . Your vlog mass videos have been good to watch keep up the good work . And here’s keeping my fingers crossed 🤞 that you get to 13k by Christmas xx
I was wondering if you had one of those fiberglass pens that you clean metal with? I watch Si finds use them and it does such a great job and it is gentle to the old metal. I love your ring you found and am enjoying each and every video.
I was holding my breath when you were unbending that ring! Well done!!! And you turned it into something wearable, if you wanted to. You girls never cease to amaze me what you do when your determined! Such a joy! Get some hand warmers for your gloves, it will help, and they make shoe warmers too. Stay safe out there girls!! ❤️❤️❤️
It may be -27 Celsius with a wind chill of -33 but it is a dry cold. Nasty but not the same as the damp cold in your area. Damp cold just sinks into your bones and stays there. The wind makes it even worse in other words a wind chill. By heating the metal of the ring it would make the metal softer and less likely to snap while reshaping. Just put a stripe of ink from a permanent marker and heat it until the mark disappears. This will not melt the ring unless it is lead or pewter so will not harm it. I always enjoy your videos and while it was too cold to film the art shots it was still very enjoyable. Thank you for all your hard work.💗
i have RA and fibromyalgia and digeneratove disk disease and my liver is bad from all the meds ive had to take so i camt get out and watching the mudmas videos is the hilight of my day...That's what I was saying thank you for my gift is these videos I really appreciate them merry Christmas
Kate I metal detect & use divers gloves. They give you warmth & the ability to use your fingers for tiny things. I do hope this helps protect y'all's cold hands in the future. xx
You may have numb fingers, but you two Ladies are no numbskulls (a name the Three Stooges called each other). Great finds! That green marble was neat, but my faves were the pretty bird and the full moon cabochon. You might consider doing a miniature painting of vines and flowers on the mother of pearl setting and use as one of the dolls fancy dress-up belt? A suggestion that may help you when getting a ring back in a circle or shaping other jewelry that's been flattened is .... warm the metal up before and during, attempting to reshape. Good tools that may help are wooden skewers, chopsticks and wooden spoon handles. They are pretty solid and won't damage the metal. It may extend the life of the blade of that cool knife, plus we wouldn't be so nervous about either of you getting harmed. We would all feel so much remorse from you getting hurt, especially making a film for us. Stay Safe and Toasty Warm, Ladies. YT would never be the same without you two Beautiful Ladies.

That knob could be used as a decorative vase in the doll house!
The metal is a 3 way swivel link for fishing. My parents own fishing tackle shops 😊 p.s the dress hook looks like an old fashioned curtain hook. My Nan had some the same in her tool box
Yes it’s a curtain hook, I still have some of my mums

Tidings of comfort and joy...and warmth! This was enthralling to watch- the ring! Love it!

The bird head is lovely find. The marble too.
Lovely Mudmas to you toi!!! My fingers are aching just watching the cold wet beach scraping.stay safe and warm!!

So many special things with potential for crafts! And that ring….what a cold-day adventure!
I think this was one of my favorite videos. I loved the birds head, and the ring and esp. the bell…a “Mudlarkers Bell”! Classic! 🎄❣️🎄❤️

How nerve wracking it must have been to unfold that ring! 😬 I am amazed at how well it worked though!

Great marble! Ring is so beautiful! Two keys, the bird head, the blue cabochan with the foil back! Great finds!
Loving the video again, top tip for cold fingers I put hand warmer pouches into each of my fingerless gloves they work a treat x
Never seen a ring quite like the one you found Fleur. Great work restoring it. So many different finds. Stay warm ladies. Blessings. ❄️🎄
Love your Christmas tree. It is beautiful. The ring is amazing too. I also love finding things and making something from bits and pieces. It is so fun .
Bless your hearts for braving the cold to bring us such an enjoyable video!!!!!!
Hats off yo you both 👏. Who would have thought the 1920s Chinese ring would live to see another day.
Love watching your video’s. Not even cold can deter you from looking for treasures. I truly admire that. In Calgary, Canada is minus 34 with the wind. Chilly…. Lots of hugs to both of you!

I luv listening to u both imagining what your finds will become..so fun
I’m on the west coast of Canada. I have never found anything . There is nothing! So I live vicariously through your videos.
Absolutely adore your videos. Thought you could put the knob thing on the top of the tack and make a vase for the dolls house 😊
This is so much fun, seeing you everyday! The tree is gorgeous!🎄🙋♀️❤🎄 I shared this episode on my Facebook page! Hope you make your lucky 13 !
Well done Fleur on unfolding the ring, you have some patience. Some great finds which I'm sure you'll find uses for xx
That was a bit grueling, but you did it! Crazy to imagine that ring surviving in any state all these years! Thanks for another wonderful video:D
I was getting cold just watching!! I'm glad you had a good time and were able to warm back up enough to share this. Thank you, and have a great day!
Yes! Another great Mudmas video! Love it and you are finding mudlarking Xmas stuff! That is the sound of a mudlarking bell! Thank you for all your work! I know Mudmas is a lot of work but oh it is grand!

Hello lovelies
How wonderful. Such marvelous finds, a ring, a bell, a wee marble, and lots of odds and ends. So sorry you got so cold. Please bundle up more.
Greetings from North Carolina U.S.A.
Gorgeous bird. I lived beside the sea on the West coast of Canada. We barely see sea glass. I could not imagine finding such cool things.
What kind of metal do you think the ring is?
🥰 you always have such great finds
Great find with the ring even if it was from the 1930s. You guys did a great job bringing it back from being smashed.
It’s relaxing watching you do craft projects. I can’t do them and when I’ve tried it brings on stress and utter chaos. I’m perfectly content and happy to enjoy your creative projects 🎄♥️🎁. Thank you for the video today.

Anneal the ring with a torch in order to soften the metal and re-form it...Then hammer it to harden the metal.
You can do that on a gas stove too. I used to solder bezels on my stove!
@@jodybishel6556 What a great idea. I never heard of that.
a ring and bright water a marvelous marble and metal to marvel over when turned in to a renewed life a loverly video thankyou now hot chocolate and a warm by the fire for you two o and of course sunny cat to 🙂
I could feel the tension when unbending the ring, I'm glad it didn't break! The small green marble is really cute too...
I think the item with three loops is for fishing.
Thank you for bearing the cold for us Caboodlers! Merry Christmas to all of you 😘❤️
Thank you for all the time and effort to produce your videos. Bright spot of day.

I love the owls & mushrooms on your tree! I have those on mine too!!
Your Christmas tree is beautiful! I still think about the china shard ornaments you made last year. They were magical.
Awesome job unwrapping that Ring!
All I can say IS BRRRRRR. Love your creativity.
Lovely ring, My ring(same as pic , different insert) was handed down to me from my Grandmother. Love your videos ❤️

The pretty bird's head looks a lot like a sandhill crane!
Well the ring is actual treasure.
You have a lovely Christmas tree.
So sorry you are so cold but thanks again for the hunt. Love you Ladies! MERRY CHRISTMAS to you both!
i have RA and fibromyalgia and digeneratove disk disease and my liver is bad from all the meds ive had to take so i camt get out and watching the mudmas videos is the hilight of my day...That's what I was saying thank you for my gift is these videos I really appreciate them merry Christmas
Best regards from Poland.
👍💙
Well done for undoing your ring
I so enjoy your larks!
Sweet tree!
If you are willing, I would love to 'adopt'...purchase... that beautiful bird head!!! 💗
The bit that you say is a dress fastener is a curtain hook, have them on some heavy curtains at home as better than the plastic ones.
The dress fitting look the same but are shorter.
I just love watching you and your camera skills so I feel as though I'm searching with you! How are your chess pieces coming along?
Kate
I metal detect & use divers gloves.
They give you warmth & the ability to use your fingers for tiny things.
I do hope this helps protect y'all's cold hands in the future.
xx
It’s a curtain hook (not a dress hook) you can still buy them, if you don’t like the white plastic ones.
👍🏻💜 fee
Great words -- "For Crafting" and "Put it in a Potato".
I just found your channel. I'm planning on starting to comb creek beds and river banks in my area of Pennsylvania. Merry Christmas to you!!
Love from the old lady in Texas God bless you always and forever
I love the birds head wow the ring is amazing xx
