Think the tag, as others have mentioned, has Welsh place names on it. Think it could be Cefnllys, Cefn-Coed, Cardiff, but no idea what it would relate to.
I LOVE your long films...the longer, the better as far as I'm concerned. Your crafting skills never cease to amaze me, I have no idea how you come up with these things...just fabulous, Thank you
Dear Fleur and Kate, Thank you for cleaning the area. Its So much plastic everywhere. Nice finds. I love too see what you do with something. Liebe Grüße Jette
Love your finds , and the little bed you made brought a tear to my eyes in fond memories of my wonderful dad who made mine from scrap wood he had , in his shed , the dollies where made Fromm wooden pegs with scrap fabric wrapped around them from cloth, thank you ladies for evoking fond memories x
I worked in a post office in the 1980's in South Africa. We still used lead seals for registered letters and insured parcels unto which a monetary value was attached. The normal letter and parcel bags were just closed with a aluminium seal. The lead seals were closed with seal punch pliers thingie and each post office had their own so the name on the seal is from the post office it came from not where it went to.
@@MudlarkingWithKitCaboodlers You've come a long way in a year ladies. Fleur, you mentioned that you were closing in on the 10,000 subscribers mark at or near the end of this video and I noticed that you're now at 24,000 subscribers. Well done and congratulations to you both. 🎉🎉🎊 🎊 The dollhouse bed you crafted is really cute. Hello to you Kate & Fleur from a friend in North Carolina, USA.
Lucky Burnie has a wonderful new bed. When you were holding him over it he looked like he wanted to jump on it and I could imagine Bitsy yelling, "Burnie! Stop bouncing on the bed! You're going to break it!"
Taking the time to hyper-focus on a particular area sure paid off with some really interesting finds. Love what you do. Thanks for bringing me along on your journeys.
That fancy metal thingie at 48:56 would make a splendid door knob plate for a doll's house door. It already has holes at each corner to screw it down. Lucky dolls!
I absolutely adore everything you both do,this is one of my favourites, I love how you bring the past alive, please never stop doing what you both do extremely well,at the end of a hard nursing shift,I love nothing better then to sit down with a hot cuppa and catch up with the past, not only in my reading but with you both and your magnificent finds,I love the bed and mattress too! ❤❤❤❤
🇨🇦 It's so funny, I was so engrossed with this video, I literally caught myself reaching to pick something up lol😁. Oh yeah, moving my phone further away to put something into better focus didn't work either. I think it is broken. 😀 Your videos are perfect it's just I have old eyes and automatically hold things I can't see further away so I can focus on them. The bed is super cute by the way.
I think the military dog type piece of metal is a Welsh address. The ‘coed’ part means ‘wood’ or ‘trees’ in welsh and is a very commonly used as part of a village name (as in Betws-y-coed). It is pronounced coyd. The ‘diff’ is Cardiff which leaves the first line ‘NLLYE’ which could be the end of a street name, house name or a surname.
I admire how you girls upgrade these discarded items into such unique and beautiful objects. I enjoy watching you so much. Rock crazy as I am I do feel a bit sad when you pass up some of the beautiful stones but I feel very happy when you notice the beauty of one or two and take them. I think that tiny beautiful stones would add an element of nature to you crafts. Stay safe and keep hunting.
I like the long videos, never gets boring …. That square thing your mom found that you thought had a fake jewel in the center would make a great door plate! 😃
The pointed decorated thing I think may have either been a dowl tool or a worn down punch used as one. .The engraving on the handle is to improve the grip. It’s small so I imagine it’s use would be for leather or even fine metalwork in jewellery or clockmaking..My guess anyway You got some interesting pieces today ..Love n Light 🥰
Such interesting little bits of metal and the surprising history found. Of course, my favorite will always be the doll house crafts. What a clever idea using the driftwood for the cutest bed ever!
I'm leaving on a 3 day beach trip tomorrow. I have a gift to throw into the ocean to appease the mud larking gods. You two found some very fun finds. Missed seeing Sunny cat. Hugs, Diana.
How blessed you are that your daughter loves mudlarking with you. My daughter hates all the things I love to do. I join in on the things she loves in return just to keep good memories and to show her I love her. But wow it would be amazing if she would do my things with me! She’s grown and married now. Time flies.
My best guess for the pointy item is that its an Awl (not an Owl lol) they are used for making holes in leather or sail cloth amongst other things, but one can imagine the odd sail needing repair on the Thames. Absolutely adore that bed, can I have one full size please lol So interesting the stories behind the finds today :)
How fun. You found such interesting things and the doll bed is precious. I have an idea... collect round flat stones and make faces with them using your stash of finds. You could also paint faces on them, glue ribbon for a hanger and wala there you are a cute decoration. Thank you for the outing it was nice getting out for a while. 😊 Stay Blessed, Safe and Healthy Grandma from Florida, USA
Hi lovely ladies, as always, loved the video. Lovely bed for Bernie, and the longer the video the better. Keep well and safe. Much love Sue Gosling Adelaide south Australia
I love the highly decorated rectangular piece of metal with the "glass" ball. It reminds me of a door know and the decorative plate that attaches to the door. Love it!!! ❤️ ! You two have such fun and are so imaginative!
Oh that little bed is adorable! Great video Ladies, how you saw those tiny finds is beyond me. On the length of your videos I have no problem, keep them coming, I could watch all day long! 😀 x
Always peaceful, well edited & the most calming music! I enjoy joining you on your adventures. It's like being with the family I never had, thank you. Kindly❤Dudley
Woodworking skills are good, nothing like driftwood from the beach. The owl was a wonderful find Fleur. That new beach area worth another visit. Sue and Ian, Australia
Fleur and Kate another awesome day for finds thanks for sharing ,love your little bed ,so much imaginative talent, thanks for picking up the garbage, stay safe ❤️from Ontario Canada 🍄💕👍👍👍
Oh those mushrooms are so precious! I love them, they are perfect! This was another lovely video, so many cool finds and just the most relaxing vibe, which I really value. The owl was my favourite, I have to say, but there are so many lovely things, even the mysterious ones!
We live just a few miles away from Kilmarnock and we've never been lucky enough to find an old Walkers bottle or seal yet. Good find! Oh, and I love the little bed!
So glad you got out and about :) So looking forward to this video for tomorrow night - a little treat to begin the week with! Take care, Nicole & Craig
Oh the little green glass circle, rim of a bottle, would make a perfect rim for a wall clock or picture frame for the doll's house., don't ya think? Ladies, I'm seeing agates, jasper and small fossilized sea creatures. Not positive, but the sharp ended metal piece that Fleur found at around fifteen minutes looked to be kinda ancient, Roman? There sure was an impressive amount of tiny mysterious finds, as is usually the case on the Thames. Speaking of small things, the bedstead with all of the trimmings, that you Ladies built was too precious for words. You two could literally have a shop on line, selling miniature items exclusively. You could call it {Bitsy's Minis} or? Fleur and Kate, Thank you for being the Lovely Ladies you are. Heart and Hugs 2 U + pets and scratches for Sunny. : )
With your imagination and craftiness you could surely make little sun bonnets out of the toothpaste tube tops! Maybe lamp shades or hanging lights? So much fun with all your finds. 💖N.C.,🇺🇸😊
Just finished watching the round-up of your finds. WOW!!!! Lots of historical finds and such a fantastic trove of treasures! How exciting and keep up the good hunting!
Wonderful video and great finds!! The favorite part of this video for me was y’all making the doll’s bed!!! Fabulous, absolutely fabulous!!! As always I enjoy all your videos…well done, ladies!!!
Love to watch your crafting. I also like to make things out of repurposed items. And enjoy how you two have so much fun finding treasures. Thank you. 💕🙏🔥💕
I think the long pointy thing is a bradawl.its for starting off a hole for a nail i have one that looks very much like that .but not as decorative. The dolls house bed it adorable it looks good enough to sleep on .very artistic both of you.
G’day again ladies. Another fun and interesting vlog from you both. I used to travel around my state looking for old school grounds and railway stations that had been closed down, and no longer being used. I would then start walking around the old buildings, through them and crawl under them looking for any old Milk Bar (General type Store) wrappers, ephemera, including old confectionary wrappers, boxes. I would then return home and then carefully clean them with an old toothbrush, then put them on display in my showcases. It was so much fun. I found some cool stuff too.👍🇦🇺😁

After a bit of Googling the tag could be from Henllys Road, Cyncoed, Cardiff.
Wow thank you for that! It came along way to end upon that foreshore!

Could be a piece of hematite in there, it looked silvery from here...
That is a lovely idea :)
The doll bed is adorable. It made me think of the Disney movie, Bed knobs and Broomsticks.

We really must learn more about the stones! There is always so much to take in it is sometimes hard to see the wood for the trees :)
The little bottles deserved to be saved after surviving that rough, rocky shore. Loved your vid again. Thanks!
I agree completely (that`s why I have so many bottles haha)
I was just thinking that you could use a found toothpaste top for a neck for one of your dolls such an awesome adventure gorgeous finds
Snap Heidi, I thought exactly the same thing!
I thought that too
I was actually thinking of a tiny hat 👒
