Time 29:50. That’s the leather end of suspenders, where you button it on your trousers. That ink could be whole, as there are leaning ones just like that. Love a bead day.
I am convinced the little ink you found was a tipping ink well! I’d definitely have brought it home with me 😊 x Thank you for another lovely video, ladies. X
I was thinking that same thing; where the corner of the ink bottle is sheared off is just too deliberate not to be, well...deliberate. It tipped the bottle at just the right angle. I too wish they'd have taken it.
Always a pleasure to see two lovely English women with the beautiful attitudes... The genuine joy you have with every unique find.... Be Blessed 🕊️☝️🙏🕊️!!! Wholesome and completely lovely rosey complection on your faces 🌹🌹....
Just as you found the first ceramic cylinder, at 4:19, I saw the prettiest heart shaped rock to the left of the screen and kept saying, please see it, please see it. ❤
I saw it too! It was only about 4 inches to the left of your hand. It looked like a deep forest green with a deep alluring grey that was polished from the washing of the foreshore. Yes, and the little marshmallows I had been watching a combined video day of Nicolai White and Si Finds and they also found a whole slew of these on the beach. Some of them were different colors (pink, yellow, white) and a weight to them. It turned out they were part of an industrial polishing or finishing at one of the plants up shore that would just let them go down stream in the Thames. To think of all the polluting that goes on. And such beauty that lay buried under the mud for hundreds of years were more and clues to help us better understand how they live.
Hi ladies!😊 Alex made me laugh with her comment on the dolls nose!😂 Great camera! Thank you for the lovely video.☺️🇬🇧 Now that is going above and beyond Alex! Head in a cave! How brave! Makes me go all goosey ! 😂
Hello Gail and Alex! Wow, this was such a fun and exciting adventure finding so many little treasures and was definitely "bead" day. You have to go back and do some more exploring in and around the cave...that was a jackpot on cake decorations. The new phone has some awesome features that can give y'all a cool advantage in mudlarking. Loved the ghostly foot prints!😂Can't wait to see where y'all take us next! Have a wonderful week ladies...Big ((Hugs)) and Love from Texas!🤗💙😊💜
Yours has to be one of the most interesting channels and I love the atmosphere of them and music choices. I live in Scotland too, North East coast. Sending hugs from me and my five cat kids xxxxxx
I wish you lived closer. My son would be smitten with you Alex. You’re a beauty and so sweet. Thank you for the many adventures. I love the beauty of Scotland. Maybe one day I’ll be able to travel there.
Oh you 2 are my soul sisters...I have a metalsmithing degree I haven't used in years because struggling with an illness... wish I could find some locations like this in MI USA!!! You are so lucky and blessed!! I love you 2... I love, love , love what you do, especially the jewelry.... thank you!!!😘🦶🙌🫶🏼....prayers for you!!
Alex, you are so brave to go into that cave, so many bugs in there! But you found so many wonderful cake decorations it was worth it. Love watching both of you here and on your other channel. 💕
Alex you are a master of language. Busty crutton stuck in my head for quite some time. This was nice longer vid. You two do an awesome job of presenting your content. My problem is I can t get enough!
I was just watching a video on the Skill Spotter YT channel, of Indian chaps making terracotta pots and they used a sponge to decorate the pot's, a green leaf motive. Gorgeous pots once they are all fired up. Love the blue knuckle bone, I forgot what you call them. The ceramic cylinders are like platonic solids, perfect proportions, very satisfying. Maybe they could be plinths for very small treasures. I found out recently that it was Queen Victoria who started the White Wedding Dress tradition, it didn't exist until she had a white dress. I love your treasures, the way you display them in the light, makes them precious and full of shrewm? magic too.
I cant wait until my nerve damage gets better from falling on my knees almost a year ago so i can go mudlarking down by the rivers edge. All your finds are encouraging me to go to therapy and hopefully be better for next spring.
Gail I'm so jealous of your insulator/spool! I don't know if you buy finished chains, or chain by the foot, but if you purchase by the foot, that insulator would be perfect for chain. The only thing it's missing is the little slit to slip the working end through, but I find that those tend to bend the chain links anyway. A little ball of sticky tack (I don't know what it's really called - that stuff you used to prop up the ring in the final haul) on the top will keep your working end neat. Also, because the insulator is glazed, you can write the company name and SKU for the chain on your spool in Sharpie, and erase it with alcohol if you ever switch products on the spool.
Hi there Gail & Alex, very nice day to be out finding treasures. I can’t believe all of the beautiful beads you both found. You had a wonderful lark glad you found many treasures. I like the DOOGEE phone I will be checking it out. I do need another phone mind is having issues! I am sick of Apple iPhone 11 and would never recommend it to anyone. Have a fantastic week ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
I love watching your videos ladies. Have fun with that camera. You can also use it to find where you’re losing heat in your house because you’ll see cold spots like you did with the logs in your ceiling. Kathy
Wow, what a bead and busty crutton day you ladies had! The stoneware would've said something about it being a footwarmer. Alex, I think the inkwell you found wasn't broken so much as made that way in order to tip the ink bottle on its side. Fantastic new camera the company gifted you two lovely ladies. The foot-age of your footprints was so fun to watch. Loved the hoard of caketop candle holders you found. Great video ladies. Much love from the eastern part of North Carolina, USA. 🇺🇸 ❤ 💙 🏴 Visiting Scotland is on my bucket list...I've always been fascinated by Scotland, perhaps because of the accents?
Hi Gail & Alex, great finds … a bead day! Alex in the cave😮 another wonderful gift you got there… so many cool features 🦶 👣 was waiting for Alex to sit down on the floor to give us bum mark😅🎃👻 Gail wanting to clean it up😂see you soon ❤
Wow today was a bead day. I would love to see all of your beads strung on a long strand, it should be pretty long with all the beads you have found in all your mudlarking adventures.
You ladies had fun with that new phone! When Gail found another Cod Marble, I recalled that you mentioned saving enough Cod Marbles to create a (Lamp)?I thought a Pyramid- shaped Lamp w/ the Cord going up thru the middle)? Maybe with a Linen or Burlap covered shade? 🤔Great finds!
The ceramic barrel shaped pieces are called "barundums" and are used in media mills to grind inks and paints. I suppose they could also be used as polishing stones as well. If there's 2 of them, there's probably a couple thousand laying around just as likely. 🙂
HI GAIL AND ALEX!! LOVELY FOOTAGE OF EVERYTHING. LOVE THE NEW PHONE, MUST COST A PRETTY PENNY. THE THERMAL IMAGING IS SO COOL TO SEE. THE WONDERS OF TECHNOLOGY. I'D LIKE TO KNOW IF THE PIECE OF POTTERY WITH JOHNSON LONDON IS PART OF WHAT YOUR KIN PAINTED? LOVE YOUR VIDEOS AND LOOK FORWARD TO THEM EVERY WEEK OR SO. WAITING TO SEE YOUR CRAFT STUDIO PROGRESS. WELL HOPE ALL IS SAFE AND HEALTHY THANKS AGAIN ❤️ ❤️ I HOPE 🙏
Super cool finds! Loved the heart rock (I collect them) over the heart ring, Neiger bead and look-a-like, and red berry bead! Fun lark today. Thanks ladies!
Time 29:50. That’s the leather end of suspenders, where you button it on your trousers. That ink could be whole, as there are leaning ones just like that. Love a bead day.
That’s a great phone you girls are so sweet love all your finds
Gail has such a funny sense of humor!!! “ such a mess, need to clean that up”. 😂😂😂😂
And yet again, another great time with the northern Mudlarks!!!
I thought the same thing. Gail’s humor is understated. 😊😊😊
I was thinking the same thing. Maybe it will still be there when they go back.
Thought that too. Could have cried when she left it!
@@karenpaxton I was calling out to the screen..! Noooooooo! Just take it..!!!!
My! I think the vote is in that it was a tipped ink well. Got my vote. And I was like, take it! Take it!
Always enjoy watching your videos on my smart TV 😁
I think the ink pot wasn’t broken. It was cut that way to lean on a desk.
What a great day!
I was thinking that too (:
Edit: go back and get it!!! 🤣🤣♥
Ditto@@iamshotty
I came to the comments to say just that.
Always a pleasure to see two lovely English women with the beautiful attitudes... The genuine joy you have with every unique find....
Be Blessed 🕊️☝️🙏🕊️!!!
Wholesome and completely lovely rosey complection on your faces 🌹🌹....
I love the heart shaped rock at 4:23!
I saw that green heart lying there in that little depression & thought of someone who finds hearts in everything.
Saw it as well. Love hearts!
So many lovely finds!
The ceramic cylinders look like marshmallows!
Yes! Petrified marshmallows.
Just as you found the first ceramic cylinder, at 4:19, I saw the prettiest heart shaped rock to the left of the screen and kept saying, please see it, please see it. ❤
Same here!
Yes!
I saw that heart too.

Alex you have a wonderful reading voice, such a beautiful gentle voice
Hi ladies!😊
Alex made me laugh with her comment on the dolls nose!😂
Great camera! Thank you for the lovely video.☺️🇬🇧
Now that is going above and beyond Alex! Head in a cave! How brave! Makes me go all goosey ! 😂
Made me laugh as well😄
She does that almost every time they go to the foreshore. It is amusing.
"Busty crutton"!! 😄🥰
I think this is my favorite Lark!
Gets her words back to front like me 😂
Thankyou Northern Mudlarks what wonderful finds.❤❤❤
Please please be careful digging in unstable caves. You`re both precious and we don`t want to lose you. Saying that, another brilliant video.

❤Off with his head .. lol love you two
Alex I love the little cave you found !!!!😮❤
Love love your new phone camera!!!!
That inkwell sat on the desk at an angle. It wasn’t as badly broken as you thought it was. I loved that piece of broken bed warmer.
Thanks for taking us along on another great treasure hunt!
Love you ladies. I’ve been with you from the beginning. I’m so proud of both of you. Thank you for giving us such adventures.
I agree the ink well made that way n meant to sit at angle to get to ink.easier

Liked all the cake toppers. Amazing they were all in the same location. Your Doogee V31GT looks like a lot of fun. Enjoy.
I could watch the two of you all day. Love all your finds.
Great video .Thanks 😊 the collar stud reminds me of my nurses uniform back in 1970.
The footprints were hilarious!
Alex “busty crutton” 😂, so funny, amazing finds today ladies and that phone is fantastic so many cool things on it, tfs x Julie
Thanks!
I love that gorgeous antique hook and ceramic bird!!!
I LOVE the cake decorations! I suppose someone once threw away the bag or box they were stored in? What a delight that you found and rescued them!
A lovely bead day experience, you shared with us. Thank you very much 😊.
You have had an excellent afternoon for finding beads😊
Busty crutton! That ceramic cake dove is lovely!

Beautiful beads so much cool finds. Just love them . cool phone.
The skate thing could be used as a hook on the wall in a doll house to hang clothes.
For sure 👍
You were clearly having fun with the thermal imaging feature of the phone and camera. The night vision feature looks like it will really be helpful.
Always a great time with you
Alex, you make me chuckle, head underground with busy cruttons😂😂😂😂.
Busty😂😂😂.

It's not the beetles and Spiders that are the Problem. I fear the small cave might collapse.

Always love treasure hunting. Nice finds.
You have the best videos.
Great as always! love the term busty crutin too.
Smashing the head was so funny! Alex, you are just adorable! I had a necklace with all hand cut beads. They were from 1860s. Loved them!
The ceramic barrel shaped pieces are called "barundums" and are used in media mills to grind inks and paints. I suppose they could also be used as polishing stones as well. If there's 2 of them, there's probably a couple thousand laying around just as likely. 🙂
