The lead toy is a Matador. He is waving the red cloth that the bull charges. You can see it at 40:56 The red paint is still on the "cloth" his leg and body is in your fingers. I agree, the pipe whistle is special. Can you see the toddler or young child waiting on daddy filing away to make that for them? The joy it brought to a poor child after the war with no money for toys! It could be a birthday gift or even a christmas present!

Oh yes! You’re right! I thought it was like a woman doing laundry by hand, with a big sheet of some kind hanging down, but matador makes perfect sense!

I believe your "whistle" may actually be a very old hand made FIFE. It is played just like a flute and has a high pitch like a piccolo. What fabulous finds and great history behind those really obscure items. Thanks for your entertaining posts as I look forward to them each week.

What a beautiful take over of nature...correcting the mess that humans all too often leave behind.
I loved the metal finds you found on this lark. That whistle was so touching to see. I imagined a father making that for their child maybe. Wouldn't it have been a perfect gift for Christmas.❤
That odd metal figure with the missing head, looked kind of like the old way they used to tie bushels of wheat, to dry out in the sun. Just a thought, but the strands of what ever he's bending too, may be a wee bit too thick. 😬 Who knows?
That little green bottle was beautiful. It instantly brought the thought of lemons to mind.
I'd be interested to find out what that bottle contained. Please let us know if you find out, won't you.

    Dear lovely Northern Mudlarking Ladies.
👍👌👏 What a wonderful video! I simply couldn't ask for more = wonderful location, great finds, fantastic weather, good music*, beautiful gals. ;-)
Thank you for using the twisted words modd carble and plate sencil (or was it pate slencil?). I absolutely love it when you do this (of course I missed my favourite one).👅 😘
    2) At 6.40 min I found myself shouting: Examine the tea pot lid, examine the tea pot lid! 😁
    3) It's definitely a great idea to make a pendant out of the blue glass piece with the word TAKEN on. Maybe also do a ring with the blue BE? By the way: You found a broken piece of a play cipe with the typical heart on it. Wouldn't it be a great idea to make a ring or a pendant out of just the clay 💚? If you put a little piece of copper wire on it and heat it up high (so that the copper melts) in your oven, you will get the most beautiful blue glaze.
    4) This time my favourites are the sparkling glass button and the little rare slightly green sauce bottle. And definitely not only because I love nearly anything that is green.
    5) I wonder and hope that you will try to make the simple flute whistle again? Please?
As always: Thanks a lot for making teaching explaining recording editing uploading and sharing.
Best regards luck and health in particular. To both of you of course.
Post Scriptum: * = I still think that it is Alex singing so angelic. I already asked about this but never got an answer, sigh. 😔 Nothing in the description too.

    Refinery perhaps 🤔
One of my favourite bracelets is made from an antique silver spoon.
It’s bent into a letter C shape and just slides onto the wrist. It’s incredibly comfortable and sits beautifully on the wrist. The top of the handle is wider and, like I said makes it very comfy.
The inside of the spoon is beautifully decorated and now that it’s flattened out, is wonderful to look at.
I get so so many comments and compliments regarding it. I’m forever taking it off to show people.
    🙂🐿🌈❤️

Hopefully all stinky rubbish dumps will look as beautiful as your forest someday; (and cemeteries too). I read about a plan somewhere in the U.S. to plant trees atop of each person buried in a biodegradable coffin, creating a gorgeous Forest from each buried Soul. Really cool finds, & music too!😊

I am thinking that the two metal wheels that Alex found at 34:30 in your video may actually be wheels from the old metal toy trains? Love watching your treasure hunting channel, such perfect weather where you are. Here it is going onto winter in Victoria Australia, so starting to get a bit chilly with the wall furnace keeping me nice and warm.

Awesome video. Beautiful scenery especially the clover. The whistle is so cute. Took a lot of work to get those holes in it. Thank you for your time and work getting these videos done.

All the beautiful sponge ware. You’ve got enough to start a catalogue of designs. They really are quite unique and pretty. Your path is going to be gorgeous. Thank you for another peaceful and interesting video, I watch whilst stitching, well, not much stitching gets done during yours, but I love to sit and have videos play whilst I embroider.

Me too. I feel quite anticipatory about seeing you make a mosaic path or door step/landing with your found tiles, pottery and china chunks. I imagine it being lovely, random and colorful.
