Thank you mark & Julie - the first section of video was filmed in august. The second and third section was filmed last year. They were “failure videos” waiting to be out in a small compilmation some day when videos struggle…. And as you know they have been. No where to go 😓 glad you enjoyed! Shall have to meet when the weather is good again.
Is it possible that condiment shaker is for the stuff you shake on the document after you write with liquid ink? (Pounce or sand.) It looks like the desk ink containers but with holes.
Agreed that is a little scale weight, possible brass under all that muck. I grew up in a grocers shop and we had weights that were just the same shape. 🤩
The creek you're digging in was hammered over 30 years ago we would leave with at least two to three printed pot lids a bag of whole codds printed ginger beers printed.stone whare you are digging up bottles we found worthless ie the stuff you take home . That's why your best finds have come from further out of Milton creek / Lower Hailstow . The only Virgin rubbish tips are single barge discharges that for one reason or another failed to offload at the brick fields but you need a boat with good seamanship skills Im salvaging a Mark 1 spitfire shot down during the battle of Britain at present it's only accessible at very low water well offshore. Think outside of the box and good luck. Your best find so far is the Rock Blue
New sub here, great episode and channel! Love searching for old bottles too! Happy hunting and good luck on your next adventure, from Jim and Mason, New Hampshire USA.
Real nice bottle finds today. Always enjoy your videos, Adam. Very productive sights. The pipe bowl from the 1700’s was great also. Hope you are doing well. ❤😊
*Adam great video of some awesome finds. Did you hand in the baby shark to the Dept of Conservation authorities or whatever you call them over there, as they want to work out causes the death of sharks, dolphins etc when they float ashore when they die.... 🙂.*
I know you need a permit for mudlarking on Thames but what's the situation when it comes to digging holes cuz I know a couple of places I could dig on the foreshore but I don't know ANYONE who even just does eyes only finds let alone metal detection etc, I know it'll depend on where you are different courses for different horses but are you permitted aslong as its not right near them ferries etc?
A wonderful compilation of larks with guests. Some great finds in the mud. We wish we had joined you.
Mark and Julie 😊👍⭐️
