Hello 👋 Hope you enjoying watching this week! See here for more exiting treasure hunting adventures 👣 -- ruclips.net/video/pjqcIPLOaLc/видео.html
Always enjoy watching you ladies in your larking adventures! ( :
Gail and Alex, I nominate that glorious piece of swirly glass for the windowsill of wonders, along with the lovely frosted glass piece. I think it would be such a shame to see the swirly glass melted down; it's beautiful as is. . .perhaps made into a sun catcher for a window? I'm curious as to what you might've found out about the history of the broken marmalade pot with the "silver pan" etc written on it?
Yet another exciting adventure you let us vicariously enjoy with you both. I look forward to seeing your new videos each week. Hugs, greetings and good wishes to you both from here in eastern North Carolina, USA. 😄😃👋
Love watching your channel! Do you sell the items you make? If so where ?
Marie
Just a thought after seeing the ‘silver pan’ marmalade broken pot, you could trim them down and smooth the edges to make coasters for drinks :)
I love this idea! I kept thinking they could smooth it down but I don't know for what; the coast idea is just the thing!
Oh yes! Great idea, we should've taken it x
Fantastic 💡idea!
Or a sponge holder
Or make a collage/picture of mounted flat items that are related? Nice for kitchen wall hangings, on themes. 🐝
Can't help it I have such a soft spot for you two, love your videos and enjoy it when you tell us a little historical story about the finds, thanks for all your hard work in making such entertaining and thoroughly enjoyable videos 💗
Agree with your comment!! They are my utmost favourite RUclipsrs….I get butterflies in my stomach from excitement when they post!🦋🦋😁
Aww thank you so much! We really appreciate it 🥰💕
I never get tired of you 2 ladies digging in the dirt/mud. Love to watch your digging and hear the excitement in your voice. If I would be able to come to England I would love to mudlark with you ladies you are my favorite people to watch much love from Tennessee U S A
I live in Tennessee too! I'm going to London in August...can't wait to visit the Thames foreshore!!
@@primitivetennesseechicks8740 I hope you have a wonderful time I'm in Knoxville Tennessee where are you
Aww thank you so much! We're so happy you enjoy our videos. Love Gail & Alex xx
I’d like to join that adventure.
Hi Gail and Alex, your research is so appreciated…..makes your finds have history and value to them. 🌹Treasures I’m sure, thank you for taking the time, the finds this time are fantastic. Marmalade lid was amazing…I loved to have taken it…my last name is similar in sound…and I’ve been called “Marmalade” before…that would of been fun to keep! Beautiful black buttons, Alex 🤗
Hello 👋 Thank you so much! We appreciate your appreciation! We regret not taking the broken marmalade jar, if we find another well take it 😊
You are so kind in writing me back. You’ve made my day! I live so far away from the beautiful country your in! I don’t even think there is Mudlarking in California 🤔…but I’d be out there looking for treasures too! I paint and do craft but that’s about it…have an amazing rest of this week. 😄😉♥️🌹🌼
The little frosted beautiful pot! Another great adventure thank you ladies!💕💕WV🇺🇸
The ceramic reel at 13:39 is actually a spool type electrical insulator used for low voltage (usually lighting) circuits! I do love finding that shape and that looks like a particularly nice one! At 20:04 you possibly found another too, although it could be a rope pulley, due to the small diameter of the hole 🤔 Nice variety there. Probably from old 1910s lighting poles. I really love those red tiles! So many amazing finds including those cut glass goodies and that lovely glass thing that looks like an urn... I also have a soft spot for those lenses.
Yes, you're totally right. We seem to find lots of different types of electrical insulators on this foreshore. We're hoping to use our collected tiles someday, can't wait! xx
@@NorthernMudlarks I've been collecting insulators for about 15 years now and it seems bottle dumps are an untapped resource! Do either of your spools have any markings at all? I'm hoping to find nice bottles too, so I'm searching for possible dumps!
Thank you again for taking me along on your adventure!! Hope you both are stay safe and healthy !! Keep creating cheers🇨🇦💕
You're so welcome! Much love! xx
Wow, your 'Peking' bead collection is stunning as are the French jet buttons! Could you show more of your collections? I for one would love to see them. The Lalique pot is so beautiful! definitely worth restoring and putting in the window. Great finds Ladies, thanks for sharing 😀💗 x
that piece of swirly glass (German? Bohemian?) is spectacular! If not beads, could be used as part of a window ornament.
That beautiful swirly glass could be the nominee for the windowsill of wonders. I hope that Gail and Alex will make it into a suncatcher; it would be a shame to melt down that glorious looking piece of glass wouldn't it? Hello from eastern North Carolina. 👋👋
You two found so many lovely treasures today, I think the cut glass ink well would look beautiful in the window or the huge mushroom shaped bottle stopper. Thanks for sharing with us.💕
We defiantly had a luck day! Love both of those finds too! Much love 🥰
I really like seeing a few items all cleaned up while still watching these two sweeties dig and find. Thanks.
I meant to mention when you found the gold sovereign dated just about the time my father was a young boy, born 1902. It was one Christmas when things were not so good for my grandfather who worked in London. He was catching the train home to Kent when he found a sovereign on the pavement. My Father always related to me that it bought a whole Christmas dinner with all the trimmings for his mother, father 3 brothers and 1 sister.
I'm impressed with your green bead collection! I enjoy your videos so much. One of these days I would love to go mudlarking!
They are all part of the same broken necklace, we've had them for years but not yet fixed it. So glad you enjoyed the video! xx
@@NorthernMudlarks I was thinking that if you two strung those beeds with some sea glass it would make beautiful bracelets.
Loved every single thing you found.I hope you go back there to find more treasures ❤
Thank's Elaine! We most certainly will be back! 🥰
Yay! First Hour Club. I'm usually working when your new videos come out. My, my, you and Alex have bead-y eyes today Gail! 😁🤩💘 Love and hugs from North Carolina, USA.
Welcome! It was definatly a bead day today! Much love xx
@@NorthernMudlarks I nominate the swirly piece of glass and the frosted "goblet" looking piece for the windowsill of wonders this week. I have to admit I hope y'all will not melt down the swirly glass; it's so beautiful as it is. Perhaps you could make it into a sun catcher instead? I'm vicariously enjoying the mudlarking adventures you ladies share with the rest of us. 😃 Thank you for letting us tag along with y'all.
It was my birthday and for once fab weather, I was beach combing at Runswick Bay. You got more treasures than I did but I picked up some seaglass. Great video, thanks.
Happy birthday! 🎉🎈
🌻 HAPY BIRTHDAY 🌻
Happy Birthday!!! 🥳 Runswick is a wonderful place to spend a birthday xx
Hello Gail and Alex. I so love watching you two! You always find the most amazing things. Can't wait for the next video from you two sweethearts. Much love from Louisiana ❤️❤️
Hello 👋 So happy to hear it! love Gail & Alex xx
I love your videos, I could watch them all day long! This style of treasure hunting is my favorite. Please make more at this dumpsite. Hope to see you use the garden sifter at the river again too (☀️in the daylight). 🥰
We'll most certainly be back here! We'll take the sifter back too 😊 Much love xx
I’ve been an avid bead collector for years, and I’ve never heard of Peking glass beads! They are stunning. Thank you for the lark!
Thank you for coming with us 🥰 They are beautiful beads! x
Hello Alex and Gale🥰 you have so many wonderful rivers, beaches and fields around you to go out and find treasures in, beautiful. I would also suggest that you try magnet fishing to find even more. Gale and Alex I love all the history you know and tell us❤️ Hugs from Hudiksvall at the east coast of northern Sweden 🇸🇪🥰🤗❤️
Hello 👋 Thank you so much for coming with us! We'll have to try magnet fishing someday. Much love 💕🥰
I could watch you two for hours.
Aww thank you so much! 🥰
Wow all your finds spread out on the table, you had collected a lot. They all look superb cleaned up. Loved the video thanks Gail and Alex cc
The success of your hunt was lovely to see. Thanks Gail & Alex. 🇺🇸💞👭
I was also wondering if the little bezel glass heart is the front of a locket, like a hair locket or memorial locket. I had one that was similar to that but oval rather than heart shaped. the hair was trapped between the glass and the gold back of the locket and held in by the bezel. Really fun lark again. Thank you so much
You could be right, good thinking. It would be fun to try and recreate one!
Interesting and fun finds! The clear cut-glass ink would look nice in the window.
You found some great stuff as usual. I think the Queen Sheba Gold bottle should be in the window of wonders. And, I think your mystery find is the handle of a baby's pacifier; the hole being there to allow air for suction. Thanks for taking us on your mudlarking adventure, I had fun. 😊
Nice video! Also I think if you had a fishing rod with a magnet you would probably find wonderful things under the river or lake, many people throw valuable objects either as a tribute or to attract luck, you could find for example Victorian jewelry very interesting stuff. I Love your videos good luck for the next ones ✨🍀✨
Thank you so much! We may give it a go someday. It's a shame magnets only pick up ferris metals though, we could a sword though! xx
I was so excited when you found the Elastoplast tin, my mum kept her sewing needles in one of those for as long as i can remember. Although she is sadly gone now (covid), i still have the tin, just one look at those takes me right back to my childhood. Funny the things we attach memories to.
What an amazing collection of finds today!
Love the cut glass ink and the Sheba gold among so many other interesting finds. Just a wild guess but could the little white porcelain ring/object be part of a fancy baby pacifier? Keep trying to manifest more gold sovereigns Alex!
I would love a gold coin, haha. Or a gold ring, I'm not picky 😂
A pacifier was my first thought too
I am 5hinking that it had a pin cushion on the big end and warn by a Taylor or such. in 5he back of my mind I seem to recall something like that from my youth.
What about a sink plug? It tapers at one point, as if it goes into something.
How cool. At first, I was like what the heck she doing with this junk. Then you told the history of each thing. Wow.The more I watched I realized just how Awesome this video is👍🙃☺
I love the little mouse playing the violin 🎻 and the little frosted glass pot. You found some beautiful things today. Xxx

You do have an amazing eye, Alex! I didn't see either the bright blue or the off white bead! ( : Yayyyyyyy, a coin, Gail! You are definitely the coin whisperer! Hopefully another gold coin can be found! ( : Lots of beads being found today too! ( : Yayyyyyyy! ( : Oooh, a clear German marble! How beautiful! ( :
What a beautiful goose brooch! ( : Cool! A chunky pipe too, Alex, and a whole little penny perfume bottle with a diamond cross cross basket design on the two sides and all around under the neck! I love it sooo much and had a stopper in it still too! What a beautiful mystery object! ( :
I would take the three knob lids and grind down the glass pieces below the knobs. ( : They are sooo beautiful! ( : Funny you got a coin where mom found the gold piece! ( : Funny about melted ex bead! Wow, that piece of orange glass is stunning! ( : I would make so e jewelry with it! ( : Yayyyyyyy! You found an arm too! ( : Oh no another headless Charlotte! ) : That stinks! ) : Love. What a brilliant day of treasure hunting for sure! Wow! ( : I think the feisty glass piece and the Le gasaurus Rex! Lol! ( :
'It's A Bead!' What wonderful words! Although this could have been the Bead, Button Bonanza. Loved every minute and every find. If that bottle is Lalique, you are lucky. Though knackered, those marbles have character. All in the eye of the beholder.
Haha, our catchphrase! It was defiantly a bead day today! Much love xx
@@NorthernMudlarks It's always a pleasure to go along with you. Alex, I was certainly keeping my fingers crossed that you too would find a sovereign! Maybe next time.... xx
The pretty red glass should go in the window. Such lovely finds you two found this week. I look forward to watching you two finding all the treasures.
Thank you! see you again next time 🥰💕
Hello ladies, awesome jewels today. Thank you for sharing. I always look forward to seeing you from Ky.
13:40 your ceramic reel is in fact an hot wire insulator for fencing electric n hot wires.
Hi, I have no idea what the circular porcelain thing could be! I would be nice to see the little violin playing mouse in the window with his repaired ear covered in gold leaf, he would look very happy and jaunty. Thoroughly enjoyed your video- a breath of fresh air. Have a good week xx
I think the adorable mouse violinist should be displayed in the window! Another marvelously relaxing treasure hunt!
Gail lm thinkin the frosted glass container would make a great project for you! A nice silver inside/outside bezel would be beautiful.
I love listening to the excitement for every little find! I treasure hunt the banks of our local waterways. But rarely find an old treasure.
THATS WHAT i LIKE, A LONG DIG AT THE DUMP WITH GREAT FINDS!!! tHANKS!
I’m probably too late but I vote for the gorgeous red bottle and the giant stopper boople! It looks like a mushroom 🍄
Lovely explore ladies ❣️

Ahhh the little mouse playing the violin should be in the window! So sweet.
So many lovely treasures!
always entertaining always full of History always listening to you gals laugh and carry on be happy of what you found from so far back in our past I love how you let us know what it was like back then I love the bottles and the way you truly sound that you're interested in your finds. it makes me wonder in maybe a hundred years when people are looking for reminents from our era what they'll find, almost everything that we have doesn't last ,the test of time! thank you!
Fabulous finds ladies well done ✅ xx
Thank you for letting us all enjoy your adventures, stay safe xx
You're so welcome 🥰
WoW, just amazing seeing all those treasures together….You ladies always make me happy when you post!🥰 You were very witty with your comments on this hunt, Alex!😂 Had me laughing a couple of times….🤣 My absolute favourite is the big “Lalique-ish” bottle stopper with the flower on it😲 Soooo beautiful….in my opinion it deserves a spot in the window.🙌🏼 God Bless you both and good luck on your next adventure🙏🏼♥️🍀👋🏼🇨🇦
Aww! We're happy you're happy 😊 Much love 🥰💕
@@NorthernMudlarks You are so very welcome my friends! Thank you as well for entertaining me…🙏🏼♥️👋🏼🇨🇦
It's always a pleasure to watch Gail and Alex. ❤
Aw thank you! 🥰
I like the mouse violinist for the window. I love the music you chose for the video.
As always nice video and cool finds👍
Best regards from Ireland 👋
Again, you two have outdone yourselfs. I vote for the first side tin for the window. Thanks for all the fun. CL
You ladies and your fabulous finds! Alex, if I were you, I would spend an hour + scraping the area where your mom found that gold coin. What if there are more to be found?!?
So meny great finds, loved the craft boot , and as always a lovely video , Thanks Gail and Alex
🥰
Wonderful finds!
Big foot for the window darling's xxxx
cut glass ink, the amber Oxo bottle for the window. The ceramic spindle you found looks like an electric fence insulator a heavy wire loop was made thru the center hole and the hot wire runs in the groove. Hung so the flat sides are parallel to the ground often used in corners of pasture and paddock. Love you guys
I think the Lalique? little vase would look lovely in the window.
Love your channel, have been watching it for years now. :)
Always fascinating,thankyou ladies!
Wow, Wow, and Wow! What amazing finds!!
Thanks for the adventure.🇨🇦
Alot of smokers , lol. Great finds!
So exciting and lovely to accompany you two finding your "mystery treasures" -love them and most of all love you. Thank you so much.
I Like the little clearer heart ❤️ 💙 💜 💖
Awe, the wee mouse playing the violin. 🤗
Nice finds
You ladies are such a joy to watch and listen to. Thank you for sharing your larking adventures.
Amazing finds 🦋be safe ladies!
Lovely finds.
Lovely finds. Such fun to watch.
That site always produces such great finds. I love the German marbles the most.
I think the cut glass ink well would look nice a sparkly in the window. The mouse violinist is too cute to leave out.
If you Google Orange Shelley Dripware I think that's what the bright orange pottery shard at 37.44 is. Thanks for the info on Peking glass! I was shouting 'It's Peking glass' at the screen, but then it turned out you knew more than I did :-) I think the name has probably been adopted because of the Americans- they love to name everything so they fit into collectors categories. It's really handy for online buying and selling though because you have keywords!
Stupendous finds!
I love seeing everything cleaned up. The mouse should be in the Window of Wonders 😊
i want to see how they get everything so clean
I miss when you guys did a full round up at the end of every video 😭
Mystery object might be a baby pacifier?
Hello 👋 ladies! From Baltimore md,USA. Didn't really look through comments to see if anyone else had identified, what it looks like to me anyway, but the pink, orange, and white glass that Alex found.... looks like a modern, hand-blown cannabis pipe stem. There all shapes and sizes. Pretty durable, but will break. An they've gotten to be a art on there own. If you ask me. Glass blowers have gotten very creative and get paid top dollar for there pieces. I mean it could be something else, but that was the 1st thing I saw. I gotta trust my gut. 😉 anyways, loved your adventures. Till the next one, be safe ladies!
Excellent finds, girls ! 😁
HI!! I LIKE THE MYSTERY ITEM, I THINK IT'S A LID TO A CREAM POT? ALSO I THINK THE BOTTLE OF GOLD SHOULD GO IN THE WINDOW OF WONDERS. GREAT DAY TO SEE YOU OUT AND ABOUT. SEEMS SO SPRING WAS IN THE AIR. THANKS FOR SHARING AND PLEASE STAY SAFE AND HEALTHY ❤️ 🙏
I can't pick a candidate for the Window of Wonders...but instead challenge Alex to make the most beautiful mushroom sculpture with that giant stopper! Pipes, crystal, wood and moss...it's going to be amazing! Thank you both for taking us with you on this adventure!
Oh yes! Good idea! It defiantly looks like a mushroom! xx
@@NorthernMudlarks it does! I can't wait to see what you come up with Alex! Maybe a little metal too, just to round it all out. You're going to make something amazing, I feel it!
I loved the sheep head!
oh yay!! another excursion!! I don't know to save thus for my work nite boredom times or right now!! ok NOW
The awesome Bottle Stopper for the window! Great treasure hunt.
This riverbank has such great stuff in it, love the tiny sheba gold bottle and the textured penny perfume. My favorite is probably the mouse with the violin, I hope you can make him whole again, his little cheesy smile is everything!
You have to bring Mick and Sarah here, love this place,
Really beautiful finds! 🌸❤️
Thank you! xx
I think that white ceramic ring with the hole might be a pacifier for a baby. The round white ceramic things are insulator type things or for tightening up wire fencing. I’d say the mouse playing the violin or fiddle should go in the window. I love that area, you find lots of goodies. You haven’t used your sifter tho since that one time! That would be a good place to do that again. Wonderful video as always!
That orange pottery shard seems special. It would look nice with the other “wonders.”
What a treasure hunt. Great finds.
That word GOLD gets me everytime! great vid and finds!
Great treasures this week, the orange ceramic looks very like Shelley drip ware.
You could totally mount those frozen Charlotte dolls to make them look like broken Greek statues on a stone base. They would make great book shelf decorations.
Y'all found so many great goodies!!! I loved the cut glass ink pot!!
I believe the first white ceramic ring to be an electrical insulator. I find similar ones here in California that are for telephone or telegraph wires.
The small ring with the hole could be a toothbrush holder, attached with a screw or nail near the bathroom sink. I've seen similar ones that sometimes have a matching design with the early soap dish, or other toiletries. Love the videos!, Darin in CA.
