The old man is THE BEST. When you kick the door shut on your brand new combine, than yes YOU ARE THE BEST. GOD BLESS YOU Mr. Brown
Lol
Combine AND tree trimmer! Gleaners never cease to amaze!
Don’t tell Zach, Cole, the Welkers or Chet, but this Gleaner content has pushed you to the top of my RUclips farming playlist!😂
Same! Really excited to see this new content with a machine I always thought looked cool as hell. (Grew up green)
Your dad is helping me understand Southern Drawl. 😊 now back to the lesson. 😂
I’m so happy for your Dad! I love it when our Elders gets a chance to shine and show us why we respect! God Bless you Guys!❤️😏🇺🇸🖖🏼
Wow it's been decades since I ran a combine in my youth, MF750 and a NH TR85 circa 1979-81 my how they've changed!
Glad ya'll are liking the Gleaner, get the fridge fixed and keep "SENDING IT"
Excited to see what planter you fellas get next. I have enjoyed the new combine footage. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
Dont know why I get excited about a random farmer in a different state getting new equipment. 😆 anxious to see what your getting.
The silver pheasant feeder one most underrated machines on the market superb machine let down by lack of dealerships
Nice job Bob & Brian!
Always enjoy the harvest Thanks!
Nice to see the old boy cutting his fields in luxury, heck of a machine!
👍🇨🇦👍
The Gleaner is an awesome looking combine.
Love seeing you and your dad combine with a Gleaner together as father and son. Those silver ghosts are the best! Hope your hand gets healed up before fall harvest!
Thank god a new planter. Love the gleaner
Can’t wait to see the gleaner pushing a 12 row head!
Bob sure makes it sound like Brian really works him hard and never let's him run the good equipment. 🤣😂
Gotta love the Old Man's commitment to his jorts!! My teenage daughter says they are coming back🤣
When you cut green-stemmed beans with your Gleaner, I'd recommend running the rotor in the high range. When we had an S-series Gleaner, the book said to run the rotor in the low range and it was constantly slugging. We got tired of it and started running in the high range and got along great. We were able to adjust to where grain quality didn't suffer and the machine performed great. In the off chance we would slug the rotor with it in high range, we simply opened the concave all the way, opened the stone trap, put the rotor in low range, and it would push it through. Good luck!
Another great video from the brown clan. Glad you made it through harvest safe and sound. Thanks for sharing.
Love the gleaner. I'd love to see your gleaner running side by side with an older gleaner. Be awesome. Have a great week.
The "Power Ladder" is a very nice feature!!💯💯😂 Really like the Gleaner!!🚜🤘🌽🇺🇲🇺🇲
Thanks Brian!! Enjoying the Gleaner content!
I'm not a farmer, but I love Gleaners. My neighbor is a farmer and has always used Gleaners. I've gotten to ride in the cab with him several times. I'd LOVE to operate one someday.
Glad you like the gleaner always thought it was a very good combine
Glad the Gleaner is doing well. Looks good out in the field to.
Rye grass grows in your yard . That’s cereal rye / fall rye / grain rye / drinking rye ! 🥃
Can't call the new gleaner a silver sheeted pheasant feeder - 5 kernels ain't even enuff for a sparrow!! Glad u guys like the new machine!
My dad always ran Gleaners and he called them Galvanized Wonders.
Love the Gleaner..
Beautiful combine
Great content bud. Glad you guys are done already, and double crops too!💯 all good things here
My guess will be a Fendt. Thanks for the vid Have an Awesome day.
Thanks for sharing buddy can’t wait to see the replacement planter I hope it’s a kinze but I’m gonna guess JD lol glad the gleaner is doing good take care buddy god bless everyone
I'm guessing both the case planter and the old grain drill are leaving and a new Sunflower air drill is coming 🌻
Ya ....
Both planters go and I'm saying a 10" planter for both beans an wheat
Glad you like the Gleaner combine. Grea tvideo. Hope your hand is getting better.
I switched my Case planter(worst planter i've ever owned) for a White 6 years ago. Simple, reliable and accurate.
We've found our case planters to be a little more problematic (not as much as brians seems to be) but we like the stand the best out of any we've used (white, kinze, deere). We tried a horsch this year and so far it looks on par with the case maybe a little better.
What size White??? 15”??
Being you got a phone call from the Deere dealer in the video, I'm guessing the red planter's getting replaced with a green one...and glad you like the UM box tender...I was welding just a couple hundred feet from where you loaded that up when you came to the Delphos plant to pick it up!
I'm glad yall are happy with the gleaner. Don't have a clue what you are replacing the case planter with but hope it does better.
You have the best Gleaner combine and the best John Deere tractor. I love Gleaner combines and John Deere tractors.
So far so good, now on to the other crops and see how that Gleaner handles them. Hopefully it goes just as good as the wheat 🌾
Intrested to see how the Gleaner handles corn.
A few years back we literally spread wheat on a field with a fertilizer spreader about the third week of September. Had planned on working it under, but it turned into a really wet fall, and we couldn't get much wheat planted, so we just left it. Never turbo tilled it, just spread it on, and got 110 bushels off that field the next year.
a fendt momentum planter. Loved how that thing flexed!
Probably a horsch avatar or a johndeere airseeder on 10 inch spacing. We plant our wheat with a 40 foot case precision airseeder that we have used for 3 seasons with no issues. Hopefully whatever you buy you like and it works out the best for you. Keep up the good work!
Once again another top video. Glad the Gleaner is working our. Catch you next video
Great content as always Brian. Glad to see your Dad in action. I assume John Deere since you received a phone call. Lol!! Definitely seeya at the next one. Enjoy your videos. Be safe!!
How's the header doing, I know you guys seemed pretty happy with the Macdon, is there anything you like over the Macdon and/or don't like. Also, I think we as the viewer's would also be happy to see that red planter go. It and the other one you guys had, gave y'all a lot of grief over the past few years. But anyway, thanks for the great content, cheers from Southern VA and I hope your hand heals up soon.
We were getting 3 an acre in ne MT last year and 2022
.
No rain... and the Grasshoppers got the rest
Just Love watching that Gleaner GO! And I have 2 Deere’s......🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Ryegrass is a major crop on the farm.down here in New Zealand. It is cut green usually at xmas. Pick a wet day as it stops the tops from shattering. Left in windows for between a week to 10 days and picked up two windows at a time. We only have old 18 ft headers. Danger for us is wind. Can blow seed right out of the head. Manage around 2000lbs acre. Last year pulled in around 170.tons and dressed down with 12% losses. We had rain and nasty wind on windows that spoilt a brilliant crop back to a good harvest result. Bonus for us is the hay we bale afterwards. The ryegrass is left to come away again. Either cut for ballage or left to fatten lambs.
Nice!
*cereal rye
Ryegrass, both annual/Italian and perennial, is a whole different species
You should by a White planter to keep it in the AGCO family.
I have a lot of questions. What variety of ryegrass are you raising? Do you straight cut the ryegrass? What yields do you get?
I think you're gonna be happily surprised in corn. Have always felt like wheat was the short suit with our Gleaner. Problem in corn is there's never enough trucks to keep it away.
I'll be driving by tomorrow night. I'll wave. It's a pleasure to watch you work. I gotta wonder how you are going to harvest standing rye. I've only ever seen it seed harvested from windrows and S L O W moving combines with pickup headers. I look forward to seeing you harvest the ryegrass seed.
We were heading home from Charlottesville va went through your neck of the woods on 35, crossed the scioto river a few times neat country!
Pretty sure you can also plant wheat with it if you are hoping to have it by fall🧐
morning brian, nice content as usual cheers.
Awesome Video and Much Love as Always!!!
I really hope so because the red headed is the first thing the came to my mind everytime your videos show out 🙈🙏 blessings from Costa Rica
Take care of your injury - it sucks to be down a digit, but better to take care of it and get it working right than not be able to use it at all!
Gleaner will shine up after a few hundred acres. Chrome in the rotor and cage will allow crop to flow better. Should be able to push it harder next year

In my wildest dream i hoping for a permanent FENDT MOMENTUM planter demo !!!
I hope so Kansas could use the work...Like to see local made appear all over
That is my hope too but not counting on it. Anything will be better than what they have been dealing with.
@@tomhanks8662 I'm fervently praying on my knees . :)
Thanks
AGCO - New White planter. Fresh out of wrapper. Only planter makes since to hook up to a AGCO tractor.
I think white was discontinued
No, no, no, the “white” planters are currently being advertised on the AGCO website. If I am wrong I will send you a real working mans hat (new).
Seen a brand new Challenger 1038 and brand new white planter in Cherokee County two weeks ago. Good looking combination. I bet it was snuck over from Lamar, Missouri late at nite….
Awesome combine and video also have a great evening
Thanks for watching
One thing I've noticed about new gleaners, is they are pretty darn quiet compared to other. S88 is my experience
Not trying to be picky but that is what we call field rye or cover crop rye. Ryegrass is what we plant for a lawn MFarmer discussed that in one of his podcasts. Ryegrass is considered a weed in my neck of the woods not a cover crop.
I enjoy the auger technology from the 1960’s on the gleaner.
we had a gleaner, that pull with a tractor...so u can see how ago that was...we actually had a grader u pulled with horses..that was before my time....
I had a gleaner then a deere and now want a gleaner again and will get one . Covid dementia I guess
I’m hoping a 16/31 kinze. Hard to beat those for no till beans
Morning one arm 😉😉
Point out something.... Raise the reel up so the batts come in contact with the top third- quarter of the straw.... Result will be less head damage from the batts passing through the depth of the straw.
You folks have helped sell many Gleaners. Maybe AGCO should just give you the draper head!
I tried to get a Gleaner, no build slots till 22!!
Well since you go with all the non big non Red & Green brands already (Gleaner, Fendt, Claas, Oxbo) I'm going to say the new planter is going to be Kinze!
Why haven't you guys tried a kinze planter
A Fendt momentum planter could be cool, and since you have to wait for the planter is either brand new or a demo unit.
A big GREEN planter
Horsch or Deere planter…no one blames you for kicking that Case to the curb! Congrats on completing wheat harvest.
Rye grass video be good to!! Figure you will. Looked like Dad tried to harvest a pine tree!!!!! Enjoyed harvest. Let it rain. Watched this Monday 5:15. See y’all have had .1 and more coming. Let it rain!!!
I would guess a John Deere since that was the John Deere dealer calling
That’s what I thought too
Fingers crossed!
The Deere was to much of a clue , I’m going AGCO Fendt !
I really like my kinze planter
I’m guessing and pretty confident it will be a JD planter but we shall see. Btw what’s the update for the new shop? Just curious. Thanks for the video!!
Love the ventilation and weight reduction comments. Nice dry humor
Me thinks he’s been watching too much Vice Grip Garage 😂😂😂
Your AGCO dealer is VERY happy
Awesome video as always. Brian I'm so glad you let dad drive the gleaner. I got so excited I started to cry lolololol. Is the head on the gleaner easier to hook than the Claas or harder?
Good afternoon. I see that you have a Crown C-5.. I work at the engine plant in Troy Ohio that builds that engine. Hope you like it👍
Im going with a deere just because of the deere call
I’m going with that is why the Deere salesman called
Fendt momentum would be a good choice to replace the case
I am gonna be done my eye by the end of next week about the first time in alberta I harvest the same as you down there. 3.5 inches of rain may have sped that along. Lol. Good luck with the gleaner
I’m guessing either a new Fendt momentum, possibly a new white or John Deere planter, Kinze??? But I’d bet a paycheck it won’t be a red case IH 🤣🤣.
Also I’m curious Brian, is it more cost effective to broadcast or drill the wheat 🌾?
Good news !
Glad to hear the right choice on the right equipment for the right production.
You did a great jod so far bring the Farms and equipment upgrades in to the future.
Socialism now that sounds good.
The Gleaner looks like the Chariot in the original LOST IN SPACE tv 📺 show !
Another good one men.
I would love to see a kinze but I’m guessing a deer
Great video guys
