Watching you guys get giddy was contagious. Nice work.
300+. Happy for you hard work pays off. Every mans fortune is another mans misfortune pray for Zach and the Welkers.
It's always a Good Morning when you wake up
True
Whoo Hoo that's some awesome 🌽
May the move for your Mom go peacefully for her and she accepts the change gracefully. May you all be blessed and comforted by God's Amazing Grace through this. 💜🤗
We cut 100 bu/A wheat one year (average is 50). What I remember is how slow it was -- combine in low gear, variable speed in slowest setting, always looking for a truck or grain cart,
Then we'd get home and it would take twice as long to get ready for bed because it took so long to brush all the dirt out of your teeth because you were grinning all day!
My father in law still runs a Gleaner 1972 model G. She no beauty queen but she gets it done.
Alot of farms I'm following are seeing over 300 bushels per acre. It's terrific. I'm praying that my grandmother's corn is that good. Have a great week.
Nothing wrong with gleaners . We love ours they work extremely well and the cost of ownership is low. We have the same amount of acres per hour ran with 2 s98 gleaners as we had with 2 johndeere s680s if not more . The most impressive part is the grain sample we have no cracked corn no cob in the tank even in 250 - 300 bushel corn. I'd put my gleaner up against any other brand the only machine I think might do better would be a claas 8900 . We have ran case and johndeere as well and they are nice machines but we like our gleaners . Take care!
In high bushel corn were you taking your bottom sieve out
@@BriansFarmingVideos dad tried and it helped some with the loss but I think dad put his back in and it worked out well I left mine in all along with no issues. We honestly aren't seeing to much loss maybe 1 or 2 kernels for every foot or so at the most but in 180 to 200 bushel dry corn we aren't seeing hardly any corn on the ground We figure we'll just send it . Our corn is running from 18 to 24 percent we switched back to corn today because it rained yesterday. We are thinking tomorrow the corn will run .
You know what variety to plant next year in most of your fields. An outside row doing 300 that is unexpected and a surprise.
That gleaner is walking the dog…..😃
Heck I would be doing some soil samples and remembering what seed you planted there. Then try to repeat that somewhere else on the farm for next year. That’s awesome to see yields that high. Congratulations on that.
Hopefully your mom's move went smoothly. In times of trouble, it has been wonderful to see how a family "should" pull together to take care of it's own. My hat is off to how you all are handling this... especially to Bob who made as nice a plea to others to place the highest value on each day several videos ago. We know how difficult this is for him.... how real it is... every day.
Congratulations on the high yielding corn. After the last couple of years with various disasters it's nice to see some positive results for a change.
When it sounds like you're running rocks through your combine then it is really good corn.
So so glad for yall....you made some nice investments in the farm and great to see them paying it back to a family that deserves it
Thanks
Great Brown Farms Video, thanks for sharing
That is awesome good job on the The farming thanks for your videos Brian
Never harvested 340 bushel corn before....never had a power ladder on your combine before. Obviously it's the power ladder that made the difference 😁
Lol
How much .Where and to get farming machines
300bu is amazing. Congratulations. Glad to see everyone excited about it.
Thumbs up for 300bu corn, that's for sure. Hope it continues to go so well for you.
Thanks.
Love the Gleaner
Wow I've shelled a lot of corn but 300 bushel that's is amazing I think that glener is awesome
God Bless your mom on her move and I hope you and your family can make her feel at home in her new place. Congrats on the "giddy" harvest, now if the prices would just cooperate!
She’s adjusting very well. Thanks for watching
That’s amazing Brian nice to see after a lot of hard work
Thanks Brian for another fantastic video of your getting the crops done! All the best for you.
Congrats on your high yield corn B, keep them coming
So glad to see you keep your sense of humor, even in the crummy times
Love the gleaner
Congratulations for this huge yielding corn! Good job!
Nice view from the driver seat. Glad everything is going well. That's amazing 340 bushel corn, you got to thrilled look at those happy faces 😀 Keep the action. I'll seeya at the next one that comes out. You all stay safe!!
Congratulations on the corn yield. Hope the rest of the farm runs equally as well.
Thank you for sharing your video with us...
Thanks for watching
You will be building that farm shop soon with that kind of corn.
Happy for you. Tremendous yields!
Awesome guys. Loved the expression on Bob’s face. Priceless Brian
Thanks for watching
Nice one! Glad the harvest is going well. 👍
Hi Brian, thought you might of come out with a Good Afternoon, with 300bu. Well done love to see you all smiling.
So glad y'all's yelds in corn 🌽 are awesome 💯 5 ⭐ video love it God bless y'all from South Carolina viewer 🙏❤️💯
Good afternoon. Glad ya'll have good bushels of corn. Inputs are working. Working words too follow......lol.
And the gleaner for the win!
Gleaner proved itself today.
Congratulations on the corn yields 👍👍
Just wanna wish your Mom, and the rest of the family the very best of luck with your moms new "Home" I do hope that they have real good caretakers and she will be able to feel safe and comfortable every day.
And that you all will have a great, safe and enjoyable harvest.
I assume that your 300 bushel corn has 14,196 lbs of dry matter in one acre. That is a very good yield for Ohio! If you can make 340 bushels for the National Corn Growers contest that will be a winner.
Awesome corn yield! I worked on a farm years ago in high school, still miss harvest almost 30 years later. They ran a Gleaner R66, if a recall correctly. Seemed to be a great combine.
It’s like when my nets so full I can’t pull it onto the boat! Great job Brother’s! All the hard work and plans have paid off and on a drought year too!! ❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸😏
Really enjoy your videos. Good to see your Dad on his own and hear his commentary. Hope you get rid of the rats. That's one reason I couldn't be a farmer. They freak me out.
Kevin Bien is smiling down on you guys. 😎
Love the BobCam!
Praise God for some good news this year! Been a rough one for some.
Wow glad to hear you are haveing a good harvest in the corn there awesome. The morning thing hey buddy I do that 4 days a week and with a lot less enthusiasm. I have the privilege of only having to work 4 days a week. 😀👍👍👏👏👏
Always exciting to see high yields. Makes everyone happy.
That’s some impressive yields! Keep up the good work!
Thanks for watching
Happy for you. Not a Gleaner fan but that is impressive. Have a great harvest
So sorry for you guys about your mother.
Nothing like the love of your mother.❤️❤️
looks to be a great harvast. Congratulations!
Great vid silver legend getting her done.
Another well kept harvester secret 🤫
I enjoyed my time working on the Gleaner combines, they were pretty maintenance friendly, and I've always just liked the way the look haha.
Brian, your little face when Dad was talking about the field corn. Great to see you happy knowing what you have to do tomorrow. Well they do say you reap what you sow. Stay safe family and I hope it all goes well tomorrow with Mum.
Browns you’ve earned this record harvest!!
Thanks
Brian, congratulations. Nothings better than making the best yields you’ve ever had. Good luck with harvest.
It was great to see you and your dad combing that 300 plus bushel corn
340 bushel corn! Who's your Daddy? Corn Stars? LOL Hope it's that way in every field!
Also congrats on that awesome corn!
You guys look like kids in a candy store with those grins. Have a safe harvest!
Hope the good harvest continues
Great vid again Brian
Great awesome video Brian , far as I’m concerned the gleaner is the best by far ,
Very impressive by your yield by bushels by acre
Never seen u guys so happy in corn in a long time
First Strike soft bait is what we use around our farm. Works fantastic, haven't seen a mouse or rat on the farm for years.
Congratulations on 300!!
Pretty impressive Brian, you might have more like that this year the way the year has been 😉
Sounds great!
God bless.
Brian The Gleaners around here did a fine job at the separator. The trouble was Gleaner did not get good headers until the late 1980s. Prior to that they where behind the competition. So the majority of the Gleaners ran Bish header adaptors and JD headers.
Will be interesting to know if the strip tilling made the difference or conditions! Keep up the good content Brian you guys are smashing harvest
GOD bless your mom your dad's wife wow my wife had a stroke we are battling insurance etc. From my family too yours we are hopeful stay positive brown family!
Thanks. Good luck to you too
350 bushel corn with todays prices is great ! 1995 i had an Seed Alfalfa seed crop on 160 acres that went 1500 lbs. an acre clean with a contract price with the seed company for for $3.25 lb. and they paid the trucking and cleaning !!! I loved it Farming back then the next year had even a better crop but 1 day before harvest we had a 60-70 mph wind come threw and dropped the yield to 300 lbs. per acre . a farmers always a gamble !!! Turned 65 this year and I'm retiring before I blow 3 million on new equipment!!!
glad you did get to see high yeild corn it not uncommon but not all see it. the cleaner i think your dad really likes it. and the other day you going pretty good with it. i think you made a good buy on this one
That's awesome. Glad to see yall are making some great corn! Tell your trolls to show you another combine making that many bushels with almost no loss!
I use to turn wrenches on gleaner combines. They are a great machine
It isn't poison, but the best rat killer I've ever had is a thing called a rat zapper. Its like a electrified trap you put out with some bait in it. They walk in... zap zap their lights go out.
Great video Brian!!
Thanks for watching
I agree with the folks saying get the Just one Bite brand, the yellow bars. Works great. They also make a type called Rodentex that is even better , but a bit harder to find.
Looks like the silver legend handles 300 bushel corn at 25 % moisture with no problem and with no lost that’s pretty impressive you should have ran the demo through that corn to see it could do as good as the silver legend
300 plus, a silverlegend, happy bossman, need anything else? Hope that everything stays working so we can see more of that, thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
WOW!! I’ve seen the monitor hit 300 but not stay there! Congratulations 😁
Fun to see you guys getting excited over 300 on the monitor. We get that all the time with irrigation in the desert, but instead of trees ruining the edges, it's 100+ heat and 30mph wind. So 300 in the middle and 50 on the edges= regular old 200 something field average.
What elevation are you at and relative maturity are you using? Nice job
@@leemarchant7191 Just shy of 3700ft. Around 113 days for grain, and 118 for silage.
@@maxpower9499
That’s pretty good!
Mr Bob's expression said it all. Great job Brown farms good job guys. That ought to shut the trolls down on tic tok. Let's face it the trolls only run a combine on a farming game simulator.
It is great to see your dad so happy. Good video
I am really jealous watching you do what I would love to do. I get to drive a tractor from time to time but spend most of my time in a shop making gears
Perfect!
You know a Farmer is happy when he is in his combine, smiling 😊 and says I can’t believe this. Your dad was probably happier that he got to shell it with his Gleaner vs the other combine.
Bob cam is the bomb!!!
I hope it keeps up looks like the gleaner is doing good hope things went well for all regarding your moms move
All we ever ran was gleaner, grandpa started with a E back in the 70s. 4 machines later we got a R50 which has been basically bulletproof for 15 years. Crazy how similar it is too the new gleaners yet
Gleaner was light years ahead back then, the other colors still haven't caught up.
Nice corn!
Wish there was a way to do a double thumbs up, one for the 300 bu corn and one for the reaction of you and your dad. Remember this when something goes wrong.
This small town near us is getting ready for Octoberfest and they will be doing a combine demolition derby
All the work, all the nights, all the weekends, all the working words. Sometimes it just pays off. Congratulations on the yield. I hope the rest of that field comes in about the same.
great vlog. great crop
That Gleaner is the doing great!!!!!
Love the vids! Small individual bags of dcon pellets. Poke hole in it so rats can smell it. They will drag the whole bag into their holes. Worked for me anyways.
