When I saw Jackie go into cardiac arrest, I was petrified I thought that she was going to die. I thought that Dusty was going to be a widower and a single father and that his sons would grow up without their mother.
As a fellow medic, I cannot even begin to admire Dr. Hooker enough in how he handled this medical emergency situation together with their obstetrician Dr. Cashner. These are the people who truly inspire me.
It’s happened to me as well on my shifts, about to go home and then a patient becomes unwell suddenly. You don’t think, you act autonomously. Comes with the territory.
It’s been 28 years since this happened. Thank goodness Jackie is all right as well as her daughter Morgan Anne Marie. I wonder if they have grandchildren now.
I did this on my job for years. I started as an ECG/EMT-D, THE latter of which no longer exists. I used to think these doctors threw away titles too fast, even the reasonable & nice ones. I kept having to learn new material and getting new titles. They retired 3 of my titles, none of their own, though.
Why does it say that the wife died in the description? If you watch the video you would know that she is alive and well. You should probably change that.

My friend at that time gave me CPR at his apartment until I came back. He didn't call 911 or anything. He didn't even get me down to the floor, either. He just gave me CPR while I was still on his mattress. But when I came back, he said that if I didn't come back when I did, he was going to stop and call 911 and have them take over. But, luckily he didn't need to go that far. This was a few years ago. I was in mid 30s. Now I am 40.

Doctors ALWAYS save the Life of the Mother, The Mother's Life is far more important than a stupid baby. The pregnancy can be terminated if need be, You NEVER let a Mother die.
