  • New footage from inside of the Uvalde school shooting is causing renewed outrage over the police response. The bodycam video shows former Uvalde school police chief Pete Arredondo negotiating with the gunman. Retired LAPD Sergeant Cheryl Dorsey says " to hear him try to negotiate with an active shooter in real time as those babies were being massacred is nonsensical. It is a clear lack of leadership and incompetence."

I saw the video of how he just mindlessly opened fire as the one kid was turning the corner to go back to class from the bathroom, and I wish I had been a police officer on the scene because I would have shot through the door to the room he was in and yelled something along the lines of "I'm going to kill you, you m----f-----!!" and started lighting the shooter up. hard and tough with parents trying to save their kid, real marshmallow with the killer.
Then back to hard and tough with a mother that made them look bad by showing more courage than all of them combined

How'd he expect the shooter to respond exactly?
    "Please stop shooting"
"Oh well, okay, if you say so, sorry, my bad."

Yes, they needed to “charge” the room as officers should and be aggressive, and not stand outside and be polite with a crazy teen waiting for him to come to his senses and “do the right thing.”
You’re the “idiot” that can’t understand that.
A crazy kid with one gun against many cops with many guns. Yes, waiting and being polite is the answer. 😐

Every Public schools should have a security checkpoint where they check your bags with a full body scanner like the ones they have in the airport so there wouldn’t be any school shooters.

This could’ve been prevented by simply locking the doors.
