Darn Moles! A new spring means new moles in the yard.
I was doing battle with moles. Tried poison, tried the old-fashioned trap with the spikes, tried home remedies. NOTHING WORKED. Then I found out what the local MoleMan was using to catch moles and charge $60 per mole! He has a truckload of these traps he sets in the afternoon, pulls out the moles in the morning and gets paid! Buy your own and stop them dead!
Comments about the trap being too big or not working are false and will be deleted. If you found something better, make a video and let the world know about it because THESE traps KILL MOLES and are nearly 100% effective.

How do you release the mole from the trap?

you just squeeze it and the mole falls out.

I just got two of these and set them. I am having trouble finding where to put the trap. Their little trails are hard to find in my yard and the ones I do see don’t look recent. I have recent mound activity but the trails don’t look recent. Hopefully I can get these suckers because they have ruined my back yard. Luckily they haven’t ruined the front yet.

It can be hard to tell where the main trails are. I set them in the morning when the sun is low, makes them easier to see. You might also have to move them around a bit. Good luck

Matt Rosendaul are you piercing them ground with the scissors centered on the tunnel, then stepping on it to activate? I got one just like this from tractor supply. It hasn’t sprung once, even dry fired once. Wonder what I’m doing wrong. Because mole activity is definitely still present

In 2019 the BOSS Daddy of Mole Traps is the Wire Tek 1001 EasySet Mole Eliminator Trap. Don't fall for the knock offs, I use them. Got it online, 40 bucks, but it will stop the damage to your lawn & gardens, which is far more than 40 bucks to repair. Just keep resetting it until they move on elsewhere, or die out. Thing works big time and well built with thick gauge metal and strong springs, even made is good ole USA. MAGA 2020

I'll have to tell my parents about these. Their yard is crazy-full of moles. It's causing some dangerous conditions with a lot of holes that could lead to a lot of falls or twisted ankles. I'd hate to have to use them myself because I'm an animal lover and I'd cry every time I saw it had caught one! But I also know how much damage moles can cause. I'll just make sure I'm not around when they check the traps!
