We kept finding ants in our shower but couldn’t figure out where they were coming in. We set out a bait trap in order to locate the hole and kill the colony.
That’s awesome you managed to get control of your ant invasion. Glad that bait kit worked for somebody out there, because we tried both hot shot and raid with both failing miserably. Not sure if it’s bc we live in WA state and maybe the species over here reacts differently? The pre-baited consumer bait traps like the one in your video just has 0 effect on killing my invaders. Shoot, they don’t want anything to do with the damn thing. Even if I plop it smack in the middle of an ant trail, they just continue marching around it and I imagine them with a thought bubble that reads, “no you stupid human, we had an ant safety seminar and we learned never to venture into one of those no matter how sweet the treats inside may smell!” lol
I have actually used this , my problem was in the kitchen and kid’s bedroom. I set it down on the window sill and left it . I haven’t seen an ant since last summer!!!
Arrgh! I hope my traps work,....just set them out,...where I saw no ants,.....now it looks like an Ant Convention,.....and it has only been an hour. I'm in a house that is 100 years years old,.....too many cracks and crevices, to even consider trying to seal.

Matt, don’t clean up so soon the ants as the ants will be like zombie killing each other as they touch the dead ants.

It's hard to not kill the scouts. I just put out 4 bait traps, hopefully this works.
If the ants are dying right then its too much poison and not reaching the queen
