Goed
Goed hoor
Why can't we just buy these complete from you instead of building them ourselves?
@@mbusomkhwanazi48 asshhh!!! really? simple, the idea of the video tutorial it's for people who enjoy "building yourself stuff". You are extremely lazy to build one just visit eBay or your local store and find something similar.
@@cassiellightman Mr Lightman, I live in South Africa.I believe the person who posted this lives in SA too. EBay is not an option here. The only products we have here are those cheap plastic speakers or the very expensive ones. There is nothing like this on the market. I cannot buy the tools and build myself because i dont have the space nor the tools to have a workshop. I am speaking based on my own circumstances. I don't understand why you would pass such scathing judgement on me to call me extremely lazy. I don't know how you were raised but please show some respect and decency.
Great build! I really like the slotted port design.
Thanks man!
Kirby Meets Audio Aye anyone knows how to make a portable hotspot a personal one. I am working on a project and I want wifi installed

Fantastic looking build! I think the look of veneer on a very nicely cut piece of plywood looks wonderful the way you did it.
Wspaniałe wykonanie i mistrzostwo w ręku. Nie widziałem lepszego projektu i wykonania ręcznego od powyższego SUPER !!!
your art, the music selection, just delete any feeling in me and clear my head, I enjoyed watching your work because it made feel better and it cleared my head and just amazed of your skills.
really good job man
Thanks man!
Very nice. Only thing I would suggest is that the power cord comes in to the foot so you do not see it hanging down from the box.
I really like the design aesthetic of this build! I've been planning out a speaker bar for several months and your bus struck me. I really like that you've left the plywood exposed on the edges
Thanks
I like how you did the port. And of course the cantilever stand too.
Thanks.
Mesmerising to watch. Amazing craftsmanship and great music. Thanks!
Thanks
Wow 💯!! Just Mindblowing 🔥
Great Build !! Keep it up 👍
That is sensational, and significantly better than the first build (despite it being fantastic also). love the channel, love what you're doing mate, awesome stuff!
Thank you!
Awesome design mate... Timeless! Perfect piece on a console top!
Thanks
Great job! Gave me some ideas for my next project. Just ordered the same amplifier board to test out.
Cool 😎
Love this design. Thanks again for detailed information
Thanks
You're very good at designing.
Thanks
Отличная работа !!!
Hey. great video! Please inform what acoustics installed, a link if possible.
sick! love the design, great job
Thanks
This is exactly the type of box i am wanting to build for my garage shop.
Great work !!!
Great build. But i think that the AC shout be installation outside of speaker incase of prevent the vibration and noisy inside
That's an awesome speaker! Great job!
Thank you
Thanks again for detailed information
Pleasure
Really great build sir, I wanted to build the same, please suggest that what are the ideal box dimensions if we use the w6 1139sf TB sub, and also port size? Waiting for reply.
That's legit, keep up the good work.
Thanks
Muy profesionales tus trabajos!!!
Tx
Great Music and great boombox
Thanks
Aw-some !!
If I may suggest,... I would have routed the power input cord thru the cantilever bottom plate to make it "invisible"...
Your work and skill make me dream....
Thanks. Yes I've had a few suggestions for that. Hindsight...
Awesome build!
Thanks
perfect work! well done!
Thanks!

SoundBlab awesome build man..I'm doing a custom Boombox of Rockford Fosgate 6.75 speakers and power by a TPA3116D2 (100w x 2) you think a 24v / 5A switch power supply will be great for this amp?
Amazing! Well done!!!
Thanks
Very cool man, i love the music too.

It's amazing! Good job, bro!)
p.s. From Russia with love ;)
Thanks!
OMG that was awesome!!!
Thanks!
Could you do a video explaining how you design the enclosure and calculated the volumes and port size etc? Great build, thanks for sharing.
I want to do a more conventional speaker build next year. I can include it in that.
Awesome i will look forward to it, Thanks
Anyway, an exceptional job!
Thanks
Great build!! But I would like to see how it sounds. Plz make sound testing video soon.
Check the video after this one on my channel

I need a list of names and see by titles for the songs played throughout the entire video. can anyone help me out please.
Excellent stuff...and very well made..how about adding couple of neodymium tweeters, one 5'' Passive radiator and more Polly fill ? does that make sense ?
That sound like I should do an upgraded design on this...
Is amazing 👏👏👏👏
Thanks

Thanks man.
Nice work and nice music selection. Bravo!👍👍
Awsome build and its great to see a fellow safa representing.. quick question did you port or seal the visaton speakers ?
Thanks! They are sealed.
Local is Lekker ::: Love it !
Dankie!
de cuantos vatios es el amplificador
Cuales son los materiales nos puedes decir
Awesome build. Did you not have any concerns with mains voltage in a wooden box though?
The box is vented, so it does not give any problems with heat etc.
poderia me passar as medidas dela queria fazer uma igual
I know that subwoofer driver, it can move absolute heaps of air so I see no way that thin slot-port will every be able to handle it
Good observation. The port is somewhat of a compromise to allow a reasonable enclosure volume. When driven to very high volumes it will make a noise, but at normal listening levels, which I am intending this to be mostly used at it works fine.
That makes sense, there's always gonna be some compromise, the enclosure would otherwise become unwieldy big. I really like the cantilever design btw
Thanks
To reduce the noise of the ports it helps a lot to round the ends of it with. Less turbulence, less noise, less loss of energy.
What if he had used a passive radiator that was the same size as the subwoofer that was on the same panel?
great work. how do you adjust the volume, eq when the amp is inside?
Thanks. Volume preset on the amp and then adjusted with the bluetooth playback device, e.g. phone.
Wow. This guy is really good. Very impressed.
awsme design sir really awsme
Thanks
One suggestion. Since you are selling those plans, how about you messure the frequency response of the speakers. The 44 Hz - 20000 Hz (-3dB) doesnt really give out any information. Knowing the frs 8 i can say that especially the high frequencies are not that clean and since its a broadband speaker the directionality wont be that nice either.
Also it would be nice if you could record the speakers a bit louder. I would guess that the port would give you some noises.
I really like the design but i would like to know the sound of the speakers before i would start to build them.
Check out the sound test clip of this build here ruclips.net/video/p_GI_dw41wI/видео.html
I will do a FQ response soon when I get some time and upload to my website. The port does produce some noise when pushed to the limits, but it was intentional to achieve an ideal enough enclosure size, not too big. The design of this speaker was really to make something that will produce good sound at moderate listening levels. Not really a party boombox, and by the time you pump up the volume too far, the full range drivers will start to scream a bit, but that is mostly due to the bluetooth limitations of the amplifier.

Realy dosen't see any test the ending processis no cool
Very nice project! I'll start a DIY Bluetooth portable speaker on my channel. I have electronics background, but I don't know about woodwork. I think your project can help me. How do you calculate the port size?
Thanks. You can use the driver Thiele Small parameters and this calculator www.mh-audio.nl/reflexboxcalculator.asp to determine the box volume and port size.
What are these tools for applying pressure called?
Hello, my english is bad!
Muchas gracias!!!
Nice job !
Where to find the insulation tape you use for the speakers please ?
Its generally known as weather strip. Find it here on Amazon amzn.to/2g0Pgir
Wow
What did you set your amplifier gains too ? As they aren’t accessible once screwed together
In the build plans I give an indication of that, but some tweaking can obviously be made depending on personal taste.
for the width and height of how many centimeters sir
Отлично.
Thanks
I liked
It was great
Thanks
Really good work, but the background music is about frying cats
Do you use the miniDsp to previously test and then choose the right internal crossovers?
With this build no MIniDSP was involved. The bluetooth amplifier board has an built-in crossover set by one of the pots. It's easy enough to tune by ear, but I tend to take measurements with my microphone and software to get the optimal crossover point.
Lekker Boet!
Dankie!
Uitstekend!
Dankie!
How did it sound???
great speaker! can you tell me what glue the fabric is attached to?
It is contact cement
i like your work , keep up .... i am a bit jelus :P
Hey thanks!
You can't get to the amplifier to adjust something ...
And why not lead the connection cables down into the platform or into the intermediate piece in order to connect the cables there? So they hang on top of the case ...
