TV3 Mic Christopher Interview

22nd February 2001 - Mic Christopher was the lead singer of the Mary Janes for 10 years. In that time they toured the world, notably a stint in Bosnia with Warchild where they worked with children doing Music therapy. In this interview, Mic talks about his time with the Mary Janes and his emerging solo career as well as a serious motorcycle accident that left him on his back for three months. Sadly, Mic passed away 9 months after this interview following a tragic accident while on tour. He was 32.

Mic was an amazing talent. I knew a lot of people that graced Grafton St. in Dublin with their presence and music.

Karl was a very good friend of mine, I was talking to him a couple of days before Xmas and he said he would come down to Tramore and stay with me for a bit, Elaine rang me Xmas day and told me, I miss him a lot. Peace mo chara x.

They say he was lucky that he was not dead or paralysed his motorbike accident he was in. But sadly 9 months later he was in an accident that he is dead from which was he was walking out of a bar that had steps and he tripped and hit his head.
