Bored of their Laughing one of my favorite albums and still sends chills down my back when i listen to it reminding me of the live gigs which were amazing.
Watched it noticed one interviewee sneakily raised glass to show the word "guinness" emblazoned on itas heyday played in background as it was used in guinness ad back in 2003
I remember meeting him in Leap back in the day. Especially the time that Mic, Glenn were playing in Connolly's and waiting on Damien Rice to eventually arrive. Fond memories but Mic wasn't so nice to his fans.
I'd love to see the film.. broke up with my girlfriend of the day at the Sham release gig! Good times! I only recently found out about it... Is there any way to get a dvd or digital download?
Oh Dear - he wasn't that great. I more than loved him in the 90s and met him in Connolly's, Leap, Co Cork and he was a withholding and unpleasant man. I adored his musics from years before and he was just awful.
Pretty much, but in saying that, it shouldn't diminish his reputation as an artist, his work with the Mary Janes and his album skylarkin' was genuinely fantastic.
What an amazing artist! So sad he's gone.
Fantastic, he was a good mate back in the late 80s - early 90s in Dublin and London. Sorely missed.

It is just music.
Saw it today at Kerry Film Fest. Excellent documentary. 👍
Is there anyway I can watch this film now? (late 2020.) Thanks.

You can't really say something like that without an explanation.
A pretty shitty thing to say a) without elaborating, and b) when the person you’re speaking of isn’t around to defend themselves
Where can I find the full film?
@@Cloud007. It's showing in the IFI on Sept 28th

Karl should be here on this...
What do you mean?
Did he have just the one well known song in Ireland?
