This is amazing. I've seen Hansard live many many times and met him twice but this little film shows another side to him, a lesser known side, a great side. Deadly, as we say in Dublin.
The more I learn about him the more I like him!! Lovely fella 😊
It kind of sounds like he was a nobody before the Oscar or the movie but the fact is that Glen has been one of Ireland’s highest regarded musicians for a long time now it’s just that now he’s being truly recognised worldwide!

I was first "introduced" to Glen back in the day when ONCE was released and I've loved his music ever since. Never knew he grew up with an abusive alcoholic father like me. In a weird way it makes sense - beautiful music like his doesn't just happen.

Real artist filled with emotions and had struggled to achieve what he deserved..and a real gentleman and loving son..how great to find such a wonderful talented people making their lives by spreading love and music to the others.
