Looks like the dealer marked my 8,000 mile service “complete”. Interesting. The app allowed me to mark it as not complete. Thanks for the video

Thanks! I bought my EV6 Wind in Sep-2022. I haven't done any repair/maintenance except for addressing the tire pressure in Apr-2023. I checked the app and it had somehow marked the 8,000 and 16,000 miles maintenance as completed. I had to manually mark them as incomplete.

Hey Jeff do you know if there is a way to prevent the side mirrors from rotating down when you select reverse gear? When I back into my driveway that cuts my view. Can't find anything about it in settings. Thanks.
Yep just move the button that allows you to choose the left or right mirror to the center. It only goes down in reverse if you leave it on the left or right side.

We have a First Edition and it was not in the convenience section. When I did the voice search it showed it in the cluster settings.
What wasn't in the convenience section?
I'm going to see how long I can avoid bringing it into the dealer for any kind of maintenance especially if it is just for inspections. I didn't buy this car to bring it in to the dealer on the same schedule as oil changes. Last time I brought it in the dealer had no clue what to do an ended up opening a techline which didn't get a response from Kia for about 4 days and then I just took the car back because I didn't want it to sit.
Yeah I'm not a fan of maintenance that is minor. BUT for me, since it's a new model I wanted to make sure the dealership had a look at some aspects of it to make sure nothing looks off. I'll likely do most all of it myself from here on.
I have a wind with tech package. I do not have the service interval option in setup|vehicle|convenience. Have you run across this?
Hmm I have not seen it just not there... Maybe try the voice control and see if you can get to it?

Imm buying an EV6 and they are selling me a 5 year maintenance package for 753€, can you please tell me if it’s worth it to buy or not? The car is from March 2022.
Possibly depending on how far you drive
I have less than 2000 miles on my EV6 so far, but somehow the 8,000, 16,000 and 24,000 mile maintenance checks got marked as complete. Any idea how I can reset them?
That's happened to me too. If you go into the app and maintenance history you can delete them.
@@TechnicallyJeff thanks for the tip! I had to click each one, edit it and mark it incomplete. All back to normal now 6097 miles left till my next service 😀

Great video! I’m still hoping to get an EV6 Wind AWD with Tech Package. Biden removing the Kia EV6 not being eligible for the $7,500 Tax Credit on 2023 models. Must be manufactured in the U.S. Kia is planning on manufacturing at their Georgia Facility in 2023. Start date TBD.
Thanks Ron! Hopefully it becomes eligible soon. I know the administration was supposedly in discussions with the Hyundai Motor Group (Hyundai, Kia, Genesis) regarding the tax credit.
In newzealand we can tow 1600 kg or3527 pounds.
