- This is not a publicity stunt, this is an actual issue that needs to be resolved as Samsung has completely ignored my findings on this issue.
The S24 Ultra screen protectors are not wide enough for the display causing bright flashing green and pink vertical lines down the sides of the phone that could cause a seizure for a person with epilepsy.
If you have this product, take photos and videos and send them to Samsung.
Contact the Health Commission for your country and report the same findings with Samsung's response so they can investigate the issue with higher authority until this issue is resolved before it's too late.
I can't see any colour flashing on the side of the screen. Your video is out of focus and doesn't explain the main point, hence it's useless
Some people are never happy. This is a nitpicking example.
Protector clearly fits
Bro is nitpicking 😂
I received 2 screen protectors with my s24 ultra. I messed up the first one, I did a better job with the second one but got some dust right on the edge. I left it on and ordered two more from amazon. I hadn't noticed that it wasn't wide enough until I watched your video. The new ones arrived the other day, so I fitted one. I removed the glue strip on the side of the plastic alignment tool, and this corrected the off centre problem. I also think the new one is wider but still doesn't quite cover the whole screen. I also noticed the strange blue/green effect on the first set it doesn't seem to be a problem on the second set, and I don't think it's as reflective. The first ones were manufactured November 23, and the replacement was January 24. The replacement screen protector is a genuine Samsung part and seems to be much better than the ones that arrived with the phone.
You can clearly see it's applied incorrectly
how?
Case friendly protectors are always shorter on the sides than the full surface area of the screen. Unfortunately the packaging probably doesn't mention that it is case friendly. If you slap a case on it that gap will disappear. The color bands that appear might persist with a case. I had a similar issue on a LG phone years ago and the case stopped the prism effect from the protector. The majority of people put cases on their phones so the screen protector reflects that information. They should really sell larger ones for people who daily drive a naked phone. Also damn that is super reflective. You saved me $25. When I first bought my S21 the screen completely died on me and Samsung wiped my phone and threw a screen protector on it. The protector didn't hit any of the corners. Guess that's how they roll. Just in case you were wondering glass screen protectors are also case friendly.
Except not taking quality video means you have no proof. If it's such an important issue to you, you should have taken care to do things right instead of rushing. Perhaps you have a faulty device.... I don't see any flashing light with what you've shown. I have epileptic friends so would have liked to be sure. Guess I'll check when mine arrives.
If that is what is going to cause epileptic seizures other than the million other things that are not related to this phone issue, then I must have missed something.
With such small bezels and 2.5d curve edges, I don't think you are meant to cover the entire screen perfectly with the screen protectors😅
Are the same she's curved? Short screen protectors have been issue for years, but maybe more issue with the coating?
This is how all screen protectors are designed, even the SP I have on my phone has the spacing on the sides, as for the flashing your talking about, there is no flashing what so ever, and no concern for epileptics, I know this because, I myself am epileptic.
They took S23Ultra phone measurements during manufacturing
Are you filming this with an iPhone? It’s blurry
iPhone have better recording than any other phone and I’m currently carrying an s23 ultra
@@tinobino6332 better? 😂😂😂
Put a case on it?
Here’s the problem with smaller bezels, you’re going to have some “bleed” on the side because they have to make it smaller to allow room for cases.
As per your query, we will surely assist you regarding the same. This is to inform you that the Galaxy S24 series model has been adjusted for colors and brightness for more accurate and comfortable vision while using. It has made some changes to the display technology to offer a more natural viewing experience, so you may notice differences in color depth when compared to older devices.
This concept of behavior on the display is an intended color adjustment and is not a defect of the product, so you can use it with confidence. To provide our customers with the best possible experience, we value customer feedback and continually improve our software (UX) as market and consumer interests evolve.

Its the refresh rate of the oled. ...just get Scare+ and dont put a screen protector...
I got my screen protectors for free. And you're right they do not fit the screen properly. I just took it off cus it was too reflective.
You should apply memoren screen protector. Glass won't fit nicely because of small Bezel
i agree the protector does not fit, bit the epilepsy story is nonsense.
wow.
use fix focus!
I'm lost
is this a joke?
Same things happens with my friends iPhone
Skills issue tbh
There is a gap to allow for cases… pointless video
its a case friendly screen protector, if it went all the way to the edges the case will push out the screen protector from the sides
Hey you briliant dude they leave that gap as samsung original cases fill that gap as samsung original case lie on the screen a little bit for protection of screen by which if the phone falls down the screen facing will lie on the case so they leave that gap
Wtf dude stop it 😂
😂
the screen protector is trash. i'd honestly just skip using one altogether
Rubbish
😂
