I have really weird eyebrows. One arches and the other doesn't. Everytime I smile one goes up and the other stays flat. It is very unflattering. But if I arch one more than the other it would look bizarre when I'm not smiling, because they look the same when I have a resting face. Does anyone struggle with this too? Or am I a freak of nature? Any advice?

I had the same issue, my left eyebrow for all intents and purposes is the "good eyebrow" so I plucked and arched the right one until it was similar enough to my left one, scupt it with a pencil, and fill it in with powder
I get a LOT...A...LOT of compliments on my eyebrows. I used to get bullied when I was in school because of how hairy they were, but now I actually love the fact.

I love your tips and tricks. I've learned so much from you and have put to use so many of your recommendations/tips. I've mastered eyeshadow for a hooded eye. I used to hate my eyes or putting shadow on them. Now I love how they look and have received many compliments on my makeup. Thanks so much! Because he has a light hair color. At man with dark hair color you can see the light skin from where the brows are plucked. It’s lighter because all these years there was hair and blocked the sunlight from it

finally someone who knows what they're talking about when it comes to eyebrows! for years, I've known that the advice every "expert" or beauty mag article had to say about eyebrows was wrong! the trick about aligning a stick from the outer edge of your nostril and edge of the eye is the dumbest thing ever! and it's been taught by everyone!!! im not a beauty expert, but I knew this by looking at women around me and even on TV. i could tell that they had used that stupid rule and their eyebrows now looked awful. thank you Mr Wayne G. you do know what you're talking about. I've been waiting for decades, yes decades to hear someone to teach this and you're the first that I've come across 😏

This explains a lot! I went for a "makeover" and had to rush and wash it off immediately because I looked very stern. They must have been following the old rule and that is why they put my eyebrows so close together. I think you're wonderful, Wayne, and I enjoy your videos very much!
I like this tip. ive tried both far apart brows and close together brows and I definitely prefer the wider ones on myself personally they make my eyes look not quite as close together, however I have been filling them in a bit closer together so that they look a bit more natural. thanks for the tip!

Excellent. I've been fighting the old rule (line up with nostril edge), just for the reasons you say but you STILL see it being bandied about. RUBBISH. You are, as ever, so right. And best of all, you can experiment before plucking by drawing in the eyebrows closer until you've found what suits you. I sorted mine out by using the stencils, they helped me find the best place. As a more effective general rule of thumb, I say no further out than the inner corner of the eye, ever!
This information has changed EVERYTHING for me!! Thank you so much!! The old advice never worked with my wide set eyes and broad nose. Your advice frames my eyes more beautifully and detracts from my beak :^)

I always thought the rule was that yes, go from the outside of your nose, but not straight up! If you go from the flare through the corner of your eye it seems to work out much better....
My nose for some reason has no point and its very flat. I've always hated it. But making it look thinner would be super nice. Love these videos
I'm sure your nose is perfect for your face. We are our own worst critics. That being said, there are some awesome nose contouring videos. Once you learn the proper technique, you can achieve a pointed and less flat bridge looking nose. Look up "nose job with makeup" lol.

what if eyebrows are not in a same level (if 1 eyebrow is above the eye bone and another is on the eye bone)
OMG! this is what im talking about!!! I told the parlor to narrow my nose line so it fits my eyebrow coz i got a medium nose but not wide but the beautician says you should start at the side of your nose. That day when i saw my face and look like my nose got bigger i decided to pluck and shave myself. THANK YOU!!!!
That ACTUALLY makes sense. I always wondered why we should be taking the pencil tip at the flare of the nose and start plucking there. It always seemed arbitrary and useless to me. BUT YOUR TIP MAKES SENSE! RESPECT!

I love this video so much, I always get judged for having close eyebrows naturally and get told they should start at the end of my nostrils but I have a large nose so they would literally start so far out and it annoys me so much when people say it! Sending this to da haters 😂😂

I have a scar on my eyebrow, so it affects the way my eyebrow grows. On the normal eyebrow, it's perfect. But on the other one it's all screwed up. Above the scar there's hair same with the bottom, so it looks thicker. It's always a hassle trying to get them to look like same.. Any tips..?

My brows are naturally close together and my nose looks thin even though it is not a particularly petite nose :) I agree I don't like the tip that your brows should start at the line form your nostrils - that does not work for my face at all!

I want YOUR eyebrows! I'm struggling right now with mine. I had a bad case of over waxing where each time I went they seemed to get smaller in the early 2000s and they had never recovered. I grew them back out (by the grace of God) but now I have no clue how I should shape them.
+christianaalexia That's a great tip. Thank you! My issue is that mine are very full and dark (which isn't bad) but the grow into my hair and all over the place. I have a lot of Native American blood on my moms side and the struggle is real! So my eyebrows don't really have a natural shape besides looking crazy lol

EJ Cannon in that case I'd say trim them too to keep them from being unruly. And there's even products to keep the hairs in place now or you can take some hairspray (lightly) in a spooly to keep them in place and hopefully also train them to grow in that direction.
I have really messed up and uneven eyebrows. It's extremely frustrating and it makes it impossible to draw them evenly. They are THIN, almost invisible, and i feel like their almost uneven in one is higher than the other. Please, Someone help.
I had a similar problem a while ago. I decided the only thing to do was to stop touching them. I stopped plucking them as much as I could. I know this sounds terrifying, but once I let my eyebrows go natural, they grew back and I was able to have them professionally waxed and they look perfect now! I even followed Wayne's tip and narrowed the gap. I advise -even if its scary- that you refrain from plucking them for a while. :)
